Bali’s not short of a beach club or three. Whether it’s gorgeous white sand beaches, funky beats, designer cocktails or just wanting to spend some time relaxing with the kids and family by the pool – here’s a list of Bali’s best beach clubs to hang out, enjoy the beach and drink a delicious tropical cocktail or a cold Bintang beer.

Seminyak

Seminyak is the most fashionable and popular beach town of Bali, home to some of the island’s most iconic and celebrated beach clubs. From your private pool villa in Seminyak, you can stroll down to the beach and check all of them out, see which one of these amazing ocean front venues steals your heart away. Let’s take a closer look:

KU DE TA Beach Club

This is Seminyak’s original beach club that started it all and remains one the top places to see and be seen for sunset drinks. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available and Sunday brunches are popular with families as there’s usually bouncy castle and a crafts table to entertain the kids.

Potato Head Beach Club

This is beach club royalty. Two restaurants, a swanky beachfront bar, an infinity pool overlooking the sparkling Indian Ocean, swaying palm trees, funky music, and a big lawn for the kids to run around on. Get there nice and early to grab a daybed poolside or find a nice shady spot on the grass with a picnic rug and enjoy a casual lunch with a few signature cocktails.

Cocoon Beach Club

Ideally located on the corner of Jl. Double Six, Cocoon enjoys fantastic views of the ocean and beach. Lounge on a double day bed by the pool and get suitably buzzed with two-for-one cocktails from 4 pm to 7 pm while shaking your booty to the awesome beats of both local and international DJs. For the hardcore party-goers don’t miss their monthly Full Moon parties!

Uluwatu

Located on the southern tip of Bali, Uluwatu is home to the island’s most beautiful white-sand beaches found in between the high limestone cliffs of the Bukit Hills. Sundays Beach Club

Take the spectacular trip down on the inclinator to Sundays Beach Club, where the super friendly staff will set you up with towels, sunbeds, umbrellas and whatever you need for a day at the beach. They also provide complimentary water-sports hire and free beach toys for the kiddies. Once you have worked up an appetite head to their restaurant and sample some delicious local and international cuisine. El Kabron

Perched 50 metres on the cliffs of Bingin Beach in Uluwatu, this Spanish-themed beach club offers the ideal location to catch a sunset. Lounge by the stunning infinity pool that ‘merges’ with the ocean, sip on a sangria and munch on delicious tapas.

Keramas

Keramas Beach is located on the peaceful and pristine black volcanic coastline of East Bali, just a one-hour drive from Sanur. The reason we are mentioned Keramas beach is not only because it is a famous beach among surfers but most of all because it is home to a great beach club, really worth checking out! Komune Beach Club

Komune Beach Club is situated in front of the famous Keramas surf beach where international contests have previously been held. So lie back in a hammock or the pool and admire the surfers while listening to some chilled-out tunes. They even have an outdoor cinema set amongst the coconut trees and their food is delicious, made with fresh produce from their own organic garden. Yummy!

Ubud

Ubud is praised for many things and it is mostly known as the cultural and the spiritual heart of the islands, home to artists, healers, yogis, and yoginis. Who would’ve thought that even in the center of Bali, there would be something similar to a beach club… or should we call it a Jungle Club? Jungle Fish
