family spending time in holiday villa in Bali

Enjoy relaxing stays in our Amed villas.

Planning a quiet East Bali escape shouldn’t mean sifting through endless listings. Tell us your dates, group size, and what you’re hoping for, and we’ll curate Amed and Candidasa villas we’ve personally inspected—homes selected for comfort, privacy, and that slow, scenic coastal rhythm the region is known for.

Once you’ve chosen your villa, we can help arrange everything that keeps the trip smooth: airport transfers, a private driver for exploring the coast, groceries ready on arrival, in-villa spa treatments, and reservations at the best local spots. You enjoy the sunrises, snorkelling, and calm beaches; we handle the practicalities behind the scenes.

Amed Villas for Your Holiday

Tucked along Bali’s peaceful east coast, Amed is the kind of place where time slows down and the sea is always within sight. Far from the crowds of Seminyak or Canggu, this charming coastal village is known for its quiet beaches, traditional fishing boats, and stunning views of Mount Agung. Staying in one of our Amed villas means surrounding yourself with nature, culture, and complete relaxation.

The villas in Amed are perfect for travelers who want to enjoy both comfort and authenticity. Imagine waking up to sunrise views over the water, stepping outside to your own tropical garden, and spending afternoons in your private pool. Many of the villas here are built in traditional Balinese style, with spacious open-air living areas and thoughtful design details that blend into the landscape.

Whether you're here for a romantic escape, a digital detox, or a peaceful family holiday, your Amed villa becomes your home base for unforgettable days on Bali’s quieter side.

Best Things to Do in Amed

Amed may be laid-back, but it's far from boring. The village is a favorite among snorkelers and divers, thanks to its healthy coral reefs and iconic dive sites like the Japanese Shipwreck and the coral gardens off Lipah Beach. Dive centers such as Adventure Divers Bali and Bali Fab Dive Center offer everything from discovery dives to PADI certification courses, making it easy to explore the underwater world no matter your skill level.

If you're more into land-based adventure, head to Lempuyang Temple—known for its “Gates of Heaven”—or embark on a sunrise trek up Mount Agung for panoramic views across Bali. When it's time to eat, Amed doesn't disappoint. Enjoy slow breakfasts at Galanga, sunset views over cocktails at Blue Earth Village, or fresh seafood straight from the grill at Warung Enak. Evenings are quiet and star-filled—perfect for returning to your villa for a swim, a massage, or simply a good book by the pool.

Why Should Families Stay in Amed?

Families often fall in love with Amed for its peaceful rhythm and genuinely warm atmosphere. Unlike Bali’s more touristed spots, Amed offers space to breathe and beaches that are safe and calm for little ones. Roads are less busy, the pace is slower, and local warungs welcome families with open arms and kid-friendly dishes.

Villas in Amed give families exactly what they need—separate bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, full kitchens, and private pools where the kids can splash around while the adults relax nearby. Instead of navigating crowded hotel lobbies or coordinating multiple rooms, your family can settle into one beautiful space and enjoy being together without sacrificing comfort or privacy.

If you’re up for exploring, there’s plenty within reach. Sidemen’s scenic rice terraces make for a lovely day trip, the Tirta Gangga water palace is always a hit with kids, and the winding coastal drive to Candidasa is one of the most beautiful in Bali. All the while, your villa remains your personal sanctuary—a quiet place to return to after each outing.

Why I love Amed & Candidasa

Amed and Candidasa are perfect if you're looking to experience a quieter, more soulful side of Bali. I love how the pace slows down here — it’s all about coastal charm, local life, and incredible views of the ocean and mountains. Amed is known for its laid-back vibe and some of the island’s best diving and snorkeling spots, right off the beach. Candidasa, a bit further south, feels a little more polished but still peaceful, with a lovely stretch of coastline and easy access to cultural sites. Villas and accommodations in this part of East Bali often come with sweeping sea views and a real sense of calm, making them ideal for couples or anyone craving a more restorative escape. It’s a part of Bali that feels genuine, unhurried, and beautifully scenic.
