Mark out 16th June 2013 on your calenders, as one Bali’s largest sporting event returns for it’s annual race!
The BII Maybank Bali Marathon is set to be held in Gianyar, Bali this year, and there are 4 categories which runners can take part in:
1. Full Marathon
2. Half Marathon
3. 10K
4. Children’s Sprint
The course will take runners over rolling hills and flat road, whilst enjoying the beauty of natural Bali and cultural performances along the way.
All participants will get a running shirt and souvenir of the race from sponsors, all finishers will get a finisher medal and all full-marathon finishers will get a finisher shirt. For competitive runners, there is even prize money to be won, with a total of US$150 000 in prizes to be given away to the best performers.
With a month to go before the race, registration is ongoing and can be made online. Currently, there are already more than 1500 runners in total who will be taking part in the marathon. Will you be part of this exciting sporting event?
