Bali homeware shopping

With its great beaches and exotic tradition and culture, Bali is a magnet to artistic people from around the world. From this creative melting pot, a multitude of homeware shops and boutiques have sprung up, combining traditional with contemporary, while being highly supportive of the work of local artisans. So instead of exceeding your baggage allowance with another pink frangipani sarong or a bunch of fridge magnets that won’t even make it past nanna’s kitchen, we’ve come up with a list of the busiest and trendiest homeware shops the island has to offer.

Bungalow Living

If you are a cushion-addict and Bungalow Living is not on your homewares-shopping list, you simply can’t be doing it right. This homeware mecca is made up of three shops (all three stores are within a stones throw of each other) that offer an impressive range of cushions in all shapes and colors. It also has a beautiful collection of resort/villa/bungalow style homeware, furniture, books and music. After exploring every nook and cranny, the Café serves delicious fresh juices and light meals.

Enjoy the mouthwatering home-cooked food and shop gorgeous textiles, ceramics and throws that ooze understated Scandinavia sophistication. Grab a driver, your friends, your cash and make a morning of it over brunch or lunch whilst you finalise your wish-list.

Bali Zen Home

Set aside some decent time to explore this popular Bali fabric décor. We are talking cushion covers by the truckload, crocheted rugs and kids toys, aprons, bed linen and a ton of bags. And, because they only sell fair trade décor and gifts, you have a legitimate reason to buy that one extra piece.
