Villa Aum is a beautiful place in calm Balangan. Perfect for relaxation, and with a beautiful ocean view of west Bali. The staff are always on standby, really friendly, super helpful, and professional.

Our group of eight cannot say enough about the perfection of Villa Aum. To start with the place is even more remarkable than the photos. One area that’s not featured in the photos is the marvelous seating area adjacent to the dining room. From the outdoor lounge chairs to the balcony couches to the inside seating areas, everything was exceptionally comfortable, making it a wonderful place for our large group to enjoy each other. What stands out most, however, is the staff! Dewa and his team were exceptional and the meals they prepared for us were better than any restaurant. They were incredibly attentive and our whole group was sad to have to say goodbye. The upkeep of the villa is fabulous and nothing looks worn or old. The architecture is like nothing we’ve ever seen and every detail is well thought out and flows together perfectly.

A truly 5 stars experience. Professional staff who goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. The property is well taken care of & maintained. The architecture and cliff poisoning is spectacular. Would definitely recommend it for unforgettable experience.

Villa Aum is a very special place. Upon arrival the staff greeted us and made us feel at home. They gave us a tour and allowed us to choose our rooms, given the Villa is priced per room used. The property itself is beautiful - you can tell the architect who developed it wanted it to feel very special and inviting while providing an exceptional experience for guests. It is a short walk from the viewable beach and is ~10min walk from the other nearby beach. The staff were very helpful and always wanting to provide excellent service. There was an issue that occurred with the lighting system in the primary bedroom and they were able to fix it to ensure we had a great stay at the villa.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Aum. It's even more stunning than the photos! Dewa and the rest of the team at Villa Aum took care of us so well, providing us with a delicious breakfast and other meals, buying medicine when our kids came down with the flu, driving us to Uluwatu temple and booking tickets for us. The service was top notch, and the location and villa are unbeatable. A perfect gathering place for our extended family. Thank yoU!

Arriving at the villa was everything that we had hoped for. It looked exactly like it does in the photos. The set up was perfect for our 2 families, privacy when we needed it and ample areas for socialising together. There was a restaurant that we went to Balique that was great. The beach at the bottom of the cliff was easy to get to, albeit a steep climb, and the water was beautiful and clean. Dewa and his staff were amazing! They were helpful, friendly and always there when we needed them. The only negative that is not that massive is that the 5th bedroom is not actually a bedroom, which we were told about prior to coming, but compared to the other rooms it felt a bit out of the way and not as nice.

The palms sway gently next to the veranda as the sun drops into the ocean beyond. This is our initiation to this wonderfully located villa. The website pictures are accurate but cannot convey the sense of space. There’s a restaurant next door (less than 5 minute walk) with a bbq at weekends, and a menu that has the teens demanding a second visit. Nothing is too much trouble for Dewa who leads the staff. He drives us for cupboard / fridge filling at the supermarket, and to the local beaches for surf / beach life. 10 minutes or so. It is a lovely place.

Our family definitely have a wonderful time during our stay. Special mention to the manager Mr Dewa - he is always accommodative and patient. What’s more he is such an all-rounder- manager, driver and a super great cook.

Villa Aum! Best location and the best hospitality we ever had. Our stay at Villa AUM Was magical beyond all expectations. Where to start? The villa was gorgeous, beautifully designed and decorated. The pool was amazing at all hours of the day and night (excellent star gazing and see view ). The staff was wonderful! So kind, thoughtful and courteous. They are very helpful and lovely to be around, yet know how to blend into the background and still be there when you need them. The Villa manager, Dewa was there to check in on what we might need and will take care of any arrangements you need for day trips, drivers, airport transportation and anything else you may need, from setting up sightseeing to ordering lunch and dinner. we still miss the tropical fruits platter villa staff served us every day with big lovely smiles on their face. Villa manager DEWA, Thank you very much for your kind and honest services, we all are still missing you here in Australia. You and your staff left very lovely memories with us. Hopefully, see u soon next year.

