With a stunning white wall facade that paints a picture of elegance and minimalism, the new Villa Formentera evokes these and more that makes guests feel classy and surreal at the same time. Located in high-end Seminyak, Bali, the surroundings are serene and exclusive, free of any noise that makes the villa a haven for guests. While a sensuous swimming pool also defines part of its outdoors, the interiors are made up of well-appointed, tasteful and superb furniture and furnishings that carry a contemporary and almost Meditteranean vibe throughout. The total space is about 200 sq meters within a 3-acres piece of land that allow for ample spots to rejuvenate, chill and kick back.
The 3 bedrooms of the villa can accommodate up to 6 guests. The rooms are furnished in a stunning cross between Marakkesh and Meditteranean-styled decor, with lots of statement pieces to enhance the space and where no one room looks the same as the other, each with their own personality. There are also 3 bathrooms with 4 toilets, one of it being a guest toilet.

The outdoors consist of a most alluring swimming pool that would entice you for a dip or swim during long summer days. It also has a pretty terrace or veranda, furnished with a long blue outdoor sofa furniture and framed by cactuses and selected plants for Instagram-worthy poses.
Inside the villa, guests would find pleasure within its sumptuous living space or dining hall decked with the most stylish or gorgeous lights, furniture, and other decors. A wooden slab of dining table is possibly one of the most striking features that guests would notice. The contemporary, fully-equipped, open space kitchen is another masterclass on its own with all the appliances and amenities that guests could ask for to whip up their own tasting servings throughout.
The staff at Villa Formentera would go all out to accommodate and cater to guests’ needs. For those who have young toddlers with them, fret not as there are baby cots and high chairs available upon request. There are also complimentary WiFi connectivity and safety box for your convenience.
Guests would be pleased to know that the Bintang Supermarket is just within a 3-minute walking distance which ensures the needs for grocery shopping. The villa is also located about a mile away from Gado Gado Beach, making it very accessible for beach enthusiasts. One of the awesome restaurants close by is Ryoshi Seminyak for your dining out option.
9/10To our delight the villa is exactly as pictured which is amazing. We spent 4 nights there and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The concierge and cleaning services were fantastic. It is in a quiet location however the flip side to that is that it is tucked away in one of the many alleys which can be issue when tracking down a car but only a 5 minute walk to the main strip.
10/10We have just finished an 8 day stay at Villa Formentera. Our experience in this villa was absolutely spectacular! We arrived in the evening and walked into a stunning sight. The pool, the outdoor living areas all lit up with lovely warm lighting and even bigger and more spacious than the photos. This is one of the places I have stayed where I can say the pictures do not do it justice, even though the photos are beautiful. The villa was extremely well equipped, very very quiet location even though right off the Main Street where you can find anything you need within walking distance. The villa staff were responsive, helpful and kept the villa extremely clean. There were only two of us but with 3 huge bedrooms with walk in ensuites in all this place could easily accommodate 6 guests without feeling like you are on top of each other. We spent all our time by the pool or at the stunning table chilling out and listening to music. A perfect option for any family or friends who want a luxurious peaceful stay in Seminyak, while still being close to everything Bali has to offer. I can not speak highly enough of this villa we actually wanted to extend but it was booked out!

8/10The villa is beautifully decorated and offered the perfect layout for our small family (1 child and 1 toddler) with the upstairs bedrooms. The housekeeper Wayan was also lovely and helpful. Our stay was also very easy logistically thanks to Sari from the concierge team. She was very responsive and managed to accommodate exactly what we needed. Our stay was a lovely one. We will be back! Small points of improvement, it would be great to have blockout blinds upstairs as it gets bright very quickly in the bedrooms. Also basic cooking necessities (salt pepper etc) and new saucepans would help. The current ones are pretty outdated.

10/10The villa was just gorgeous and perfect to relax particularly around the pool. All the bedrooms are enormous and create an atmosphere of boho chic. Great location, nice and quiet but literally everything you need from restaurants to shopping to super market around the corner. Overall a great stay!
10/10Love Villa Formentera - stayed in October 2022 and October 2023 and likely to stay again! Perfect for travelling with friends with plenty of space to be together or be apart. Quiet laneway but only minutes walk to the hustle & bustle of Seminyak - easy walk to many cafes, Bintang Supermarket and slightly longer walk to Oberoi Street and the beach. Staff available when needed, attentive & helpful. Recommended!!
8.2/10We have absolutely loved every second of our stay at villa formentera. Fabulous location, short walk to lots of shopping and restaurants, and not far from the beach. In a quiet alley way so super quiet, which is exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommended this to anyone who is looking for a beautiful, quiet place to stay, not far from all the best that Seminyak has to offer!

Hidden away in Seminyak laneways in a great location, walking distance to my fav breakfast spot the brunch club and dinner spot bo and bun.. also walking distance to great stores (six and out) for quality shoes) ask Larry what’s up.. Jumping in the huge pool every morning straight out of bed was absolutely beautiful.. although it’s busy in Seminyak you can relax here with no noise what so ever! The staff were lovely and accomodating.. it’s also filled with everything you need to cook for yourself and friends/family if you want to stay in and enjoy the villa.. I will 100% be booking this villa again when I’m back next year!! Thanks again
