Villa Pantai is a two-storey, palatial vacation residence that features ancestral Balinese luxury. Interiors are appointed with elaborate and elegant as well as classic and luxurious wood furnishings and fixtures. Throughout the villa are sculptures of all sizes - depicting both traditional and abstract figures. Amenities are essentially of hotel and resort quality - for each and every guest's pure pleasure and indulgence. Truly, Villa Pantai extends to you genteel and quiet living amidst, as the villa's name denotes, an oceanfront atmosphere.
La villa cuenta con cuatro dormitorios: tres están en la segunda planta, mientras que otro está en la planta baja. Todos los dormitorios de la segunda planta se abren a un balcón envolvente con magníficas vistas del paisaje y del mar abierto. Sin embargo, sólo uno de los dormitorios tiene una cama de matrimonio. Parallel to the villa is the 13-meter swimming pool. Jump into its refreshing, glassy waters for some aimless wading, or for some playful splashing. From the water, you can stretch out on cushioned, wooden pool beds on the stone deck under the trees. Or, doze off under the shade of the poolside bale - lulled by the calming, cascading waters from the swimming pool's sculptured fountains. The entire swimming pool area is ideal for barbecue pool parties especially on chilly evenings.
On the breezy, semi-open and spacious ground floor of villa is the living area. Around its hefty couch and chairs oriented towards a large seawater aquarium and a widescreen TV, you can all get together to mingle and mix, to catch shows you've been closely following, or to relive the drama of your most beloved classic movie. There are two dining areas. The indoor dining area is arranged at one end of the villa's ground floor behind the living area. While the alfresco dining area is on the stone deck by the swimming pool. Wherever you choose to dine, you can all indulge in authentic local specialties - as well as Western staples - masterfully prepared by the in-house chef at the villa's fully-equipped, modern kitchen beside the indoor dinner table. In another room at the opposite end of the ground floor is the villa's billiards room where you can compete for, at least, a few bragging rights. Adjoining is the villa's gym provided with cardio equipment, free weights as well as weight machines - so you can still do your fitness regimen even while you're on vacation. Up on the villa's roof top is an open-air deck with 360-degree views of the majestic mountain ranges and the distant horizon - certainly a perfect venue for magical sunset cocktails.
Los servicios diarios de la villa están a cargo de un personal amable y servicial compuesto por un encargado de la piscina, un jardinero, amas de llaves y personal de seguridad. Aparte del chef, se puede llamar a una niñera, un conductor, un ayudante de lavandería y un terapeuta de spa si se solicita. Sin embargo, sus servicios tienen un coste adicional. Las bicicletas y el barco se pueden utilizar de forma gratuita. Se puede alquilar un coche.
Villa Pantai is based in Amed - Bali's favorite diving and snorkeling jump off site. Get onboard a jukung - a traditional and colorful outrigger - and sail around Jemeluk Bay where you can swim with schools of colorful, tropical fish, bales of endangered sea turtles, harmless reef tip sharks and manta rays, as well as get to see fascinating coral gardens and a sunken World War II Japanese ship. On another occasion, continue your aquatic adventure at the Tirta Gangga Water Gardens and at the Goa Lawah Temple.
8.4/10Bonjour, Nous avons beaucoup aimé la villa Pantai dans l’esprit balinais ainsi que son jardin bien entretenu. Belle piscine dont l’entourage est bien aménagé. Calme, verdure et qualité de cette maison! Nous avons également aimé la discrétion du staff toujours efficace. Nous mettons juste une petite retenue sur l’offre en cuisine...Par comparaison à la Villa Cempaka dont les menus étaient plus variés et élaborés. 10/10Thank you for such a wonderful time at your amazing villa. Beautiful country, beautiful experiences! We really loved the pace here in Amed. Everyone we met was really wonderful. Do the rice field tours and walk the 1700 steps to the six temples (very physically demanding). Day at Ubud was a great day of shopping and then just laying by the pool or a short trip to the beach. Just all around an amazing trip! Enjoy!
9.2/10It was virtually impossible to find a villa for 8 people in or around Amed. Villa Pantai was the only one I could find, because all the other accommodation seemed to be provided by hotels rooms, or bungalows in the grounds of hotels. The house itself can only be described as magnificent and was set in beautifully tended grounds. The only disappointment was the 4th bedroom on the ground floor, which was not of the same size or standard as the other 3. The web site does not do the villa justice and pictures should be displayed of all the bedrooms, not just the master bedroom, which is outstanding. The villa is located in its own grounds, 20 metres from the beach, along which you only have to walk 100 yards to find wonderful snorkeling. The Japanese wreck was a disappointment and really not worth a visit. The 2 main staff are superb and the menu, although very limited for first courses, was cheap and extremely good. Wayan will provide anything you ask for, be it transport, boats, snorkeling gear or recommendations to dine out. Balinese massages were supplied on request on site and were extremely good value for money. Blue Star restaurant on the beach a couple of miles away is heartily recommended and the snorkeling off their beach is among the best in the area. We spent 4 nights in Villa Pantai and would recommend it to anyone, who wants to rent a large villa on the East Coast of Bali.
