Haigha House

Haigha House is a 3-bedroom luxury villa. The master suite on the west wind has a super king bed with a premium mattress. It has a sunset-facing private balcony and also offers beautiful views of the garden. On a clear day, you will be able to see volcanoes from this room and its balcony. The two other bedrooms are both on the east wing. They share a deck that overlooks the forest and the rice terraces. One bedroom has a king bed and the second has a bunk bed. Together, the three bedrooms can sleep up to 6 guests. An additional guest can sleep on the sofa bed in the living room.

Both the deck and balcony have sitting areas for you to enjoy the stunning nature views with a drink in hand. All three bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. The one with the master suite has a vintage copper bathtub and walk-in closet. The two others have showers.

You will rarely find a better place in Ubud where you can stay in nature and enjoy a peaceful holiday. The villa has beautiful rice terraces on one side and a rich forest on the other – the setting cannot be more tranquil and serene. You will often hear the melodic sound of a traditional bamboo flute. It is the neighbor who makes these flutes and plays the melodious tunes. Perhaps, you may want to visit the person and see how these flutes are made.

A highlight of this property is its private swimming pool that is built at the edge of the forest. It has a large L-shaped timber deck with several loungers where you can relax and enjoy the views when you are not swimming. The deck and balcony too offer fantastic views. Almost every room has a large window offering views. The house is designed to allow the guests to enjoy the panoramic exterior space.

The interior is equally beautiful. The living room is a couple of steps from the poolside deck. It features a sofa in vibrant red, a rustic coffee table, a library, and a television. Double ceiling glass panels provide unobstructed views. Take the staircase to the upper level to reach the dining room. The long wooden table seats the entire family. There is also an antique chest of drawers. Two walls are made entirely of glass.

The kitchen has a stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, tea/coffee maker, oven, toaster, electric kettle, and barbecue – everything you need. There is also a spa room in this villa.

There is a flat-screen TV with streaming services like Netflix. There is also an iron and an ironing board. You will also find a drying rack for clothing. The bathrooms have towels, toiletries, and hair dryers. Daily housekeeping is complimentary with your stay. For a charge, you can hire a yoga instructor and a massage therapist. The villa’s staff speaks English, French, and Indonesian.
