At about two and a half hours from Changi, Bali is one of the easiest holidays from Singapore. It works for a long weekend, the June holidays or a family reunion. A private villa in Bali makes the most of the time: your own pool, room for everyone and no crowded hotel lobby.
Bali Villa Finder helps you find the right villa rental in Bali for your trip, not just any villa. Our team in Singapore and Bali knows the island well. Tell us your dates, who's coming and what you'd like nearby, and we'll send a shortlist with prices in Singapore dollars (SGD). You can read what past guests say on Google (4.9) and Trustpilot (4.8).
A villa gives you a whole home: several bedrooms, a kitchen, a garden and a private pool. Three generations can holiday together without sharing a corridor, and the children can swim while the adults relax. Many villas have staff who clean daily and can cook on request.
Travelling with young children? Ask about pool fences, cots and high chairs, and we'll check before you book. Planning a trip with friends or several families? We'll show you which bedrooms have their own bathroom and how much shared space there is. Just the two of you? We'll find somewhere quiet and private for a short escape.
We inspect villas in person and turn down 77% of the ones we visit. We only keep homes we'd trust for our own families: safe, well maintained and honestly described. We work directly with owners and managers, so the villa you arrive at is the one you booked.
There are over 1,000 Bali villas to choose from, from beachfront homes in Canggu and Seminyak to jungle villas in Ubud and Tabanan and clifftop villas in Uluwatu and Nusa Dua. All come with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a private pool. On a short trip, we'll suggest areas that keep driving time low.
Seminyak. A good pick for a short break: restaurants, shopping and beach clubs close together, and one of the easier drives from the airport. Expect it to be busy.
Ubud. Rice terraces, jungle and Balinese culture, with temples, art markets and the Tegalalang Rice Terrace nearby. Cooler and calmer, and a popular choice for wellness and yoga.
Canggu. A relaxed surf town with cafés, beach bars and rice fields. Good for groups of friends and families with teenagers who want a bit of life nearby.
Uluwatu. Dramatic clifftop villas on the Bukit Peninsula, close to surf breaks, Uluwatu Temple and white-sand beaches. Clifftop restaurants make it a favourite for celebrations.
Lovina. The quiet north coast, with black-sand beaches, snorkelling close to shore and sunrise dolphin trips. Best on a longer stay, as it's further from the airport. Explore our Lovina villas for a quieter coastal escape.
Bali's dry season runs from April to October and is usually sunniest and driest from June to August. It covers the June school holidays and the September break, which are popular weeks for Singapore families, so book early if your dates are fixed.
November to March is the wet season, with tropical showers that often pass quickly. It's greener and calmer, and it includes the year-end school holidays and Chinese New Year. Check when Nyepi, the Balinese Day of Silence, falls (usually March), because the airport closes for 24 hours.
The dry season, April to October, has the most sunshine, especially June to August, and covers the June and September school holidays. The wet season, November to March, brings tropical showers and green landscapes, and it can be a good choice for the year-end holidays or a Chinese New Year break.
There are several direct flights a day from Changi to Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), taking about two and a half hours. Singapore passport holders can visit visa-free for up to 30 days, but this visa-free stay cannot be extended.
You'll need a passport valid for at least six months, a return or onward ticket, and the mandatory All Indonesia arrival declaration, which can be completed within 72 hours before arrival. Bali also charges a tourism levy of IDR 150,000 per person, subject to applicable exemptions. We can have a driver waiting at arrivals, with child seats if needed.
Bali is generally safe and welcoming to families. Look after your belongings in crowded places and swim only where it's safe, as some beaches have strong currents. You can also eRegister with Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs before you travel. The Villa Finder concierge service can arrange trusted drivers, guides and babysitters.
Check with your GP or a travel clinic about vaccinations, and get travel insurance. Drink bottled or properly filtered water and take care when choosing street food. With children, we can stock familiar snacks and arrange English-speaking doctors if needed.
There's no MRT, and traffic can be slow. Scooters are common but not ideal with children. A private car and driver is one of the most comfortable options and usually good value. We can book one for a single outing or your whole stay.
Nusa Dua has calm water and wide beaches. Sanur is quiet and has shallow beaches for toddlers. Ubud is great for culture and nature, but less easy with a stroller. Seminyak and Canggu have lively food scenes, though their beaches suit older children or confident swimmers. Share your children's ages and we'll recommend villas.
The Ubud Monkey Forest, Waterbom Bali in Kuta, snorkelling or a glass-bottom boat at Nusa Lembongan, a Balinese dance show and the Tegalalang Rice Terrace are family favourites. On a short trip, we'll help you pick two or three that are close to your villa.
For families and groups, a private villa in Bali usually gives you more space and privacy: several bedrooms, your own pool and living areas where everyone can gather. Many villas include daily housekeeping and staff on site. Some include breakfast, and many can arrange a chef for other meals.
Yes. These are among the extras families ask for most, and they work well together: the chef prepares dinner while the babysitter looks after the children. We also arrange in-villa spa treatments, yoga, birthday set-ups and floating breakfasts.
Think about who's coming. Young families often want a fenced pool, baby equipment and a single-storey layout. Three-generation trips need en-suite bedrooms, and sometimes a room for a helper. Groups of friends want a large dining area and space to socialise. Tell us your group and we'll shortlist villas we've inspected.
Our team is available 7 days a week to step in, whether that's the Wi-Fi, the pool or a change of plans. Because Bali shares Singapore's time zone, you can message us during your normal day.
Prices are shown in Singapore dollars (SGD) and depend on the villa's size, location and season. A three-bedroom villa with a private pool can sometimes cost less than three hotel rooms. Stays of up to a month are welcome, depending on availability.
We focus on holiday stays, not long-term leases. Deposit, payment and cancellation terms vary by villa, and we'll explain them clearly when you enquire.
Yes. The short flight makes Bali one of the easier trips with little ones. We can arrange a cot, high chair and pool fence on request, subject to availability, plus experienced babysitters. We'll also book cars with child seats and point you to calm beaches and child-friendly restaurants.
Bali uses two-pin Type C and F sockets, so bring an adapter for three-pin plugs, or ask us to leave one in the villa. Our villas have Wi-Fi. Local SIM cards and eSIMs with data are inexpensive, or check your Singapore plan's roaming options.
Common mistakes include booking during Nyepi, the Balinese Day of Silence, when the airport closes; trying to see too much on a short trip and losing hours in traffic; skipping travel insurance; and choosing a villa without checking it's child-friendly. Our team can help you plan around all of these.
