Sunday's Beach Club
10/10My stay at the Ungasan was the highlight of the whole trip! We had the privelege of staying at Villa Ambar, a complex overlooking the ocean. We had no idea what to expect. When the doors to the villa was swung open by our dedicated butler, we couldnt't believe our eyes at how intricately the architecture was designed. We arrived at nightime, yet the villa looked as beautiful during the day as it did in the dark. laterns illuminated the way so we could catch glimpses of the pools of koi fish that bordered path.. upon reaching the end, we arrived at a glowing inifinity pool that blended into the ocean below the cliff. There were sounds of waves crashing on the shore. We could see all of it since the beach itself glowed with lights! to our right was also a lantern filled pagoda that looked like something out of a disney movie. The perfect place for a romantic dinner. The beauty of the villa was matched with unparalleled service from our amazing butler, who had breakfast prepared for us every morning, and had our rooms cleaned up every day. I had the most wonderful experience at the Ungasan and hope to come back soon to enjoy it all over again.!
10/10We stayed in Villa Ambar as a family and used The Ungasan as a base to explore the best of Bali from. From the luxuriy of our own private Villa and the amazing clifftop horizon pool the kids can't stop talking about, to daily access to Sundays Beach Club, we had an amazing resort with everything you would want. With our own daily car and driver, we visited the best sites and sounds including the Waterbom park in Kuta, dinner in Seminyak and Jimabaran, plus sunset at the magical Uluwatu temple and the Kecak dance. Amazing place to come back to and base yourselves at.
