Good news for all those who love Bali!
The Bali Times has just announced that the environmental quality index in Bali has reached 99.65%, just 0.35% shy of full marks.
Bali is now the most environmentally friendly region in all Indonesia. The increase in Environmental Quality Index has been attributed to environmental programs such as reforestation, community anti-plastic trash movements. There have also been plans for environmentally friendly sewage treatment plants sometime in the future.
This would certainly translate to lush forests, crystal clear waters and blue skies for all to enjoy, and a greener environment for future generations.
