Located in the Alas Harum resort area, which boasts attractions like the iconic Bali Swing, it’s an ideal sanctuary for nature lovers. Fair warning: it gets popular, so either arrive early (as early as 8 AM) or book ahead to snag your preferred lounging spot.

Guests can only stay here for a maximum of 3 hours so everyone can have their turn experiencing the magic at Cretya. There’s an entrance fee of IDR 50,000 but there’s no minimum spend required for the pool deck, lounge and bar areas. Walk-ins are welcome too.

The Wanna Jungle Pool and Bar, located within the Kayon Resort complex, offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy its scenic three-tier pool amid lush jungle scenery without straying too far from Ubud’s cultural hot spots.

A day pass of IDR 500,000 provides access to the pool facilities for the day, alongside a IDR 300,000 credit to spend on food and drinks from the poolside bar menu. Sunloungers and towels are also included. It’s important to note the slogan “adults only”—no kiddos under 15! This is so guests can relax without distraction and enjoy their peace and privacy from the pools.

For an extra special experience, consider booking one of the resort’s Floating Breakfast packages. This allows exclusive use of one of the pools for a morning, perfect for an Instagrammable breakfast with jaw-dropping jungle views as your backdrop.

There are also no entrance fees here. You just have to spend a minimum of IDR 500,000, which can be splurged on drink packages or delectable food options.

The tranquil setting makes it an ideal spot to relax during the day while enjoying their tasty menu. However, if you come during dusk, a natural light show illuminates the area and you can enjoy the gorgeous views with a sundowner.

By the way, Grab and Gojek transport services are not permitted to access the resort. So to get back to your accommodation, you’ll have to arrange a ride with a local taxi. Alternatively, you can also hire a private driver or wait for the resort shuttle back to central Ubud.

Tis Cafe provides a calm and serene environment situated directly in front of Bali’s famous Tegallalang Rice Terrace Fields. The two-level infinity pool features a swimming platform suspended above the landscape, alongside their own version of the traditional Bali swing and a bird’s nest seating area for photographs – helping visitors tick items off their Bali bucket list without the large crowds.

And guess what? Tis Cafe is one of the few family-friendly beach clubs in Ubud, with children under six years old receiving complimentary pool access. They also don’t charge you entrance fees – you just have to spend a minimum of IDR 300,000 per person for pool access and daybed usage.

Located in southern Ubud, Tlaga Singha is a multi-faceted pool club with stunning river views. In addition to an infinity pool, there is a cave-inspired pool featuring an in-pool swim-up bar. For those who don’t feel like swimming, you can treat yourself to a spa visit instead for some pampering, or dine in charming floating huts for a unique experience.

The entrance fee costs IDR 200,000 (includes a drink, pool access and towel) and cabana packages (for 4 people) starts from IDR500,000. Tlaga Singha is also right next to Bali Zoo, so if you want to see some majestic animals, we suggest making a quick stop next door.
