Romantic activities in Bali for couples on a low budget

Some things in life are for free…

1. Escape the crowds and visit the gorgeous white sand beach of Nyang Nyang

Taking your loved one to a secret, soft white sandy beach scores pretty high on the list of must-do romantic activities in Bali and the best thing is, it is free. Nyang Nyang Beach is not a secret anymore, but it is still very secluded and beautiful. Located at the bottom of a high limestone ocean cliff, it takes a bit of effort to get there (or should I say, to get back up…) but your efforts will be rewarded. Nyang Nyang Beach also has an abundance of natural cosy love nests hidden away in between the tropical plants at the bottom of the cliff. Bring your beach towels, bathers, sunblock and a backpack stocked up with drinks and snacks. Your romantic beach day can’t go wrong!

2. Sunset gazing on the beach

Bali’s sunset is world-famous for a reason: it is magnificent! As the sun kisses the day goodnight, spreading its honey-coloured glow over these sacred lands, all love birds gather for that magical twilight moment, gazing at the horizon together while holding hands and sipping some tropical sunset cocktails. The ambience is almost enchanting, creating memories to last a lifetime. You can also take some fantastic selfies to capture this love trip to Bali. Enjoy these moments strolling along the coastline, just the two of you. If you got money to spare for sunset drinks, some great places to sit down are KU DE TA Beach Club and La Plancha in Seminyak or Single Finn in Uluwatu.
