9.8/10We stayed at Villa Alea to host a Fitness and Yoga Retreat. We hired both Villas, Villa Alea and Aloui and the villas were outstanding! We loved how spacious the place was and how many different nooks it had to get comfortable and cozy. The service was very good and the people were so lovely ! Whenever we asked do rose thing they were out and about to make it happen! The location is a bit tucked away from Seminyak and Canggu which was perfect for our purpose. It felt peaceful and the view on the rice field paddies is amazing. On some days when we needed to grab a gojek car to get to place it took bit longer to catch a driver because of that, it we were always able to get one. The breakfast needed a little bit of guidance and tweaking but was spot on for the last days. The dinner unfortunately didn’t meet our expectations- and we decided to outsource and eat out. We definitely will be back, we loved it so much!
10/10We had an incredible stay at the villa. Kadek (Villa Manager) was so welcoming. The villa staff such as gardener, housekeeping, etc were fantastic and kept the villa immaculate throughout our stay. One thing to note is the security deposit has to be paid in cash - this would have been good to know upfront as here is no credit card facility.

9.4/10Villa Alea is absolutely stunning. The setting took my breath away when I arrived - the photos don’t do it justice. It is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The location is good to see lots of tourist attractions or get to the beach. And the staff are so attentive, helpful and kind. The ladies who looked after us were also superb cooks, serving delicious meals whenever we wanted. I can’t recommend this villa enough.

The staff is very friendly and keeps the property in pristine condition. It's my second time staying at Villa Alea, both times staying for a month each. I would go back and stay here again.

9.6/10On arrival at Villa Alea we were greeted by Butu her staff and a cold refreshing drink. Very grateful after a hot Bali welcome. Right from the start we felt welcomed and nothing was to difficult to arrange for Butu Villa Service Manager. The Villa was perfect for a country family not wishing to stay amongst the noise and fast pace of Kuta. We were close enough to visit but could escape to tranquility. The food prepared for us was amazing. Butu helped us with much including medication for the few of us who unfortunately got a head cold. I would certainly recommend Villa Alea to anyone. Congratulations to Butu snd her staff for a very memorable hokiday experience
10/10We spent 4 nights at Villa Alea and enjoyed every second! It was a truly unforgettable experience and was everything I hoped it would be and more. The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. I celebrated my 50th Birthday at the villa and it was absolutely perfect. The rooms were immaculate and the grounds and pool were impeccable. We will definitely be coming back. Everyone in our group loved their time at Villa Alea.

9.6/10We spent 5 wonderful days at Villa Alea with 2 families including 5 kids aged 6 to 13. The setting is fantastic with views on the rice fields, super quiet, areas to relax and for the kids to play. The villa is beautiful with tasteful decoration. Service was great with Putu taking care of all our demands, excellent cooking. She also helped coordinating a sure lesson for the whole family which was fantastic. The villa is just a short ride to Seminyak and nearby beaches (traffic dependant though). We are all dreaming of going back!
9/10Villa Alea was the perfect choice for our family of 8 adults and three little ones. Villa manager Putu went out of her way to accommodate our every need and her staff were both friendly and discreet. Putu organised everything from in villa massages (these were fantastic) to meals and transport with everything running like clockwork- a real credit to her. Rooms were super comfortable - our baby slept like a dream the whole time as the rooms - especially the master were cool, dark and netted. The villa and garden was kept lovely and clean throughout the entire stay.

The rooms are very nice, and the Joglo as common space is beautiful and really warm, we felt at home. We all enjoyed the kindness and professionalism of the staff, special mention to the cooker !! 10/10Travelled with group of friends with kids. Villa Alea was perfect for us to have quality time with kids and close friend. Everything was efficiently arranged as per request, be it for massage, morning yoga lesson, kids menu and even a cake for friend's surprise birthday party!! Villa Alea is equipped with variety of kids toys and games- makes it especially good for family with kids. Komang(the chef)'s food were more delicious than outside 5star restaurant food!! Definitely recommend to try dining-in, looking out the peaceful rice fields, especially the seafood BBQ with wonderful home-made dipping sources.
10/10We had a wonderful stay at Villa Alea. The location, looking over rice paddies is relaxing and sublime. The quality of accommodation is superb and the staff are friendly and hospitable. They did everything they could to make our stay easy and enjoyable. We have already booked to return again in 2019!
10/10Second time in this villa and in 2 years nothing has changed (which is good !) Except the view on the rice field which is even better. The staff is still the same and they are still doing an awesome job. The cook are very good and have a very varied menu. They can cook almost anything whether this is Indonesian or western food. The driver is very kind and knowledgeable. Great advice , great with kids. Now that I have tried an other villa in Bali, I can compare and I realise how villa Alea is is a luxury villa...and a child friendly one. The pool is really good for the kids even the youngest. And great for grown up as well The grass part of the garden are nice to play and chase frogs or lizard. There was no mosquitos at all The calm at night is a guarantee of good nights and even better days And when the kids are asleep, the living area is far enough to enjoy the rest of the night. I will be back for sure !

