About Villa Astaga

If you’re the type who puts a high premium on intimacy and privacy – someone who enjoys hushed surroundings and quiet conversation with only a select group of friends, Villa Astaga, then, is the ideal getaway for you. Its compact and seamless layout not only creates a cozy and warm ambiance. It also shapes a world of luxury and leisure which, at least for the duration of your stay, you can call your very own.

Outdoor And Pool Area

The 10-meter Swimming Pool, which on one side is under the shade of the Garden’s tall tropical plants and shrubs, occupies most of the outdoor area. In its cool and clear waters, you can do short laps or simply wade in for a refreshing dip. On the wooden deck parallel to the swimming pool’s length, you can bathe in the sun on either one of the cushioned Pool Beds or on one of the bright, neon-colored Beanbags.

The Living Area

In the semi-open Pavilion next to the pool, the Living Area is set up with cushioned, shabby chic wooden Benches and a driftwood Center Table. Here, you can lounge about while engaged in laid-back conversation. Or simply enjoy one another’s presence. The Dining Area occupies only a fourth of the spacious Pavilion. On the small wooden table which can comfortably seat only four, you can savor each other’s specialties as well as common favorites which you yourselves skillfully concocted at the Kitchen section. The Counter that separates the dining area and the kitchen is provided with Stools so it can also serve as a Bar where cocktails and after-dinner drinks may be mixed or poured out for long, winding down talks.

The Bedrooms

The villa has only two Bedrooms that open out and have direct access to the pool area through floor-to-ceiling glass doors. Both have King-Sized Beds, Wide-Screen TVs and dedicated Bathrooms although there are slight differences. The Master Bedroom has a Black and White color scheme and its bathroom has a Rain Shower, a Bathtub and a view of the garden. The Second Bedroom, in contrast, has an Earthy motif and an Open-Air Bathroom with Rain Shower.

Staff And Services

The Staff of three members perform regular Housekeeping, Gardening and Pool Maintenance. The services of a Babysitter, Chef, Driver, Laundry Helper, Personal Guest Assistant and Spa Therapist may be arranged upon request. These, however, will be charged separately. Also available for rent are a Car and a Scooter.

Around Villa Astaga

Villa Astaga is located in the predominantly residential area of Kerobokan although there are attractions close by that you shouldn’t miss during your stay. There’s the secluded Berawa Beach with its calm waters ideal for swimming. Also, Batubelig Beach with its less crowded but equally notable food scene. Sunsets are magical at both beaches. Make sure you also get to visit the centuries-old temple Pura Petitenget and the Primo Bali Chocolate Factory. Then put your sleuth skills to the test at the Escape Hunt Experience Bali.

What a wonderful retreat close to the action, but peaceful at the same time! Short walk to great restaurants and shops. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful, felt luxurious. Great pool, I can imagine kids will love it too! There was a bit of a mix up with the pick up from the airport (which is great service to begin with!) but all was sorted and it's nice not having to worry about cabs on arrival. Friendly staff. We'll be back!

Fantastic villa. Great for travelling with friends as both bedrooms are quite separate to each other. The pool is a lot larger than the photos show. The location is quite secluded and out of the hustle and bustle, however you can walk to the main areas of Seminyak in 20 mins. There is a laundry, convenience store and cafe within 10 min walk also. The manager, Nyoman, is wonderful! Nothing is too much trouble. I would happily stay there again.

Great and affordable villa! Immaculate service however it may be hard to find as there are no signages on the main street. 5 minutes away from Seminyak, this villa is strategically located close to the trendiest bars and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Wonderful villa ... Swimming pool and bedrooms more beautiful than the photos. The staff was very kind and was always able to respond and act to our requests. We have been living in the villa for 3 nights before travelling around the island and then we came back for 3 nights. I highly recommend. The villa is calm and close to many good restaurants and warung. Do not miss the warung Sobat. Many big thanks to !!

Very beautiful villa (even more than the photos), calm and private, with a beautiful pool. We really enjoyed the stay with my wife. The location is ideal, next to all commodities by scooter or taxi. Staff very friendly. Highly recommended !!

Villa Astaga is wonderful, it's the first time I'm going somewhere where the pictures are not as good as the real thing, I really recommend it ! Théo,

A very beautiful villa! One draw back was the fact that we didn't drive, so we had to hire transport when we wanted to go any where. The house keeping was fabulous, we had an issue with the air-con in a bedroom and was told it was going to take a few days to repair it. Our fantastic house keeper Nyoman phoned these people up and really ripped it up them, and it was repaired within hours. Also, the villa owners sent us a bottle of wine to make up for this! A really personal experience. We also had the services of a great driver, recommended by Nyoman. His name is Guste, and he is a local and very experienced with great English. Very recommended. He went out of his way also, to look after members of our family without being asked, and when commended on this he said that our son can now count on him as family if he ever returns. I would highly recommend Villa Astaga, a beautiful villa and a lovely holiday destination!

A lovely VIlla, beautifully designed and yet very practical and comfortable. The only problem was the internet which was a bit slow/unstable for anything except e mail (e mail worked ok). A great place in a quiet neighbourhood and yet not far from the centre of Seminyak.

Peter (Philippines) stayed at Villa Astaga with his/her family from 23/12/2014 to 31/12/2014

Beautiful villa, very new (looks less than 1 year old) and is as good as what you see in the website photos. Nested in a quiet neighborhood. Takes less than 10mins to walk out to the main road or you can call the taxi to the villa.

Su Yen (Singapore) stayed at Villa Astaga with his/her family from 17/11/2013 to 20/11/2013

Fantastic villa, very private, well fitted out with a beautiful pool. Great value for money and ideally suited for one or two couples. Not close to shops and beach but taxis are very cheap and you find it very hard to leave the villa anyway
