Welcome to Villa Mas Ubud, which caters for 4 guests within its 2 bedrooms and which carries an abundance of natural materials and wood-based furnishings whether in the interiors or in the bedrooms. The villa is just a short driving distance from sites like the Sacred Monkey Forest and Ubud Palace, providing guests the convenience of sightseeing trips. The indoors and outdoors are also seamlessly integrated that makes the whole floor like a single unobstructed layout, where the indoors are brought outdoors and vice-versa.
Well-appointed with its tasteful and chic use of materials and furnishings, and with an abundance of natural lighting through its floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, are descriptions that can best represent the 2 rooms here. Fitted with double beddings for both, there are the chic and cosy furniture and furnishings that all do well to enhance the atmosphere. They are each housed within 2 independent building structures and one of the ensuite bathrooms has a modern, freestanding bathtub with all-blue wall tiles from the floor right up to the top.

One of the first key features within its outdoor space is the private swimming pool and another kid’s pool that occupy the concrete-paved terrace as the main alfresco deck. Lovely wooden deck chairs line one side of the pool for guests to nap or sunbathe, while taking in the lush greenery that frames the fringes of the villa’s perimeter. Another highlight is the open-air courtyard with a garden-like setting and a concrete pathway that leads to the villa’s main entrance through wooden front doors.
Guests will look forward to the seamlessly-integrated indoors and outdoors through the open-plan layout designed within its single floor space. The open living hall features oversized couch sofas for guests to simply chill and relax on, while keeping themselves entertained with channels at the flat-screen television, or simply absorbing the outside surroundings that faces the swimming pool. Adjacent to this living hall is the dining space with a long dining table that can sit up to 6 guests total, and where the fully-equipped kitchen area is also found just behind the dining room. The dining space here is unique as half of it is sheltered, and faces the open garden courtyard which sits under the open-air skyline.
Guests get to make use of the complimentary WiFi that is provided while daily breakfast is also catered for throughout their stay. For other requests such as hiring a chef to cook other meals and also hiring transportation for airport transfer, guests can make their requests that can be provided at additional cost.
The villa is strategically located in Mas Village of Ubud. Guests will find the villa the perfect base to make day outings or trips to sites like the Ubud Palace, Sacred Monkey Forest, Tegalalang rice terraces, or the Pasar Seni Art Market for some local handicraft shopping to bring home unique artisanal gifts.
8.6/10Villa was in a quiet street with good food nearby. There was also an affordable laundromat right outside the hotel entrance. Villa was located about 5mins ride into the main Ubud town. Easy to navigate. The staff were very freindly and accomodating. They cleaned and tidied the rooms very well. Breakfast was decent as well. Bedrooms were not too bad, although abit dated. The cupboards were difficult to open and dusty. Toilets were fine. Hot showers was abit hard to get but manageable. Overall, it was a good villa in a great location with great staff. Just needs abit of updating.

9.6/10Beautifully presented and perfectly positioned and very private. We had breakfast every morning which was perfect and dined at nearby restaurants(walking distance) each night. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem. I would definitely stay here again
