9.4/10We had already stayed at Villa SAVANA next door in 2024, so we were already very familiar with the location. This year, we opted for the “newer” Villa SERENITY, which—roughly speaking—was built as a mirror image right next door. This time, there were 7 of us. The amenities are the same, just a bit newer. There are fresh ideas in the interior design, all planned by an interior designer. A billiards room. Two massage beds in each of the upper rooms. This is a huge advantage. Back in 2024, we had to take a taxi to the UBUD TRADITIONAL SPA every single time, and just the back-and-forth alone cost us a good two hours. This time, we put our complete trust in the fabulous management...Once again, a huge thank you to KOMANG, PUTU, and the rest of the staff who pampered us. They booked four therapists (with just one hour’s notice) and arranged for us to get massages as part of the villa package. 60 minutes for about 15€. NO time wasted. True—there was no “celebration” like at the spa (tea, choosing scents, foot washing…), but that was totally fine with us. Still, you should book an appointment at the spa just out of curiosity… if you can even get one on short notice… so you can see the differences. As always, everything has its pros and cons. We preferred relaxing in the infinity pool until it was our turn rather than sitting in a taxi. The airport pickup by minibus was arranged by Villafinder from Singapore and cost 104 euros for both legs of the trip; it went off without a hitch...kudos to them. Before arriving, we had the fridge stocked with drinks, fruit, and juices. Two years earlier, we’d gone grocery shopping ourselves at the supermarket… a total waste of time. On the first morning, we had the villa team whip up an Indonesian breakfast for us, so our vacation could really get started. Over the next few days, we had breakfast at Cafe Mango, just 300 meters around the corner to the right. What they whip up there is amazing. You can have lunch and dinner at the small restaurant right across the street at very reasonable prices. For downtown Ubud, I’d recommend GEDONG SISI and IBU RAI. Both are great—the latter is a tad better; the seating is more comfortable, and they provide cloth napkins. But now back to the villa… Right from the moment you arrive, you’re blown away by the open architecture and the view from the infinity pool directly out over the expansive jungle landscape. It simply wows every guest anew, and you find yourself thinking… “We’ve made it… Paradise…”I never want to leave here. The villa has very comfortable beds, some with mosquito nets, a relatively well-equipped kitchen, a side-by-side refrigerator, a pool table, and a TV room. The service is top-notch, as there’s always someone immediately available in the adjacent building. Excursions can also be booked through the management.A minibus with a driver to explore four beaches (Sanur, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, and Kuta) cost €75 for 12 hours. If the trip from Europe weren’t so grueling, we’d probably be here every year.......
10/10The villa is as beautiful as the photos! The view is sumptuous and we appreciated the fidelity of the photos to the place. The dedicated team on site has been caring, responsive, and professional. The services offered breakfast and massage at the villa were excellent. We chose to be more on the forest side than rice fields and we don't regret it. We were two families with four children. I would highly recommend
10/10This is one of the most beautiful villas we have stayed in. The setting is incredible and the staff are so welcoming and lovely. The place is kept very clean and tidy and you are made to feel very at home. The style of the home is stunning and the view is next level incredible. Would absolutely stay again

9/10Absolutely stunning villa. The traffic and roads in Ubud can be chaotic, but this Villa is an absolutely haven away from the hustle and bustle. The pool is beyond stunning - it’s huge with breathtaking views over the jungle. The villa was relaxing and the concierge staff were super attentive with bookings and sorting anything out for us!

