Stayed again at the Sungai Gold villa, which is magnificent accommodation for a couple. As we remembered from our first visit, Made, Putu and Iluh's kind attention, and Wayan's culinary skills, made it a place we didn't want to leave. If you want a private get away in a non tourist saturated setting, enjoy the real farmyard soundscape, but want a bit of luxury with it, this is as good as it gets.

What an amazing place to stay. So luxurious and back to nature. I was very impressed with the service provided and all of the staff were very friendly. The bed was extremely comfy and I loved showering outdoors!

I have been fortunate to experience Villa Sungai and Sungai Gold three times now - once with family, once with a friend and the last visit was all on my own as I had business to conduct in a nearby village. The staff are all amazing, but the manager, Little Made makes anything and everything seem possible in his calm and wise way.
