Genesteld in een tuin met weelderige flora en koivijvers, omhult Villa Gembira u volledig met dat typische Balinese gevoel voor de natuur. Gelegen in de rustige wijk Batubelig, ligt deze villa op slechts enkele minuten van het strand en de boetieks van Canggu en Seminyak, maar is toch verborgen van de drukte en biedt gasten een ultiem gevoel van privacy. Lang en rechthoekig van vorm, nodigt Villa Gembira u uit om uw Balinese dagen door te brengen in het zwembad van 10x4 meter dat verscholen ligt aan de achterzijde of in de centrale, open-air woonkamer gelegen tussen de twee slaapkamers. Deze rustige schuilplaats biedt plaats aan maximaal vier gasten tegelijk, maar laat dat geen belemmering zijn voor grotere groepen - huur de prachtige villa met vier slaapkamers ernaast en vergroot uw potentiële groepsgrootte tot 12 personen in totaal met seminyak/villa-sembira">Villa Sembira!
De eerste slaapkamer begroet u aan de rechterkant met prachtig geschilderde dubbele deuren onder een traditionele boog. Deze slaapkamer met airconditioning heeft in het midden een kingsize bed, dat op verzoek kan worden veranderd in twee eenpersoonsbedden. Gewikkeld in wit muskietengaas ter bescherming tegen het tropische ongedierte, wordt het bed begrensd door een set nachtkastjes en lampen om 's avonds comfortabel te kunnen lezen, terwijl in de hoek een traditioneel dagbed staat om buiten bed in de kamer te kunnen loungen. In de andere hoek staat een flatscreen TV boven op een mooi antiek houten bureau. Door de gordijnen aan de zijkant van de kamer is een ruime inloop kledingkast met hangruimte, lades en een kluisje om uw spullen veilig te bewaren tijdens uw verblijf. Na het passeren van de kleedkamer vindt u een en-suite badkamer in een overdekte, buitentuin. Geniet van een warme douche onder de regendouche en ervaar het eilandleven op zijn best. Deze badkamer heeft ook een dubbele wastafel, een sierlijk gebeeldhouwde spiegel, toilet en waterdispenser.
De tweede slaapkamer met airconditioning ligt verderop in de open hal van de villa, aan de andere kant van de gemeenschappelijke woon- en eetruimte. Deze kamer heeft ook een kingsize bed met muskietengaas in het midden, deze is beperkt tot de solo configuratie in tegenstelling tot de twee eenpersoons opties van de eerste slaapkamers. In de linkerhoek staat een grote flatscreen-tv met satellietzenders en een dvd-speler, die rust op een korte ladekast met drie laden. De combinatie van smaakvolle houten meubels, een Aziatische olifant aan de muur en vensterluiken in alle vier de hoeken creëert een lichte en uitnodigende slaapkamerambiance voor gasten om in te ontspannen. Net als in de eerste kamer moet men door een kleedkamer lopen voordat men in de buitenbadkamer en-suite komt. Deze badkamer is echter uitgerust met een luxe badkuip en regendouche overdekt door een gazebo met hemelbekleding. Omringd door torenhoge palmbladeren, steenhouwwerk en begroeid groen, verzekeren wij u dat deze badomgeving een van de top hoogtepunten van Villa Gembira is.