Unser Urlaub in der Villa Aum vom 15. bis zum 23. August 2018 war einfach phantastisch. Wir waren 7 Personen, die sich gut auf die Schlafräume aufteilten. Die Räume sind sehr gut eingerichtet und bei einem Urlaub, bei dem man fast nur Draußen ist, völlig ok. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Wohnraum mit Küche, einschließlich des tollen Balkons, auf dem wir fast jeden Abend gesessen und den Blick auf das Meer genossen haben. Das Personal war einfach Spitze, es hat uns fast jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen und stand immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. An zwei Abenden wurden wir vom Team bekocht, das Essen war sehr lecker. Besonders schön ist auch der Pool, den wir gerne und oft nutzten. Der Blick von der Poolkante über das Meer hat etwas besonderes! Wir nutzten den PKW für kleine Ausflüge in die Umgebung, ob zum Affenfelsen oder zum Fischessen nach Jimbaran. Die Villa Aum war sehr sauber, ordentlich und gepflegt. Allerdings finden in der gesamten Anlage, die aus ca. 20 Villen besteht, aktuell einige Renovierungsarbeiten statt, die aber kaum störten. Ein Tipp noch, bei der Anreise dachten wir erst, die Lage der Villa ist völlig abgeschieden, das stimmt so aber nicht. Direkt nebenan sind 2 kleinere Hotels mit auch zwei kleinen Restaurant mit einheimischen Speisen, sehr zu empfehlen. Ganz in der Nähe, nur 20 min zu Fuss, wer nicht fahren will, liegt der naturbelassene Strand von Balangan, ein Surfer hotspot. My wife and I had decided to spend 3 weeks in Bali to read; relax; exercise; and go visit sites and areas on the list we had made beforehand. Villa Aum was spectacular. What made the Villa and overall vacation was the staff headed by Dewa. Every morning there was an amazing fruit platter with incredible presentations ( peaches carved liked a flower) and eggs; cereal. Nothing was ever too much. We walked down the road and exercised by going up and down the 130 steps to the beach. We spent a great deal of time at the house. The tranquility of Villa Aum was everything we could have hoped for. One could stay in the pool all day looking out over the Indian Ocean. We did venture out and went to a great private cooking class that preceded with a trip to the fish market. This was a great experience. We spent the day in Ubud ( ( about 2+ hours away). It was terrific but we were glad we chose to stay in the South. There is a well known resort very close by to Villa Aum. It was beautiful but quite busy. We are at the villa about 3-4 nights a week and Dewa; Neea, and Henryk made it quite special. I do not know what each prepared but the food, particularly the fish was absolutely delicious. Dewa took us to the store ( on our request) so we could stock up the house. Although I am a magnet to mosquitos and got all the inoculations; I did not get one bite. We did spray ourselves in the AM and early evening and that did the trick. There was no mosquito net on the bed but I bought one to bring. We left it there for future guests. Other than the long plane ride 24 hours; bali and Villa Aum should not be missed.

Excellent stay! Best island holiday we have had! We were sad to leave, the team at the Villa Aum were amazing! It was a good place to get away from the busy tourist attractions and have time to ourselves, with splendid facilities and food. Amazing view of the ocean and Mt Agung!

Villa Aum was perfect for those in search of a quiet bali get away where you can tuck yourself in a wonderful villa with one the best views and service you can hope for. Pak Dewi and Pak Made made our stay unforgettable. Ayana resort is a short beach walk away and the breakfast they provided was utterly delicious. The Villa and the view is exactly like those of the pictures and videos. I highly recommend Villa Aum for trips involving a big group. Cheers! :)

Beautiful villa with very friendly and helpful staff! We had dinner every night at the villa if Burger or Balinese food, everything was excellent! The only thing we were missing was an external shower on the pool area.

My first impression of the property was nothing less than breath taking. After being greeted by the excellent staff with cool refreshments, we found it incredibly easy to make ourselves at home during our stay. The extraordinary view and comfortable rooms made my stay at Villa Aum one to remember. As a photographer the eye catching styling and never ending view of the ocean made for an unforgettable photoshoot. The Villa's location is only a short distance from the heart of Balangan, and the staff made it very easy to travel around. I would absolutely recommend staying at Villa Aum to experience Bali in Luxury.
