Villa Shinta Dewi es una villa contemporánea de lujo situada en un tranquilo pueblo adormecido, cerca del centro de Ubud. Con tres lujosas habitaciones, un enorme jardín con una tentadora piscina infinita y un personal increíblemente dedicado, le esperan unas vacaciones maravillosas en la isla de los mil templos.
La suite principal se encuentra en la primera planta, junto a un balcón ventilado. El suelo de teca se enriquece con una alfombra roja de felpa y el sillón de ante es perfecto para ver la televisión antes de dormir. Hay una cama king-size de lujo con una cama supletoria extraíble que está disponible bajo petición. El vestidor está equipado con mininevera, caja fuerte electrónica, kimonos y zapatillas, y el cuarto de baño de mármol tiene bañera con vistas.
Las dos habitaciones de invitados se abren al otro lado del balcón y están diseñadas de forma idéntica, con camas gemelas que juntas forman una gran cama doble. Las habitaciones también disponen de TV con reproductor de DVD y amplios armarios con minibar y caja fuerte. Los cuartos de baño de mármol tienen duchas con vistas.

La pieza central de la villa es la piscina de 16 metros que resplandece en el corazón de la finca, invitándole a zambullirse allí mismo. La terraza de la piscina alberga un cenador balinés que es el lugar ideal para disfrutar de una comida al aire libre o simplemente para relajarse con una bebida, viendo a los niños jugar en el agua. La piscina está rodeada de exuberante vegetación, así como de cómodas tumbonas para coger ese precioso bronceado tropical. Más adelante en el jardín, donde se puede escuchar el relajante sonido del río, hay una zona de barbacoa para disfrutar de agradables cenas al aire libre.
La Villa Shinta Dewi le da la bienvenida en su elegante pabellón contemporáneo de planta abierta, que crea un equilibrio perfecto entre la vida tropical y la moderna. En el centro, frente a una hermosa pared tallada en estilo balinés, hay un cómodo sofá lounge de lujo sobre una alfombra roja de felpa, y para cenar hay una mesa de comedor de teca. La villa cuenta con una cocina seca y otra húmeda, totalmente equipadas con todo lo necesario. Para aquellos que quieran mantenerse en forma hay un gimnasio privado y hay una sala de estudio con una biblioteca de libros para aquellos que buscan un poco de tiempo tranquilo. El sistema de sonido Bose de 4 zonas, establece el ambiente adecuado en todos los espacios de vida de las villas, incluyendo el jardín. En la planta superior hay un salón de entretenimiento abierto con una enorme TV de pantalla plana con canales internacionales y altavoces de sonido envolvente.
Villa Shinta Dewi cuenta con mayordomos, criadas y guardias de seguridad. Hay servicio de lavandería gratuito y un servicio de transporte gratuito al centro de Ubud dos veces al día. Hay cunas, tronas y vallas para la piscina disponibles bajo petición.
Villa Shinta Dewi goza de una excelente ubicación, escondida en un tranquilo pueblo rural junto al río, pero a poca distancia en coche del centro cultural de Ubud y cerca de muchas actividades en los alrededores, como montar en elefante, hacer rafting o pasear en bicicleta por los arrozales esmeralda. En Ubud se puede oler algo de cultura, practicar yoga en el emblemático Yoga Barn y pasear por el Bosque de los Monos. Ubud cuenta con multitud de restaurantes y cafés saludables en los que tomarse un merecido descanso después de comprar en el mercado local de souvenirs o simplemente explorar el animado centro a pie.

8.4/10This villa had 5 girls jaws drop as we walked in! Everything was very clean, set up beautifully and had wonderful staff welcome us, help with bags and give us an introduction into the villa. The rooms are very nice with plenty of amenities, toiletries, sewing kits, fresh fruit, bottled water, soda waters etc! This may be due to the villa being under new management, which we were advised of on arrival. The staff served an amazing breakfast every morning, coffee and juice, fresh fruit, toast/pastries and a meal of your choice (eggs, pancakes, avo toast, Nasi goreng), this was amazing!! We arranged fo staff to cook us dinner one night and it was very yummy, would recommend this! The staff were always happy to help arrange drivers, activities and cleaned the rooms every morning. If we were going from the villa to the centre of town, the staff would drive us in their brand new car, very comfy! Very nice place to stay and it was nice knowing their was a security staff member out the front during the nights.

10/10What an incredible way to end our 3 week vacation in Asia. Wayan, Ayu and all the staff have been incredible, attentive, respectful, helpful,accommodating, and so friendly. The villa itself is stunning. my mom, husband and two adult daughters enjoyed every minute being here. it was hard for us to leave to experience the rest of Ubud. Which means we just have to come back. Thank you again for everything. much love.

We can't wait to come back and visit again, 5 adults in our group and we felt like we were Kings and Queens! So much space, easily room for a few more people. The staff really went above and beyond for us!

10/10This was the first time we stayed in a villa (as opposed to a hotel) and we were not disappointed. From the first moment Wayan (our fabulous manager) greeted us, we felt like kings. We didn't realise we would actually have staff at hand all day every day so this was a pleasant surprise! The rooms were lovely and worked really well with 3 couples and 1 toddler. One very large master bedroom and 2 fairly small but lovely double rooms, all had their own ensuite, tv's and minibar. The large sitting area upstairs was nice for watching a movie and the downstairs study/4th bedroom was good for my daughter to retreat to to watch a movie. The little gym in the corner is actually pretty good! Only used by the boys in the house but was a nice addition There are some yoga mats there also. The pool area is beautiful and inviting. It was a little frisk sometimes so the pool could have been a wee bit warmer but not a big deal. Wayan and the team were always there to help us with anything we needed. Catering wise, the breakfast that was prepared for us each day was fabulous, as was the other food we ordered. We were a bit dissapointed by the included Balinese BBQ only because everything was extremely spicy that no-one could actually eat it. Just ask them to cook a meal with no chilli or curry powder. We chose to eat out most of the time as Ubud has amazing restaurants but but when we decided to stay in, we got home delivery which the staff were at hand to order for us and clean up afterwards. They had a Sonos music system which was a lovely addition. The team: I can't rate them highly enough. They were there but never intrusive. Wayan was amazing. Our rooms were made up every day and the grounds kept immaculate. The only thing we could have benefited from is a bit more help planning our days. Having some organised day tours with our driver would have been great and a folder we could flick through with recommended restaurants, tours, and upcoming local events. Proximity to Ubud centre: This was one of our concerns when booking but it wasn't went we left. Our driver dropped us into Ubud when we needed and getting a taxi back was always easy and only cost $5. escaping to the quiet villa after all the traffic in town was lovely. Little tip: get Wayan to organise yoga classes for you. We had a teacher come to the villa twice and it was fabulous!! All in all, this was a great place to stay and I wouldnt hesitate booking again.
