Escondida en el tranquilo pueblo de Mendira, en la costa este de Bali, Villa Gils se encuentra justo una casa más atrás de la primera línea de playa. Candidasa es un tranquilo destino costero que sigue beneficiándose de las continuas mejoras en las infraestructuras. Nos gustaría informarte de que actualmente se está llevando a cabo un proyecto gubernamental de mejora de la playa a unos 50 metros de la villa para crear un nuevo paseo marítimo.

El dormitorio principal de Villa Gils está situado en la planta superior del pabellón principal, y cuenta con una espaciosa suite con aire acondicionado y una cama king-size de cuatro postes en el centro.
Junto a la suite principal hay un segundo dormitorio de diseño familiar, con dos camas individuales que también pueden configurarse en una cama king-size. Estas habitaciones contiguas son especialmente ideales para los padres que viajan con niños pequeños o bebés, ya que se pueden proporcionar cunas adicionales sin coste adicional. También en el nivel superior de la villa hay una terraza cubierta para relajarse y disfrutar de las vistas del océano a sólo unas decenas de metros. Utilice este balcón al aire libre para relajarse en la cama de día o disfrutar de un masaje privado con su propio terapeuta de spa.
Las otras dos habitaciones de Villa Gils están situadas en la planta baja, en un pabellón con tejado de paja, con terrazas privadas que dan a la piscina. Cada una de estas habitaciones tiene aire acondicionado y ofrece configuraciones de cama flexibles, desde lujosos reyes hasta individuales cuando sea necesario. Los cuartos de baño de las dos habitaciones junto a la piscina cuentan con duchas exteriores y lavabos e inodoros interiores.

Justo delante del edificio principal hay un conjunto de seis tumbonas y la piscina de 25 metros, diseñada con una pequeña zona de vadeo para los niños que está separada de la sección profunda por un camino de piedra flotante. Junto a la piscina hay un balé para comer al aire libre, otro lugar donde reunirse para las comidas matutinas, las bebidas al atardecer y los festines nocturnos. También hay un cenador Alang-Alang con asientos acolchados para cuando quiera pasar el rato y secarse de la piscina.
Junto a las habitaciones de la planta baja se encuentra la zona de estar y comedor, de concepto abierto y con mucha brisa. En el centro se encuentra un bar de cócteles para seis personas y una elegante cocina para crear cócteles y platos especializados. Reúnase aquí o en el acogedor sofá-salón situado a pocos pasos, donde podrá ver un DVD, leer un libro o jugar a un juego de mesa todos juntos. No importa lo que elija, nunca tendrá que elegir entre la vida en el interior o en el exterior con una sala de estar que da a un exuberante jardín verde y a la piscina.

Villa Gils is located in the peaceful Balinese village Mendira, right by the palm fringed black volcanic coastline of East Bali and near to the popular town of Candidasa The sea is calm, great for families with kids and Mendira Beach also features beautiful coral gardens and colorful fishes, making it great for snorkeling For a delightful dinner, head to Vincent's, a Jazz bar and restaurant with a classy ambience and a great ocean view.
10/10We had an absolutely wonderful stay at villa gils. The villa was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed, for a comfortable stay. The hospitality from villa staff was phenomenal. They looked after us with so much care and professionalism. This was by far the most outstanding experience.

9.6/10What an amazing place. Absolutely superb in all aspects… Vila Gils is immaculately clean, comfortable and great value. The staff were amazing, highly professional and couldn’t do enough to help. They were attentive, friendly and very welcoming. The pool is huge, a decent depth (1.7m at the deeper end) and a perfect temperature. The rooms and bathrooms were fantastic, really comfortable and spotlessly clean. All of the four bedrooms have aircon, had a luxurious feel, including the beds which were very comfortable. Breakfasts are included and are of a really high standard. There’s a choice including nasi goreng, omelette or a variety of bacon and eggs in addition to fresh fruit, toast, fruit juice and tea/coffee. Lunch and evening meals are also available, which we had a couple of times, and were also of a very high standard and great value. There are plenty of warungs within easy walking distance which were amazing too. Warung Padang Kecag and Warung B’Tok were stand outs, although Warung Bintang was exceptional value and quality - but was a short drive away in Candidasa. We’re a family of five including two teenagers. We all loved our time at Vila Gil’s and could not fault any aspect of it and will certainly return. Wayan and her team helped with offering advice and organising some transport and excursions for us which was a great help. Overall, a superb villa set in beautiful private gardens and staffed by an amazing team.
10/10We had a fantastic time at Villa Gils. The villa's design is quite unique with a lot of open space that gives a sense of true emersion in nature. Well equipped and kept in great condition, very clean. The on-site team led by Wayan was fantastic. Great cooking, service, tips, help & support during our stay. Kids loved the large pool, which was at a very comfortable temperature during our stay. The downward sloping design worked very well for us to feel safe letting our 6 year old son play in it with very limited supervision. Highly recommended.
9/10The villa is spectacular, beautiful and very well located in terms of the many good cafes nearby. What definitely needs to change: guests are offered their own kitchen, and there is not a single piece of cutlery or plate in the kitchen! If you need any of it, you have to go to the kitchen staff and ask for it to be given to you. At the same time, as soon as you have eaten, the staff comes, washes it all and takes it back to their kitchen! It is simply impossible to eat properly! The bathroom on the second floor is almost completely without a roof, sootvetstvenno in the rain it is impossible to wash there.

10/10We booked the villa last minute due to a flight cancellation that ruined our initial plan. That was the best thing to happen to us. The villa is beautiful, especially the pool. The best thing about the villa is Wayan and her team. They are kind and helpful, we felt welcomed and like home. Their food is delicious!

The villa is incredible, with its wonderful swimming pool and its gorgeous garden. But above all, Wayan and her staff have been treating us so kindly, with so much love, that we felt, immediately at home, relaxed and truly on holiday. Everything was perfect! Thank you so much!
