La Villa Shamballa est une superbe retraite tranquille d'une chambre à coucher, entourée de jungle tropicale, de lits de rivière et de rizières, tout en étant proche du cœur d'Ubud, le centre culturel et spirituel de Bali. Cette villa allie une architecture traditionnelle, un intérieur en bois de style ancien et des vues magnifiques à un luxe et un service modernes, ce qui en fait une escapade romantique parfaite pour les couples en vacances sur la belle île des Dieux.
À l'étage, vous trouverez la très grande et romantique chambre à coucher qui surplombe la vallée de la jungle, avec un haut toit de chaume et un intérieur en bois enrichi de décorations blanches, ce qui confère à l'espace une ambiance classe et sereine. Au bout de la chambre se trouve un salon avec un lit de jour antique et deux canapés avec des coussins traditionnels en batik. C'est l'endroit idéal pour regarder le lever de soleil enchanteur de Bali sur la vallée tout en savourant votre café du matin et en écoutant de la musique douce provenant de la station d'accueil pour iPod. La chambre dispose d'un magnifique lit à baldaquin avec des draps en coton égyptien, des rideaux blancs autour du lit et de magnifiques lampes chinoises sur les tables de chevet. Dans l'armoire en bois, vous pouvez ranger vos objets de valeur dans le coffre-fort et sortir les kimonos et les pantoufles pour les porter le matin. La salle de bains privative comprend une luxueuse baignoire avec des bougies, située sur un balcon surplombant la vallée, ainsi qu'une douche à effet de pluie relaxante, un lavabo et des équipements pour les hôtes, y compris un sèche-cheveux.

Au bord d'une vallée de jungle avec une rivière qui coule dans la gorge, se trouve l'espace extérieur de la Villa Shamballa avec une piscine à débordement qui se fond parfaitement dans le superbe environnement tropical. Autour de la piscine, vous pouvez prendre un bain de soleil sur l'un des lits de jour en bois pour obtenir un joli bronzage tropical ou prendre un petit déjeuner en plein air dans le gazebo avec un toit de chaume et un coin salon en bois. De l'autre côté, vous trouverez l'endroit idéal pour lire un livre sur le canapé encastré ou pour vous offrir un massage traditionnel relaxant dans l'espace spa avec lit de massage.
L'espace de vie lumineux et spacieux présente des toits de chaume traditionnels et offre une vue magnifique sur les paysages environnants. La chambre présente une belle décoration intérieure en bois enrichie d'objets traditionnels. Il y a une salle à manger ronde en bois pour un dîner romantique aux chandelles et un salon doté d'un immense miroir reflétant la vallée de la jungle extérieure avec des canapés confortables faisant face à une armoire en bois avec une télévision par satellite à écran plat, un lecteur DVD et de nombreux livres à choisir. Le soir, vous pouvez fermer les volets en bambou pour créer une atmosphère douillette et vous blottir devant un film. Une salle de bains supplémentaire se trouve au rez-de-chaussée, avec une luxueuse baignoire extérieure taillée dans la pierre et une douche à effet de pluie posée sur un sol en terrazzo, entourée de verdure et de bougies.
La Villa Shamballa dispose d'un personnel professionnel et amical qui s'occupe de vous pendant votre séjour avec une assistance personnelle, un ménage quotidien et un service de sécurité la nuit. Ils parlent bien l'anglais et peuvent organiser des séances privées de yoga, des massages relaxants ou des activités de plein air et des excursions d'une journée.
La Villa Shamballa est entourée par la vie tranquille et sereine de la campagne indonésienne, où les seuls bruits que vous entendrez seront ceux de la nature. Le centre artistique d'Ubud, avec ses nombreuses galeries d'art et ses lieux de rencontre spirituels, n'est qu'à 20 minutes de route, à travers des villages traditionnels et des rizières verdoyantes.

10/10What an amazing location for this incredibly luxurious villa, staffed by the most amazing people. Eluh, Yang and their team were incredible, providing us with whatever we needed - which wasn't much if at all, since the villa was equipped with everything you could ask for. The food was an absolute delight. Breakfast - anything we asked for. Pancake - well - delicious. The view from the bedroom was a sight for sore eyes in the morning. The mist over the rain forest. What a treat. The bathrooms were so beautiful. If only we could take the interior of the entire villa home with us. The pool was just the icing on the cake. I cannot rave and credit the villa and beautiful people enough. You will NOT be disappointed - until you have to leave! Thank you ALL so very much. It was a dream.
9.8/10We loved our stay at Shamballa Residence! LOVED it!! The villa is beautiful, comfortable, light, and spacious: chairs/couches are comfy, the bed was lovely, it's totally open at the back so 100% natural light. The pool was such a treat!! It appears to spill into the jungle around the villa. And the bathrooms were so nice! The staff is amazing! They were helpful, kind and great cooks! (We also had massages and the villa staff set it up and they were heavenly!) I also need to note that our villa's driver was great!! We wanted a place close to Ubud, but not in the town center and that's what we got! Our only complaint is that the road behind the villa gets busy during the day, so if you're looking for something very quiet, this may not be the place. (It only really bothered us after a nighttime ceremony at a nearby temple ended and everyone drove home.)

9.2/10It is really a lovely place to stay for honeymoon. Exceptional service we received during our stay at Shamballa Residence.The villa and it's surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, clean immaculately presented and had everything necessary for a relaxing holiday. With amazing sunrise view from the open air spacious bedroom we couldn't ask for more. The staff who manages it were friendly, helpful and accommodating, we stayed for 3 nights but wish we'd stayed here longer. The villa is located about a 20 min drive from central Ubud, perfect for peace and quiet from the hubbub of town, we would definitely love to come back!

10/10We spent first two nights in here for our honeymoon. For us, this was much better than the Nusa dua Sofitel, where we stayed after. The villa was beyond my expectations. So clean, so big, and the best part was no mosquitos. The villa is completely open, and the sun, the waterfall sound and birds woke us up early in the morning. I felt like I am part of the nature. The food and staffs were so nice. The breakfast was really good. Only con is that this is not in the walking distance to the center of Ubud. So everytime we had to hire a taxi driver. But the villa had a taxi driver who took us everywhere. We will definetly go back to remind our honeymoon, so please maintain this villa like this for a long time!
10/10It was a DREAM: the villa is GORGEOUS!! When we first entered, the time has stopped and we started to live our best vacations ever. The villa is amazing, the view is wonderful and the staff make your stay peaceful and magic. All the team were incredibly helpful and kind. I wish I had never leave this place and I can stay there forever. Plus, the food is delightful! Go there, and you won't disappointed. LOVE IT