Voor degenen die graag willen loungen bij het zwembad tijdens hun vakantie op Bali, biedt de strohut van de villa de perfecte omgeving om dit te doen. Gelegen op een steenworp afstand van de rand van het zwembad, is deze schaduwrijke gazebo met zijn grote kussens, kussens en mini tafel geschikt voor alle soorten zwembad billen. Twee extra ligstoelen en een Balinese parasol zijn ook beschikbaar om te genieten van de warme, tropische zon van het eiland.
Als u genoeg tijd heeft doorgebracht bij het zwembad, kunt u samenkomen in de woonkamer van de villa, die aan twee kanten open is om de natuurlijke lucht en de zeebries binnen te laten. Deze open ruimte is ingericht met een pluche, L-vormige bank die uitkijkt op de groene klimopmuur en de vijver met koivissen. Versierd met kleurrijke blauwe kussens, verzamelde Indonesische kunstvoorwerpen en een selectie boeken om uit te kiezen, is deze kamer comfortabel en dicht bij elk van de twee slaapkamers. Ook hier is een volledig uitgeruste keuken en een vier persoons eettafel.
Ruim en fris, deze villa geeft u een heerlijk gevoel van leven met de elementen, in stijl.
Je hoeft je niet af te vragen waar je heen moet of wat je moet doen, want Villa Gembira heeft een zorgzaam team van medewerkers die je graag helpen en adviseren. Je hoeft je ook geen zorgen te maken over het huishouden of de veiligheid, want al het huishouden wordt voor je gedaan. Villa Gembira ligt op een rustige locatie, verscholen in een vredig gangpad achter de opkomende Batu Belig Street. Een korte wandeling brengt u naar het prachtige strand van Batu Belig, veel rustiger dan het naburige Seminyak en Canggu. Uitstekende restaurants in de buurt van de villa zijn Métis, Sardine en La Finca. Voor een heerlijke gezonde lunch gaat u naar Watercress Cafe of Nook. Het centrum van Seminyak ligt op slechts een klein eindje rijden. U kunt er zelfs naartoe lopen als u zin heeft om de omgeving te verkennen.

10/10Location was perfect. Nice and quiet but close to shops and restaurants. Maid service was definitely 5 star! Beds extremely comfortable. So many positives, too many to mention. Would absolutely stay at this villa again. Only drawback was WiFi connection wasn't too good but that's not the end of the world! Just a fabulous holiday! Thank you for allowing us to experience your villa.
10/10Such a lovely villa to stay in. The whole team are so friendly, welcoming and accomodating. The pool is beautiful and so nice to relax in. The breakfasts were delicious and the villa was always in good shape. Close to everything you need and it’s easy to organise pick ups and drop offs here for activities further away.

10/10The villa was beautiful and clean. Staff were very friendly and happy to assist with any need! On the first day we were there one of the rooms had no aircon but staff were quick and efficient to organise this to be fixed. I Would 100% recommend staying at Villa Gembira.
10/10Absolutely loved this Villa. Staff are wonderful and always keen to help with any situation. The gardens are very well maintained and you are always reminded that you are in a tropical garden from the tropical plants, cat fish pond, geckos, frogs and beautiful insects such as dragonflies, beetles etc Location is great with a short stroll to convenience stores and food outlets etc.

The garden was just as impressive, lush and well-maintained, making the whole place feel private and peaceful. The villa itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were friendly and responsive, which made the experience even better they were really amazing. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, stylish escape!

10/10Villa Gembira is a stunning villa that managed to be a quiet and peaceful space despite being relatively close to a bunch of restaurants and things. There is a cafe 5minute walk from the villa called Watercress which is helpful if you’re not bothered to trek it further away for meals. And if you’re comfortable riding a motorbike there are some amazing restaurants not too far away too! The beach is about a 5 minute walk as well but isnt very nice and you can’t swim there. The staff at villa Gembira are so so lovely and make the best breakfasts! And the villa provides cheap massages that are actually really good. Overall we loved our time at Villa Gembira! Would 100% recommend!!
10/10We stayed at Villa Gembira for 10 nights and we had a fabulous time. The staff were great, cooking lovely breakfasts every morning (the nasi goreng and the mie goreng are delicious), and tending the pool and garden. The Villa is in a quiet location yet only a few minutes walk from numerous cafes and restaurants. For a longer walk we waked along the beach to the shopping streets of Seminyak (best done in the cool of the morning). The pool is absolutely delightful, and sitting in the cabana in the afternoon with a book was heavenly. We had numerous massages organised by the staff, all of which were great. Highly recommend Villa Gembira for a relaxing stay.

8.6/10The villa was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay We enjoyed lazing by the pool and the beds were very comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach but getting taxis and getting around to other locations was a bit of a problem due to thick traffic so allow extra time to go further away..

Very similar vibe and staff. Another glorious pool, staff and their breakfast in the morning was delicious and it was the perfect place to finish off our stay in Bali !
10/10Villa Gembira is awesome. We stayed here as a family of 4 whilst the remainder of the group stayed in villa senang next door. This villa is perfect for a small family or two couple. Gave us the privacy we needed with our young children with everything we needed pool, lounge, kitchen etc. beautiful villa with amazing staff. Couldn’t fault.