9.6/10Such a beautiful and huge 5 bedrooms villa with a beautiful view of paddy rice field. Great living room with good furniture where all members of family can ensemble. All bed rooms are perfect with bath room each. We also like the swimming pool. The staffs including the cook are available until evening and gave us their best service. They are very helpful and great cook and barbecue. We will definitely come back again and share to other about this villa. We really had a great stay for our holiday. Thank you Villa Alea.
10/10We went to Singapore and then Bali during Easter holidays this year (2018). This was our ‘big holidays’ with m’y wife and 3 boys, and together with another 2 families. We stayed for one week in Bali and were looking for the best of authenticity of the Balinese peacefulness of the countryside with ricefields, and not far from the ocean and it’s surfing waves... We found it! The villa Alea is a gem, not only because of its architecture, comfort and great pool (each family had space and a comfortable bed for all), but also thanks to its staff! The whole team welcoming you made it paradise for us: they have organised shopping, cooking, babysitting, surf lessons, yoga classes, massage and help us to book great restaurants! We have traveled a lot and we wanted quality. Those holidays will remain for all of us a pure moment of pleasure and great family quality time! Thank you!!
10/10The best villa I have been in Bali so far. It is well designed, build with quality material, and has amazing facilities. The staff is extremely proactive and competent and will organize anything during your stay.They will cook amazing meals for you with fresh ingredients. The surrounding is very quiet and the villa overlooks a beautiful rice field, which is super relaxing. I really recommend this villa, you will have an amazing stay and will be sad to leave!

10/10Villa Alea could not be more perfect. The Villa is absolutely beautiful, chic and impeccably maintained. The view of the paddy field was magical. Putu, Komang and the rest of the staff were incredible, always there yet created a sense of privacy as well. Nothing was a problem and when we requested breakfast at 5am to accommodate a diving trip it was not an issue. The food was incredible and the cost for a candle lit dinner was a fraction of what we would have spent in town - served in our own villa pool side. Their recommendations from restaurants to a driver (Dewa - who we highly recommend) were perfect.

10/10Pool was huge enough for the nine of us that we can play volleyball in it. Superb service provided by Putu and her team, always making sure that our needs are met. They made us tasty breakfast everyday at affordable prices. Living room was terrific was hanging out at night for drinks and games. Bed was comfy. If we ever have a chance to have another party trip with friends, we are bound to stay at Villa Alea again.
9.6/10WE had and amazing stay at the villa. Warm and caring staffs, we had an amazing cook (Komang) she does all the wonderful dishes and we are well pampered. Slightly off the main road but is convenient to call for assisted by the villa staff. To top it off, everything is within reach and convenient because of the villa staffs. They make our stay chill and relax, we had the most serenity and wonderful vacation. We will definitely be returning to this awesome villa.

10/10We had a wonderful time in Villa Alea. The villa is gorgeous with its typical Indonesian architecture. It's all beautifully decorated, and the comfortable rooms are absolutely charming. The view over the rice field is quite unique, and, coming from dry Dubai, it was a real pleasure to spend time in the beautiful garden and pool and enjoy the Balinese feeling of the villa. The staff was always very discreet and helpful, and the food that we ordered was delicious. We were also very pleased with the location of the villa, minutes away from the beach and shops of Seminyak, and yet very peaceful. Choosing this villa really made our whole trip to Bali quite exquisite.
10/10Beautiful villa with a lot of thought put into the fine (design) touches. The rooms are big, and allow for a lot of light in. The bathrooms likewise. The rooms are on 2 stories, and you have to climb stairs to reach the 2nd floor. For those with young children, the owners have made the villa child-friendly by installing security gates. Very spacious living and dining space ... but the highlight was the lounge area looking out into the pool and rice fields beyond. Perfect relaxation. Big pool and lots of garden space for the little ones to run around and explore. The surrounding rice fields lent a touch of relaxation and quietness ... Easy to get into the Seminyak, Oberoi, Kuta areas without being in the hustle and bustle of it. Very friendly staff. Perfect for groups of families! Or large families!!
10/10Villa Alea is an oasis of calm and relaxation. protected by high walls and a beautifully landscaped garden you can enjoy total privacy. Built in Bali style resort has generous bedrooms with attractive poster bed. Particularly impressively is the Living and lounge area, tastefully decorated, with cozy sitting areas and a wonderful view of the pool and the distant rice fields. The staff was always helpful and always at your disposal. The obvious place Seminyak offers plenty of restaurants, entertainment and for shopping Too like we would in the coming winter our stay repeat. with adjoining bathroom are very spacious
