The first bedroom will greet you on the righthand side with beautifully painted double doors under a traditional arched doorway. This air conditioned bedroom boasts a king size bed in its center, one that can be transformed into two singles upon request. Wrapped in white mosquito netting for protection, the bed is bordered by a set of bedside tables and lamps for reading comfortably at night, while in the corner is an traditional daybed for lounging in the room outside of bed. In the other corner lies a flat screen TV atop a beautiful antique wooden desk. Through curtains on the side of the room is a spacious walk-in wardrobe with hanging space, drawers and a safety box for keeping your belongings safe during your stay. After passing through the dressing room you will find an en-suite bathroom set in a covered, outdoor garden. Enjoy taking a hot rinse under the rain shower to experience island living at its best. This bathroom also features double sink basins, an ornately carved mirror, WC and water dispenser.
The second air conditioned bedroom can be found further down the villa's open-air hallway on the other side of the communal living and dining space. This room also features a king-size bed with mosquito netting in the middle, this one limited to the solo configuration unlike the first bedrooms' two single options. In the lefthand corner is a large flatscreen TV with satellite channels and a DVD player resting on a short dresser with three drawers. The combination of tasteful wood furnishings, an Asian elephant wall hanging and window shutters in all four corners creates a bright and welcoming bedroom ambience for guests to relax in. Similar to the first room, one must walk through a dressing room before entering the outdoor, en-suite bathroom. However, this bathroom is equipped with a deluxe bathtub and rain shower covered by a four-poster gazebo. Surrounded by towering palm fronds, stone carvings and overgrown greenery, we assure you this bathing environment is one of the top highlights of Villa Gembira.

For those keen on pool lounging their way through the duration of their Bali holiday, the villa's straw hut bale provides just the perfect setting to do so. Located just steps from the pool's edge, this shaded gazebo and its full-sized cushions, pillows and mini table is properly suited for pool bums of all degrees. An additional two reclining chairs and Balinese umbrella are also available for you to soak up the island's warm, tropical sunshine.
When you've gotten enough pool time, you can congregate together in the villa's living room that is open on two sides to let in the natural air and cross breeze. This open-concept space is furnished with a plush, L-shaped sofa overlooking the garden's green ivy wall and koi fish pond. Villa Gembira enjoys a quiet location, tucked away in a peaceful gangway behind the upcoming Batu Belig Street. A short walk will bring you to the beautiful beach of Batu Belig, much quieter than neighboring Seminyak and Canggu. Excellent restaurants near the villa include Sardine and La Finca. For a great healthy lunch head to Watercress Cafe or Nook. The center of Seminyak is just a short drive away. You can even walk there if you feel like exploring the surroundings.

Villa was fantastic, morning breakfast was tasty and the freshly made juice was great too ! Only 10 mins walking to beach from the Villa and very near Main Street as well. Overall experience is fantastic and I will definitely contact Villa Finder to arrange my next trip to Bali!
8.6/10The villa is lovely - very clean and spacious with a nice pool area too. The beach is only a short walk away too, which was appreciated. The staff at Villa Gembira are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them, whether this is arranging massages in the villa, booking taxis or arranging laundry services. Villa Gembira is midway between Seminyak and Kuta so each of these areas are easily accessible. So you can have the tourist areas as well as an insight into "real Bali" in the immediate vicinity of the villa if you want it. Breakfast is included in the price of the villa. Whilst this was tasty, it was the same each of the four days we were there. Had we been there longer, then I think we would have got fed up of eggs and bacon each morning, and would have been looking for more variety but I suspect that this could have been had we accommodated, had we asked. All in all a very nice villa in a good location.

9.6/10Our family experience was amazing. The airport pickup and transfer was seamless, and when we arrived at the Villa the staff were amazing. The staff cook beautiful Aussie breakfasts along with amazing fresh fruit juice that started our day brilliantly. We had an awesome Mexican dinner with our group of friends at Jalapenos, and excellent luck at The Social. When we just wanted to eat in, Hog Wild (only 400 m away) delivered brilliant food through the Grab app. The Villa concierge made our booking and airport transfers so easy, we could not recommend Villa Gambira any higher!

Sincerely, you can go there with your eyes closed and I will come back without hesitation if I come back on this beautiful island. Do not change anything !
10/10We have absolutely loved our stay here at Villa Gembira in Seminyak! Beautiful spacious area for 3 of us girls is exactly the holiday we needed. We had two massive bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms, kitchen, enormous outdoor living area and our own private pool. It is incredible to be so close to everything we want - walking distance to the beach, restaurants, stores, massage places and Mari Beach Club, yet still have such a nice quiet, peaceful resort to come back to. The staff are beautiful, they prepare a lovely breakfast for us daily and kept our areas clean and tidy throughout our stay. We have loved every minute of it here and will definitely be returning. Recommend to anyone wanting to travel to Seminyak, Bali! Thank you to all the staff and Sofi (agency manager) for being so helpful!

