One of the villas that forms part of the Villa Jabunami complex, Villa Tomok is a cluster of three pavilions that epitomize contemporary tropical design. Interiors are appointed with predominantly modern, finely finished wood furnishings combined with a few ornate as well as woven wood pieces. Amenities are undeniably five star – to ensure all-out guest delight and fun. Nestled amidst Canggu’s famed rice terraces, Villa Tomok presents to you stylish vacation living with a truly countryside and rustic air.
The villa has three bedrooms. Two of these bedrooms are in two stand-alone pavilions. Both have king-sized beds and dedicated, semi-open bathrooms with bathtubs and outdoor rain showers. Both bedrooms also open out to the swimming pool. One other bedroom is on the second level of the main pavilion. This bedroom has twin beds and a dedicated bathroom with a rain shower. This bedroom also opens out to a balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the picturesque rice terraces.

At the center of the property’s exterior is the seven-meter swimming pool. Plunge into its beckoning, glassy waters for some aimless wading, or for some splashy play. For some sun, lounge on woven wood pool beds and bean bags on the poolside wooden deck. But when the temperature rises, withdraw to the shade of the bale at the far end of the swimming pool, and doze off on the soft mattress, lulled by the whispers of the cool tropical wind.
On the main pavilion’s breezy, semi-open ground level is the living area with its cushioned, ornate wooden bench and reclining chairs facing a widescreen TV. Here, you can all assemble for the highly-anticipated new episode of the latest blockbuster series. Or, to watch, once again, your all-time favorite classic film. Behind the wooden bench is the dining area. On its round, wooden table that can accommodate six, you can all have your fill of authentic local cuisine – as well as foreign fare – served up by the resident chef from the fully-equipped, modern kitchen beside the dining area.
Assigned to attend to the day-to-day services of the villa is an efficient staff headed by a manager backed by a personal guest assistant, a housekeeper, a chef, a pool attendant, a gardener and a security corps. Upon your request, a babysitter, a driver, a laundry helper and a spa therapist may be called in. However, their services come with a separate charge. Scooter and car rentals are also available.
Villa Tomok is located in Canggu. Just a few minutes by car from the villa is Pantai Batu Mejan or more popularly called Echo Beach. Acknowledged as one of Bali’s surfing hotspots, Echo Beach has a marvelous seascape, mouth-watering seafood and a magnificent sunset. Must-try dining places are Sticky Fingers, Osteria Italiana, Sate Bali, Dian Café and Echo Beach House – all offering barbecues and boat-shaped buffets. A must-see attraction is Tanah Lot – a centuries-old, sea temple carved out of rock. You may also want to the try your hand at a round of golf on the 18-hole course of the Nirwana Golf Club which winds through rice paddies and scenic, seaside cliffs.
10/10We had a wonderful stay at Villa Tomok - the villa was perfect for our group with plenty of space to hang out and beautiful bedrooms (the bathroom in our room was So spacious and pretty) The staff were wonderful, very accomodating and able to help with all of our requests. Breakfast was amazing, too much food for us to eat which we felt guilty about but it was all delicious... We enjoyed dinner at Lacalita our first night - would highly recommend! The only thing we found was that we couldn't walk anywhere other than the convenience store around the corner we had to organise transport to get everywhere but that was made easy by the Villa staff! Will definitely stay here again!
10/10My Boyfriend and I were travelling to Bali with my Sister and we wanted to stay somewhere amazing and Jabunami came highly recommended by a friend. And it certainly didn't let us down. From the moment we were picked up by our driver, Ade, he greeted and welcomed us to Bali. The friendly and helpful service did not end there as we arrived at the Villa Made, the manager, showed us to our Villa that had a stunning pool overlooking the rice paddy fields, a living room and fully equipped kitchen. It was certainly the idyllic location we had been imagining. On our first day there Made helped us to decide where to go for some lunch and continued to help us over the rest of our stay with planning trips with Ade all over Bali. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the different places and activities that Bali has to offer and was an invaluable resource for us. Due to the location of the Villa I highly recommend using the driver service as it makes getting around a lot easier and you can explore more of Bali. Made and his team ensured that we always had a good supply of water and towels in the car and equipped for the days activities. Every morning we started our day with a gorgeous breakfast of tea, coffee and fresh fruit, which was accompanied by a main dish that changed daily. The Mie Goreng and Nasai Goreng became our favourite dish, spicy noodles and rice are a great way to to start the day. We also organised to have a BBQ at Jabunami and it was incredible! Made and his team prepared fish, tiger prawns, pork, beef, chicken, corn, potato salad and rice. Everything was cooked to perfection. The great thing about breakfast and dinner at the villa was it was scheduled to a time that suited us. No missing breakfast because it finishes at 10:00 am! Another service that is offered at the Villa is massage, you can choose from a list of several companies that will come to Villa and provide you with a soothing and relaxing massage. We did this on our last day and it certainly soothed our aching muscles after surfing and white water rafting activities we had done previous on days. The Villa is magnificent, a beautiful and tranquil place to relax, a fun place to jump and splash in the pool, enjoy great food and fantastic service. If we ever get the chance to return to Bali we will most certainly return to Jabunami Villa.
10/10WE had a fantastic time staying at Jabunami with our family of four. The place was nicely kept, very clean, and the service was fantastic. Everything from airport pickup to daily breakfast went very smoothly - also we were delighted with the FANTASTIC multi-course dinner prepared one night for us and some friends poolside. Highly recommended.
10/10No doubt it was just a short stay of 2 nights, my family and I had a wonderful time in Jabunami Villa. Made and his team were all very friendly and helpful. What surprises me, of all the travels that I experienced even though not a lot, is the initiative of Made to help look after my 2 little ones while we have a good and nice breakfast prepared by Made and his team. He was very patient in playing and entertaining my kids and seriously I know how mischievous they can be. Two thumbs up for Made!!> And surprises just keeps appearing. Knowing that we enjoyed the pool with our kids on the very first day when we arrived. Without asking, the very next morning, we saw an additional float in the pool (we actually only brought one and both my kids are kinda of taking turns to use it) which he prepared and inflated for the kids to use. How sweet is that! Not only does Jabunami have good team to assist and serve us, what surrounds it are vast pieces of padi field. Every morning, the cool breeze that brushes over my face makes me feel real fresh and energized. This is probably why my wife chooses this Villa over the others even though it doesnt have nearby shopping streets which you will usually see along Kuta or Ubud center. Its a place for family gatherings with ample sleeping space, with kitchen and living hall to use. Its a great place to sit back and relax without the bustling city noises and only the melodies of cicada.
9.2/10One of our friends advised us to book this villa. It was a great choice. Very nice location in the middle of the rice field, excellent service.
9.2/10My family had a wonderful time in Bali and the stay at the villa was fantastic. No complains but alot of compliments only especially for the wonderful people they've hired. We will certainly look forward to return to Jabunami again soon. Meanwhile, I've given my strong recommendation to my colleagues and friends and told them how enjoyable the stay was. Good job everyone.....keep it up. Special thanks to Gusto. He is a wonderful cook. My family enjoyed his cooking very much and we're still talking about it. Wishing you all the best till we meet again
