Villa Irrawady is een designvilla met vier slaapkamers in Lovina, gelegen op de heuvels met weidse, rustgevende uitzichten die zich uitstrekken van het groene landschap tot aan de zee. De inrichting is strak en modern, verzacht door natuurlijke texturen, en de hele plek straalt een sfeer uit die gemaakt lijkt voor ontspannen dagen samen.
De dagen draaien hier vanzelfsprekend om het infinity-zwembad en het grote, open woonpaviljoen, waar altijd wel een schaduwrijk plekje te vinden is voor koffie, een uitgebreide lunch of een drankje bij zonsondergang. Villa Irrawady biedt ook een aantal extra’s die een verblijf met een groep gemakkelijk maken, zoals een pooltafel, een fitnessruimte en volop ruimte om je vrij te bewegen.
Alle vier de slaapkamers van Villa Irrawady zijn ingericht in dezelfde rustige, eigentijdse stijl, met fris beddengoed, natuurlijke accenten en veel lichtinval. Verschillende kamers kijken uit op het uitzicht, waardoor je bij het ontwaken meteen het gevoel hebt dat je op vakantie bent. Alle kamers beschikken over een eigen badkamer, afgewerkt met steentexturen en sculpturale wastafels die zowel verfijnd als authentiek aanvoelen. Sommige badkamers hebben een tropisch tintje met semi-openluchtelementen, waaronder een opvallend bad dat te midden van het groen staat, perfect na een dag in de zon.
Voor groepen werkt de indeling goed, omdat elke slaapkamer aanvoelt als een eigen privétoevluchtsoord, terwijl de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes centraal gelegen zijn en uitnodigen tot gezellig samenzijn.
De blikvanger buiten is het infinity-zwembad, dat zo is ontworpen dat je blik direct naar de kustlijn wordt getrokken. Er is een ingebouwde ondiepe ligzone met een parasol – een absolute favoriet voor lange middagen waarin je afwisselend in en uit het water gaat.
Langs het terras staat een rij ligstoelen, met boven je de open lucht en onder je weelderige heuvels. Het is een eenvoudige opstelling, maar het werkt prachtig: zwemmen, afdrogen, herhalen, en laat de zonsondergang de rest doen. Je vindt er ook ontspannen hoekjes om even helemaal tot rust te komen, waaronder een overdekt terras in balenstijl met massagetafels en een hangmat voor rustige momenten tussen de activiteiten door.
De belangrijkste leefruimte van Villa Irrawady is een ruim, open paviljoen– met hoge plafonds, grote zitgedeeltes en een indeling die het gemakkelijk maakt om samen te zijn zonder dat je het gevoel hebt dat je elkaar in de weg zit. De gebogen zithoek is ideaal voor lange gesprekken, filmavonden en lekker luieren halverwege de middag terwijl het briesje door de ruimte waait.
Eten is hier heel eenvoudig. Er staat een grote eettafel voor gezellige maaltijden met z’n allen en er is een keuken met een ontbijtbar waar iedereen bij elkaar blijft terwijl de koffie wordt gezet of hapjes worden opgediend. Voor wat ontspanning is er een pooltafel in de hoofdruimte en een aparte fitnessruimte– ideaal om de rijke vakantiemaaltijden in evenwicht te brengen met een snelle work-out.
Villa Irrawady is ontworpen voor een ontspannen, zelfvoorzienend verblijf, met een doordachte indeling die ervoor zorgt dat de dagen voor gezinnen en groepen soepel verlopen. Het villateam zorgt voor het onderhoud van het pand, zodat alles comfortabel en klaar voor de vakantie blijft.

