De naam is Villa Madissa, die is gebouwd in een strakke, minimalistische stijl van witte interieurs en architectuur. Met veel Balinese elementen en persoonlijke accenten in het interieur en exterieur voelen gasten zich meteen warm, gezellig en welkom in het tropische Bali. Het pand is verdeeld over 2 verdiepingen en gasten zullen genieten van het ontspannen buitenleven aan de rand van het zwembad met rotan banken en loungestoelen.
Bekijk de 3 slaapkamers die schoon, modern minimalistisch en gezellig van stijl zijn dankzij de geheel witte muren, beddengoed en ander zacht meubilair, maar ook versierd met gepersonaliseerde tropische elementen gemaakt van rotan en hout, van de meubels tot de vloerplank die een mooi contrast vormt met de algehele setting. Alle kamers hebben kingsize bedden, ensuite badkamers en glazen schuifdeuren van vloer tot plafond die uitkomen op een klein balkonachtig binnenplaatsje en het uitzicht daarachter.

Buiten ligt een turquoise gekleurd zwembad aan de overkant van het houten dek, dat aan beide uiteinden is bezaaid met loungestoelen. Er is ook een rotan bank voor gasten om op neer te ploffen, evenals zachte meubels die de ruimte een geweldig, bevorderlijk en Instagrammable hoekje bieden voor gasten om te chillen en hun sociale media bij te werken.
Binnen in de villa zullen gasten genieten van het open lay-out concept waar het interieur en exterieur als één lijken te zijn. Een van de eerste ruimtes waar gasten komen, met uitzicht op het buitendek en het zwembad, is de eethoek met hoge krukken en een volledig witte tafel waar gasten kunnen genieten van hun gezamenlijke maaltijden en praatjes. De volledig uitgeruste keukenruimte ligt net daarachter en is ingericht met houten planken en kasten, met tegels met bloemmotief die de algehele look en sfeer versterken. De ongedwongen en informele woonkamer is voorzien van een comfortabele bank en een rotan salontafel die tegen de trap leunt voor gasten om naar boven te gaan in dezelfde met bloemenmotief betegelde treden.

Een professioneel team van medewerkers zorgt voor de huishouding, het onderhoud van het zwembad en de tuin om het comfort van alle gasten en de tip-top conditie van de villa te garanderen. Er is ook een gratis WiFi-verbinding en een groot aantal andere entertainmentvoorzieningen voor gasten om films te kijken of naar muziek te luisteren. Andere diensten zoals luchthaventransfer, huurauto's of oppasservice kunnen worden geboekt tegen een extra vergoeding.
Villa Madissa ligt in Canggu, centraal ten opzichte van verschillende bezienswaardigheden, zoals het dichtstbijzijnde strand op slechts 1,5 km afstand, de manege en een groot aantal restaurants voor gevarieerde eetgelegenheden.

8/10This villa provided a good respite from the business of Canggu. The housekeeper Ary is very kind and sweet. We enjoyed our stay here and the pool was a hit with the kids.
10/10Our family of 2 adults and 3 kids stayed at this amazing villa for 4 nights. The location for me is really the draw, only a 2mins walk to some of the best coffee shops, breakfast places and mini marts. Yet this place is nicely tucked into a quieter side street. From the moment we walked into the villa, we fell in love with the place! It’s so bright, spacious and beautifully decorated - almost as if you’re walking into a magazine shoot featuring the best minimalistic rustic/greek/balinese villa. Yet every turn you take, you can see how detailed the owner went out of there way to make it homey yet so picturesque. The rooms are so spacious as well. They thought of everything on how to make use of the space with the natural sunlight. Def makes you smile when you walk into this place. Unfortunately it is rainy season for us so the pool was a little cooler that we are used to but nonetheless the kids still enjoyed it. Ary who comes in everyday takes so good care of us. Making sure we are well feed for our first breakfast in the villa and providing fresh towels for our daily excursions. Def will recommend to anyone who doesn’t mind an open concept living space and wants to be close to the restaurants and coffee shops, oh and a CrossFit gym :). We will def be back to stay at the villa if we come back to Canggu!
8.6/10The location of the Villa was good and the villa was very well maintained. Service of the staff was also good and we also enjoyed the breakfast prepared for us. However the fan at the living room area was not functioning properly which could be quite hot at times. Do be prepared for quite a bit of mosquitoes despite the anti-mosquitoes incense. Nonetheless still a fantastic villa and definitely will be back again!