10/10We had the most amazing stay at Villa Gembira. From the moment we arrived it was like our own private oasis. Beautifully clean and spacious with beautiful furnishings, every thing was more than expected. The staff were simply amazing, nothing was too much bother, beautiful breakfasts with fresh fruit and juices every day and cleaned and tidied up to perfection every day. Pool and garden were divine and a wonderful place to relax. And a quiet place to retreat to after the busyness of Seminyak and day trips out. Loved everything about it, will definitely return. Spent a lot of evenings staying in local area, Cantina and Il Lido on the beach were particular favourites to see sun set and food good and incredible value. Also loved Watercress and the Poke Bowl place. Had a fab driver who took us on day trips. Used Bluebird taxis to get to Kuta, Double 6, etc. Highly recommended, was a fantastic fortnight experience.

Delicious breakfast prepared everyday by Fabri and Kadek. We are coming back for sure! It is an impeccably kept and very clean villa and lovely bed linens and the most beautiful gardens kept by Made the gardener.

10/10Villa Gembira is a beautiful balinese house with all the comfort and services you need. Located in a very quiet area but close to everything. The swimming pool is just so nice and we enjoyed the gazebo. All the staff is so helpful and wonderful nice person. We loved every moment at the villa. its really a place to go!!!
10/10This is the most beautiful villa we have stayed in, the garden is amazing and the rooms are spacy and comfortable. The outdoors surrounding is spectacular and well looked after. 8.6/10We had a lovely stay, however far too short, we were sad to leave. It is a oasis to come back to after a busy day in the hustle and bustle. Our kids especially loved the koi pond and the pool. Only drawback for us was that with small children the bedrooms were not adjacent and we didnt feel safe letting them sleep alone on one of the bedrooms. Also handy to note that when telling taxi location which Villa Gembira it is.
10/10The bedroom was spacious and well appointed with a huge bed, tv and DVD, air con and a lovely bathroom. The kitchen was great with everything you need. The kitchen staff were fantastic and even made us dinner when we requested it. The pool was awesome as was the bali hut where we lazed after having a swim. Lovely gardens and a beautiful pond where you can sit and watch the large Koi fish for hours. All in all the best place I have stayed in while holidaying in Bali and this was my 8th trip to the island. Well done to all concerned. We will be back and thanks again. Mark and Sonia
8.4/10We had an amazing holiday in Bali. The villa was stunning and the the staff couldn't do enough for us. The villa is in a great location only 10 minutes walk to the beach. There is a good variety of restaurants nearby and we especially liked Warung Sabat which was fantastic value for money. We will definitely be coming again.
10/10Wow there's lots of good times here. They organised bikes and beer on arrival, the place was spotless.They made a breakfast for us at times we slept in but they were happy to accommodate. The swimming pool was great and had shade and full sun at the right times. A quick stroll iff your walking to bars etc. I would recommend this spot.. Talking of going there in October..

10/10We had a lovely stay at Villa Gembira and the villa provided a real haven for us after long days out. The kids loved the pool which was perfectly situated at the back of the villa with lovely stones leading to the raised Balinese lounge area too. The maids were really friendly and cooked breakfast for us everyday - bacon and egg which the kids really enjoyed. Most of all, we loved the location. Batubelig is situated a little further out of Seminyak but for us it was perfect - quiet, sophisticated with some beautiful restaurants nearby (our favourite being Watercress - a real treat and a short 3 minute walk from the villa) We also loved the french patisserie on the main street in Batubelig who make the best cream puffs! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone, the bedrooms were beautiful with air con and large comfy beds, whilst the outdoor bathrooms were a real treat. The only point to note is that the two bedrooms are quite far apart so if you're travelling with younger kids, they might be a little wary, although the villa is extremely secure and we felt safe at all times. We are looking forward to revisiting Bali in the future and are considering Villa Senang (the larger villa) next door which sleeps 10. Our recent stay has given us lovely memories for life!
8/10Lovely and quiet stay at Villa Gembira. Villa staff were helpful and friendly. The villa is not in a very accessible location but its just a 7min walk away (through some shortcuts!) from some great eating places like Naughty Nuri's and Watercress. I travelled with 2 very young kids and they throughly enjoyed the pool and even loved feeding the fish in the villa's pond. The villa is not new but they take care of the grounds and if anything isn't working they will get right to fixing it. Throughly enjoyed myself and will recommend a stay here for a relaxing getaway.
