Villa Alea is a contemporary Balinese-style villa mixing traditional Javanese Joglo architecture and chic interior design facing the green rice paddies of Kerobokan – ideal for a family or a group of friends. It’s the perfect choice if you’re looking to be away from the central hustle and bustle. And if you're up for some action, the center of Seminyak, with its famous shops, restaurants and beaches, is just a short drive away.
Bathroom with outdoor bathtub
The large fanned and air-conditioned master bedroom is located in a stand-alone pavilion and boasts both pool and rice field views. Picture elegant ivory, black and specks of red for the bed runner and cushions covering a king-sized bed with white linens wrapped in a towering canopy mosquito net. The en-suite bathroom boasts double-sinks, rain-shower, a huge outdoor stone bathtub and wardrobe space with complimentary bathrobes and a safety deposit box.
The four other bedrooms are in a double storey pavilion with two rooms on the first floor and two rooms on the second floor that can be accessed via an outdoor stairway. Each room is individually decorated with a unique mix of Asian-influenced antique and contemporary furniture. All of the bedrooms have king size beds with intricately carved wooden headboards, white mosquito netting, pristine white linens covered with cushions, AC, fan, and safety deposit boxes. In the en-suite bathroom, you will find a single sink, WC and shower alcove styled in grey-blue tiles. Both rooms on the first floor have views of the 15 meter swimming pool.
15 x 4 m
Running the length of the villa's garden is a beautiful 15 meter swimming-pool, flanked by a row of four sun chairs at the top of the pool and another two located behind the master room pavilion. Facing these two sunbeds is a traditional balé for reading or a shaded siesta in between refreshing dips in the pool.
The lofty open air living area, boasts an impressive wooden prayer beads chandelier hanging high above a single slab wooden dining table with Eames chairs where up to ten people can enjoy having their meals together. You’ll have different lounging options at Villa Alea. Choose between sinking into the over-sized grey sofa piled with soft cushions at the center of the pavilion or chill-out with a cocktail in one of the comfy daybeds located in the front, while gazing at the sparkling pool and watching the sunset over the green rice paddies. If you’ve got some R&R to catch-up on, then ease yourself into the cozy chaise lounge, switch on the floating white arc lamp hanging above and grab your favorite book.
The closed kitchen next to the dining area is fully equipped with everything you need including a double sink, cooking stove and a large refrigerator.

10/10What an incredible way to spend my 40th birthday. This place is amazing. Kadek and the staff were always there to help. So attentive. The food was absolutely amazing, start to finish. Thank you for all your hospitality. We will be back - Melissa, Family and Friend
9.8/10We stayed at Villa Alea to host a Fitness and Yoga Retreat. We hired both Villas, Villa Alea and Aloui and the villas were outstanding! We loved how spacious the place was and how many different nooks it had to get comfortable and cozy. The service was very good and the people were so lovely ! Whenever we asked do rose thing they were out and about to make it happen! The location is a bit tucked away from Seminyak and Canggu which was perfect for our purpose. It felt peaceful and the view on the rice field paddies is amazing. On some days when we needed to grab a gojek car to get to place it took bit longer to catch a driver because of that, it we were always able to get one. The breakfast needed a little bit of guidance and tweaking but was spot on for the last days. The dinner unfortunately didn’t meet our expectations- and we decided to outsource and eat out. We definitely will be back, we loved it so much!
10/10We had the most amazing time staying at Villa Alea. Your hospitality: kindness, cooking, cleaning, child-minding, and general care was exceptional. Thank you for everything! We will be back to stay again soon :)
10/10We had an incredible stay at the villa. Kadek (Villa Manager) was so welcoming. The villa staff such as gardener, housekeeping, etc were fantastic and kept the villa immaculate throughout our stay. One thing to note is the security deposit has to be paid in cash - this would have been good to know upfront as here is no credit card facility.
10/10Nine of us stayed at Villa Alea and we all really enjoyed our time here. Ibu Kadek was very friendly and always available to help us with any of our requests. I will recommend this villa to any future friends visiting Bali. Thank you!
9.4/10Villa Alea is absolutely stunning. The setting took my breath away when I arrived - the photos don’t do it justice. It is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The location is good to see lots of tourist attractions or get to the beach. And the staff are so attentive, helpful and kind. The ladies who looked after us were also superb cooks, serving delicious meals whenever we wanted. I can’t recommend this villa enough.

10/10A Dream Week at Villa Alea: A Slice of Paradise in Kerokoban, Bali I recently had the pleasure of spending a blissful week at Villa Alea in Kerokoban, Bali, and I cannot express how truly magical my experience was. Her culinary expertise was unparalleled, and each meal was a delectable journey through the flavors of Bali. 8.8/10We celebrated our wedding at Villa Alea and Villa Aloui in April 2023. We spent a total of four nights in the accommodation with our friends and family. The Villa was very well maintained and beautifully decorated. The pool had a lot of shade, which was really appreciated by the guests. The garden was very well maintained, and the bedrooms tastefully designed and spacious. The service we received from command the on-duty Villa manager was incredible. She helped us with everything we needed, and cooks delicious meals for us.
