Villa Shamballa Residence is een prachtige rustige 1-slaapkamer retraite omgeven door tropische jungle, rivierbeddingen en rijstvelden, maar toch dicht bij het hart van Ubud, Bali's culturele en spirituele centrum. Deze villa combineert traditionele architectuur, oude houten interieur en een prachtig uitzicht met moderne luxe en service waardoor het de perfecte romantische uitje voor koppels op vakantie op het prachtige eiland van de Goden.
Boven vindt u de super grote en romantische slaapkamer suite met uitzicht over de jungle vallei met een hoog rieten dak en een houten interieur verrijkt met witte decoraties waardoor de ruimte een stijlvolle en serene sfeer uitstraalt. Aan het einde van de kamer is er een lounge met een antiek daybed en 2 sofa's met traditionele batik kussens, de perfecte plek om Bali's betoverende zonsopgang over de vallei te bekijken terwijl u geniet van uw ochtend koffie en luistert naar zachte muziek die speelt vanaf het iPod docking station. De kamer is voorzien van een prachtig hemelbed met lakens van Egyptisch katoen, witte gordijnen eromheen en prachtig ontworpen Chinese lampen op de nachtkastjes. In de houten garderobekast kunt u uw waardevolle bezittingen in de kluis opbergen en de frisse kimono's en slippers uit de kast halen om 's morgens aan te trekken. De en-suite badkamer is voorzien van een luxe bad met kaarsen, gelegen op een balkon met uitzicht op de vallei en er is ook een ontspannende regendouche en wastafel met gasten voorzieningen, waaronder een haardroger.

Aan de rand van een jungle vallei met een rivier die naar beneden stroomt in de kloof, ligt de buitenruimte van Villa Shamballa Residence met een overloop zwembad dat perfect samengaat met de prachtige tropische omgeving. Rondom het zwembad kunt u zonnebaden op een van de houten dagbedden om een lekker tropisch kleurtje te krijgen of u kunt genieten van een buitenontbijt in de gazebo met rieten dak en een houten zithoek. Aan de andere kant vindt u de perfecte plek om een boek te lezen op de ingebouwde sofa of kunt u een ontspannende traditionele massage krijgen in de spa met massagebed.
De lichte en ruime woonruimte is voorzien van traditionele rieten daken en een prachtig uitzicht over de omringende landschappen. De kamer heeft een prachtig houten interieur dat verrijkt is met traditionele kunstvoorwerpen. Er is een ronde houten eethoek voor een romantisch diner bij kaarslicht en een loungeruimte met een enorme spiegel die de junglevallei buiten weerspiegelt met comfortabele sofa's tegenover een houten kast met flatscreen satelliettelevisie, DVD-speler en veel boeken om uit te kiezen. s Avonds kunt u de bamboe luiken sluiten om een gezellige sfeer te creëren en samen een film kijken. Er is ook een extra badkamer beneden met een luxueus bad in natuursteen en een regendouche op een terrazzo vloer, omringd door groen en kaarsen.
Villa Shamballa Residence heeft 3 professionele en vriendelijke medewerkers die voor u zorgen tijdens uw verblijf met persoonlijke assistentie, dagelijkse huishouding en beveiliging 's nachts. Zij spreken goed Engels en kunnen privé yogasessies en ontspannende massages voor u regelen of activiteiten en dagtrips in de buitenlucht.
Villa Shamballa Residence is omgeven door het rustige en serene Indonesische plattelandsleven waar de enige geluiden die u zult horen die van de natuur zijn, terwijl het artistieke centrum van Ubud met vele kunstgaleries en spirituele hangouts op slechts 20 minuten rijden ligt door traditionele dorpen en groene rijstvelden.

10/10What an amazing location for this incredibly luxurious villa, staffed by the most amazing people. Eluh, Yang and their team were incredible, providing us with whatever we needed - which wasn't much if at all, since the villa was equipped with everything you could ask for. The food was an absolute delight. Breakfast - anything we asked for. Pancake - well - delicious. The view from the bedroom was a sight for sore eyes in the morning. The mist over the rain forest. What a treat. The bathrooms were so beautiful. If only we could take the interior of the entire villa home with us. The pool was just the icing on the cake. I cannot rave and credit the villa and beautiful people enough. You will NOT be disappointed - until you have to leave! Thank you ALL so very much. It was a dream.
9.8/10We loved our stay at Shamballa Residence! LOVED it!! The villa is beautiful, comfortable, light, and spacious: chairs/couches are comfy, the bed was lovely, it's totally open at the back so 100% natural light. The pool was such a treat!! It appears to spill into the jungle around the villa. And the bathrooms were so nice! The staff is amazing! They were helpful, kind and great cooks! (We also had massages and the villa staff set it up and they were heavenly!) I also need to note that our villa's driver was great!! We wanted a place close to Ubud, but not in the town center and that's what we got! Our only complaint is that the road behind the villa gets busy during the day, so if you're looking for something very quiet, this may not be the place. (It only really bothered us after a nighttime ceremony at a nearby temple ended and everyone drove home.)

9.2/10It is really a lovely place to stay for honeymoon. Exceptional service we received during our stay at Shamballa Residence.The villa and it's surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, clean immaculately presented and had everything necessary for a relaxing holiday. With amazing sunrise view from the open air spacious bedroom we couldn't ask for more. The staff who manages it were friendly, helpful and accommodating, we stayed for 3 nights but wish we'd stayed here longer. The villa is located about a 20 min drive from central Ubud, perfect for peace and quiet from the hubbub of town, we would definitely love to come back!

10/10We spent first two nights in here for our honeymoon. For us, this was much better than the Nusa dua Sofitel, where we stayed after. The villa was beyond my expectations. So clean, so big, and the best part was no mosquitos. The villa is completely open, and the sun, the waterfall sound and birds woke us up early in the morning. I felt like I am part of the nature. The food and staffs were so nice. The breakfast was really good. Only con is that this is not in the walking distance to the center of Ubud. So everytime we had to hire a taxi driver. But the villa had a taxi driver who took us everywhere. We will definetly go back to remind our honeymoon, so please maintain this villa like this for a long time!
10/10It was a DREAM: the villa is GORGEOUS!! When we first entered, the time has stopped and we started to live our best vacations ever. The villa is amazing, the view is wonderful and the staff make your stay peaceful and magic. All the team were incredibly helpful and kind. I wish I had never leave this place and I can stay there forever. Plus, the food is delightful! Go there, and you won't disappointed. LOVE IT
