En sánscrito, la palabra Kavya significa poesía. Al igual que un conjunto de versos magistralmente elaborados, Villa Kavya es una residencia de lujo magistralmente diseñada. Diseñada por el famoso arquitecto indonesio Sekar, la villa es una interpretación contemporánea de las estructuras y servicios tradicionales balineses. Sin embargo, incluso con estos toques modernos, se conserva la autenticidad de la experiencia de vivir en una isla tropical. Lo que más llama la atención es el equilibrio artístico entre la tierra y el agua, así como los espacios abiertos y el fuego decorativo. Realmente, en su arquitectura, diseño e interiores, Villa Kavya ha elevado la vida vacacional a la categoría de arte.

La villa tiene cuatro dormitorios. El amplio dormitorio principal ocupa todo el nivel superior y se abre a un balcón con vistas al jardín, la piscina y el paisaje lejano. Los tres dormitorios de la planta baja tienen una característica común interesante: duchas interiores con doble lavabo. Uno de estos dormitorios, sin embargo, se abre a una espaciosa terraza cubierta y amueblada justo al borde del césped. Aquí también pueden reunirse todos para tomar una copa después de la cena y mantener una acogedora conversación.

En el borde del extenso y cuidado césped se encuentran las dos piscinas de la villa: una de 17 metros y otra para niños. Separando las dos hay una bala que, en lugar del habitual colchón, tiene una hamaca de madera en la que puede tumbarse y dejarse arrullar por la cálida brisa. La zona de la piscina también tiene una terraza de madera con camas acolchadas donde se puede estirar y tomar el sol.
En un extremo del largo y espacioso pabellón central semiabierto se encuentra la zona de estar. Alrededor de los grandes sofás pueden reunirse todos para una animada interacción. A pocos pasos se encuentra la zona de comedor con un montaje que puede acoger cómodamente a ocho personas. Aquí se servirán y saborearán deliciosas y satisfactorias comidas, preparadas por el chef residente en la cocina ultramoderna y totalmente equipada. En el otro extremo del pabellón se encuentra la sala de televisión, que ofrece dos tipos de vistas: en la gran pantalla plana de televisión o a través del gran ventanal que da a la zona de la piscina.

Además del cocinero de la casa, el personal de la villa incluye asistentes de limpieza, jardineros, un asistente de piscina, un técnico y personal de seguridad. También se pone a su disposición un coche con chófer durante ocho horas cada día de su estancia.
From Villa Kavya, the beaches of Canggu aren't that far away. If saltwater swimming is your thing, there's Batu Balong. But if you're into surfing, head off to Echo or Mengening Beach. If you'd like to try out yoga, visit Serenity Eco Guesthouse or Desa Seni. You also must get a taste of the foodie scene. Must-try places are Deus Ex Machina and Crate. For cocktails or after-dinner drinks, check out Old Man's Bar at Old Man Beach or Sand Bar at Echo Beach.
9.6/10Villa Kavya was very spacious and the perfect way to end our Bali stay. Two families occupied the villa and there was plenty of room. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing stay. Wish we had stayed longer.

9.4/10The location of the villa ended up being extremely convenient to the best part a lot of amazing cafes and restaurants. FINNS beach club being within walking distance was a game changer! The villa itself came as advertised, with everything being very well maintained and staff always being available. Bagus the villa manager was very helpful and took care of everything. Highly recommend this villa and would definitely come back!
9.6/10Every meal prepared by Bagus wowed us! We had a BBQ for our last night, which was absolutely wonderful. The Villa is much more than expected. Highly recommend it for family get-to-gether. My only minor comment is the noise from the road. The staff is amazing!
10/10From the moment we arrived at this tranquil location we knew it was going to be special. The staff were extremely helpful and welcomed us like family. The sprawling villa is extremely impressive and very hard to leave. Being only ten minutes away from the buzzing streets of Seminyak was perfect as we felt relaxed, but close enough to head to the shops for some retail therapy. Perfect for families and friends who want to relax and enjoy the best Bali has to offer. The bedrooms are all wonderful and the outdoor bathrooms divine. I would recommend this villa to everyone and anyone and will be back soon. The only negative is that we had the villa for the first week of our holiday and that the next hotel we stayed at was never going to live up to the "Villa Kavya experience". Thank you to all of the wonderful staff including Gusti to the incredible chef and Bagus, Wayan the driver who was extremely accommodating and helpful and the lovely Melan. Sorry if I missed anyone.
9.2/10we really enjoyed our stay with Kavya. Big and clean pool, plenty of space for 8 of us. Having in house chef is a real treat, we love the chef cooking. Staffs are discreet and readily available to tend to our needs. Thanks to the villa crew who made our stay so enjoyable.
10/10One of the most beautiful contemporary and comfortable place that I’ve ever stayed. Bagus made us very special and tasty dishes. He was very innovative with magical fingers. Loved every meal in villa. General Staff was an excellent manager always trying to help us and make everything very convenience. A pleasant smile and a lovely person. Excellent Staff, Good Food, Excellent Villa. We would like to stay here again.

9.6/10Dear Dian. Sorry for the slow reply but been very busy. We would love to say that we really thought that the staff were great and very good and kind. The food by Ketut was really good and we loved all our meals. The villa was always clean. the only thing that it could do was for a better equipped (pots , kettle etc) as Its nice when the staff are not there to make your tea and coffee and if you have small kids to cook for them as we would wake early, and also if you are going for family's with kids to also get better equipped (toys,Etc) thats all and we really enjoyed the villa Kavya. thank you to all the staff and your help.