10/10A Dream Stay – Even Better Than the Photos! We had the most incredible experience staying at Villa Serenity— truly a dream come true! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the superb service and genuinely lovely staff who made us feel right at home. The views were absolutely breathtaking — the kind that make you stop in your tracks and just soak it all in. The villa is beautifully designed with separate living spaces, which gave everyone the perfect balance of privacy and comfort. One of the standout features was the Balinese outdoor bathrooms — a truly over indulgent and special touch that added to the luxury feel. We treated ourselves to in-room massages, and they were nothing short of amazing. A definite must! The pool table was a hit too — lots of laughs and great bonding time over a few games. The kitchen tiles were a little slippery when wet, but we just laid down some towels and it was fine. The photos genuinely don’t give the Villa justice. Wow Factor overload!
10/10Serenity Villa was outstanding in every way. It is absolutely stunning and the staff bends over backwards to help in every situation. We had breakfast served every morning which was excellent and did the BBQ dinner one night - out of this world and so much food. We had massages 3 different nights in the Villa which were very good. Each bedroom is private and quiet. The villa was extremely clean and well cared for and the location easy to take your day trips from. There is a restaurant right across the street for those nights where you don’t want to go anywhere. We would easily stay again and highly recommend Serenity Villa to anyone traveling with a group.
10/10The villa is absolutely beautiful and even more beautiful than the photos. The staff are lovely and we were able to enjoy all the meals and activities offered by the villa that enhance the experience! The location and view are breathtaking, especially at the first light of day. Away from the noisy bustle of Ubud center while being very close by scooter We had a divine stay with my friends and if I go back to Ubud I will come back to this villa without hesitation! Thank you to everyone who manages this villa who made these 4 days absolutely unforgettable!

10/10A super idyllic spot, really close to Ubud but still quiet and peaceful. I totally agree with previous reviews - first reaction when walking into the villa is just “wow.” The pool looks out over endless jungle views, and the indoor wall is nearly fully made of glass, giving a lush tropical garden view on the other side. That means you are completely surrounded by greenery. You might hear occasional scooters from the small country road nearby, but overall it’s quiet, and the jungle sounds take over. Being so close to Ubud means there are tons of food options. We preferred to not cook ourselves during holiday, but we mostly used Grab to get food delivered. There are also restaurants within walking distance, and the villa offers its own in-dining service. Our kids loved the pools and running around the different levels. We loved how clean everything was, how friendly and helpful the villa team was, and of course the amazing massages by the in-house therapist, Candra (try „deep-tissue“!)
10/10There aren't many Korean reviews, but it's a little far from downtown Ubud, but the staff will get a driver and tell you everything you want. The next time I go to Bali, I will definitely visit again. It was the best accommodation of my life. There is not a single disadvantage.
10/10Wonderful stay at the villa! Staff was always easy to communicate with and friendly. Everything looked like the pictures. Enjoyed having a few meals on property. They even had scooters ready for us upon our arrival per our request. Though I must admit we did not ride them as much as we thought we would as we are novice to scooting and the villa is located up steep and twisting roads. We didn’t want to end up in a hospital or be the cause of a crash navigating those tricky roads. It was easy to hail ride sharing scooters from the villa. I would definitely consider staying again, especially when my scooter skills improve! 😆
10/10The villa is very clean, beautiful and modern. The idea with the slide is very cool. Good air conditioning, everything is new and well maintained and the bathrooms are half outside as I like.

10/10We recently stayed at this stunning villa! The images capture the villa perfectly , we were three couples ,each bedroom was amazing with great views! We ordered balloons , laundry to be done, taxis, airport pick ups and massages and each service was provided without any hassle. The Villa staff were so attentive which made our holiday so relaxing . We would highly recommend this villa as it was perfect in every way .
10/10This villa is out of this world!!! Soooo beautiful, stylish and well maintained. The view is astonishing, staf are super helpful and attentive. We ordered breakfast be their chef and dinner (local balinese and barbecue and it was great). I felt at the top of the world in this amazing luxury upscale location. Highly recommend!😍

10/10I booked this villa with five friends, and watching their reactions as they walked through the front door to see the stunning views of Ubud’s forests and valleys was priceless. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, always available but respectful of our privacy. The villa is even better than the photos! It’s beautifully designed with modern decor and Balinese touches, immaculately clean, and well-maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, fresh filtered water is provided daily, and the minibar is stocked at fair prices. The location is perfect 10 minutes from Ubud center yet completely private, with no other villas in front of the breathtaking views. Each room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the beds were heavenly. Don’t miss the open-air tubs or in-house massages (the villa even has massage rooms!). The infinity pools were a highlight we spent hours enjoying the forest views. A special thanks to Putu!