Lovina is Bali in een rustiger tempo: rustige wegen, lokale warungs en een kustlijn die bekendstaat om zijn ontspannen avonden. Vanuit Villa Irrawady kun je gemakkelijk dagen doorbrengen met afwisselend genieten van het villaleven en korte uitstapjes voor eten, stranden en bezienswaardigheden. Voor de klassieke Lovina-ervaring ga je naar Lovina Beach voor een rustige sfeer aan zee en wandelingen bij zonsondergang.
Als je wat verder wilt verkennen, liggen de watervallen en het hooglandlandschap van de regio binnen handbereik, en de rit zelf maakt deel uit van de charme van Noord-Bali. Bij terugkomst voelt het uitzicht dankzij de ligging van de villa op een heuveltop als een beloning – vooral wanneer de lucht van kleur begint te veranderen.

10/10We stay in Bali every 3 months and Irrawaddy has been a standout stay . We always look for something unique and out of the norm. The success of a great stay is not only the villa which was exceptional but the culture of the team on the ground. Julie and Kadek were outstanding and nothing was to much . Julie’s breakfast was excellent and housekeeping at a 5 star level. Thank you to you both for going above and beyond our expectations. The Villa is tastefully decorated with all great bedrooms and excellent bedding and air con. The pool was the best of any pools we have had and the views and sunsets exceptional. The peace , silence and endless sea views are standout . We took all our beverages with us as we knew it was remote but Gojek/grab is possible but expect 80 mins as it’s quite a climb to get to the villa on a scooter. The team arrange transport into Lovina which was helpful and Pepito in town has all you need. Pool table was an awesome addition to the villa! We will be back !!
10/10What a great villa. In reality, it’s just as beautiful as in the photos. Great folks, everything spotless. They took care of everything for you. The journey there is an experience. Once you get there, it's amazing in one word. Also enjoyed the chef's culinary skills.

10/10The entrance to the property is through a huge metal door and then it's just wonder and a WOW.., discovering the huge infinity pool with an incredible view of the Bali sea. We had a jacuzzi, gym, gazebo, massage tables, pool table... a living room where it's nice to meet for a drink or around a good table. Everything is designed to live peacefully in the middle of a decoration of a subtle and sought-after taste... combining wood, glass and stone... All the very well-equipped rooms have sea and surrounding nature views. The bathrooms are just the continuation of luxury and well-being. late afternoons on the rooftop terrace while enjoying a drink and watching the sunsets over the volcanoes of Java. We were pampered by Julia & Kadek who with their great discretion have always been very present. We had a pleasant stay at IRRAWADDY ❤️
10/10A perfect stay from start to finish! The staff was simply adorable, always available and smiling. The villa was impeccable: clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and very well-equipped. The setting is idyllic, quiet and relaxing, ideal for relaxing with peace of mind. I would recommend it without a second thought!
10/10The villa is exceptional in comfort, decoration and amenities for a great stay with the family. The view is also exceptional for relaxing in a very natural environment. And with the scooter rental, we were 10’ or 20’ of amenities. The welcome by the staff was great, very attentive and attentive to our requests and very facilitator. We enjoyed a birthday meal prepared by the chef who booked the surprise of a birthday cake to celebrate this moment. 10/10Villa Irrawaddy is stunning. The bedrooms a beautiful retreat after a day of swimming, sunning, gazing at the fabulous view, jacuzzi, massages, gym, eating, playing pool, reading, listening to music using the villas fantastic sound system. Kedek and Komang were amazing, catering to our every need. They cooked, shopped, introduced us to delicious Balinese treats, cleaned, laundry. Some of our delicious dinners were cooked on site by a local chef. The villa is quite isolated which suited us perfectly, we never left it during our stay as all we required was provided for us.
10/10Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. The villa is well built, designed fabulously, and the views of lovina and the sunsets were priceless; all this combined with amazing staff, who cooked our meals, cleaned, and arranged our tours, transport, and onsite massages at very fair prices made our stay unforgettable. There was more than enough space for our family of five adults. The pool table, rooftop viewpoint and both the infinity and plunge pools were wonderful highlights. It was hard to leave this slice of paradise in Singaraja and we hope to return. Do not hesitate to book!
