The Ungasan Clifftop Resort sits on top of a cliff in the southern tip of Bali. Villa Chintamani is part of this resort and it features magnificent views of the deep blue Indian Ocean. There are so many amazing on-site facilities for relaxation and entertainment that you might not want to go anywhere at all but with a personal driver at your service 8 hours every day, it would be a waste not to go explore the beautiful beaches and temples near to the villa. Beaches like Padang Padang, Pandawa, Dreamland and Nusa Dua are well-worth visiting and they are great for swimming and surfing. The Uluwatu Temple is the island’s most important sea temple and at the temple, you can watch a traditional Kecak dance performance during sunset time. If you are into seafood, head over the Jimbaran Bay for a feast and if you want to go shopping, try Bali Collection in Nusa Dua or drive to fashionable Seminyak, approximately 40 minutes away by car.
10/10We stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon. It was our first time to Bali but we are so glad we picked The Ungasan for our stay. The hotel is very remote and private, I hardly saw any guests the entire time. We had the Chintamani villa to ourselves, with a private infinity pool overlooking the Indian ocean. Every morning after sunrise and a morning swim, we had the Harvest breakfast delivered by our butler Novan and Anik. Anything we needed we had, the rooms were clean and spectacular. In addition we were able to add on in-villa massages outside, a flower bath, and VIP treatment to Sunday's beach club. We were surprised with the good tasting food, especially down at Sunday's beach, where we spent each day. There is no reason to leave the resort but we did one afternoon to explore Uluwatu temple Kecak dancing and sunset. I can't wait to come back, this place was surreal!
