We”re thrilled to hear that Jetstar has unveiled a new flight path connecting Perth and Lombok directly. This is the first ever non stop flight between Australia and Lombok, and it is certainly good news for all our Australian guests, who can now skip the hassle of transferring through Bali, or taking a ferry.
Lombok is a beautiful spot of pristine paradise, where people still get around by Cidomo horse drawn carts, and natural beauty abounds in every corner. Lombok is described as reminiscent of Bali’s past before it rapidly grew as a tourism hub and it is certainly worth exploring, especially if you favor the laid back lifestyle. Jetstar will be operating 4 flights a week to the island, and it is operated by Airbus A320, flying on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. It promises to make Lombok more accessible than ever, with a flight time of a mere 3 hours 40 minutes. Fares start from $179, making it very affordable even for a short getaway with friends, or a romantic trip with your partner.
