Villa Markisa is a thoughtfully designed three-bedroom private villa in Uluwatu & Bingin, created for travellers who want privacy without feeling isolated. Tucked within the Bukit Peninsula, it offers a calm, contained setting just a short drive from some of Bali’s most sought-after beaches and surf breaks.
The overall feel is relaxed yet polished, with a layout that makes day-to-day holiday living easy and intuitive.
Villa Markisa is one of five villas set within the same complex, connected by charming garden pathways. Each residence features its own private entrance, while the entire estate can also be booked exclusively for special occasions such as weddings or private celebrations.
Each of the three bedrooms at Villa Markisa is designed as a private retreat, complete with its own ensuite bathroom. This setup provides independence for every guest, which is especially valuable for families with teenagers or groups of friends travelling together.
The rooms are air conditioned and proportioned to feel spacious without excess. Thoughtful storage allows guests to unpack and settle in properly, helping the villa feel like a temporary home rather than a short stopover.
The overall bedroom arrangement supports both shared experiences and personal downtime, a balance that works particularly well in Uluwatu & Bingin where days are often spent outdoors.
10x2.5m
The outdoor space revolves around a private swimming pool and a compact terrace designed for easy relaxation. It’s an intimate setup that keeps everyone within sight and within conversation, whether you’re swimming, lounging, or simply enjoying the warm air.
Sunbeds line the pool area, creating a natural spot for reading or resting between beach outings. The proximity between the terrace and the main living area ensures a smooth indoor-outdoor flow, so gatherings naturally spill outside without feeling disconnected.
In this part of Uluwatu & Bingin, having a private pool to return to after sandy afternoons adds genuine comfort to the experience.
Inside, the villa features an enclosed living and dining area that stays cool and comfortable throughout the day. Large glass openings draw in natural light while maintaining the option of full air-conditioning when the heat rises.
The dining space accommodates the entire group with ease, making shared meals simple and enjoyable. The adjacent fully equipped kitchen supports practical holiday living, whether that means preparing breakfast, storing beach snacks, or arranging a casual dinner at home.
Clean architectural lines and neutral finishes give the interiors a calm presence, allowing the focus to remain on time spent together.
Daily life at Villa Markisa is supported by regular housekeeping, ensuring the villa remains tidy and comfortable without guests needing to manage the details themselves.
Our Villa Finder Concierge team is also available to assist before arrival and throughout your stay. We can organise airport transfers, local drivers, scooter hire, in-villa spa treatments, or restaurant reservations around Uluwatu & Bingin.
The support is discreet but reliable, designed to make the experience seamless from start to finish.
The villa’s location places you close to some of the Bukit’s most celebrated beaches. Bingin Beach is known for its laid-back charm and reliable waves, while Padang Padang Beach attracts both surfers and sun-seekers.
A short drive leads to the dramatic cliffs of Uluwatu Temple, famous for its ocean views and evening kecak performances. The surrounding Pecatu area blends casual local eateries with more refined dining spots, offering plenty of choice without needing to travel far.
It’s a setting that supports beach-focused days and relaxed evenings with equal ease.
9.6/10This was an amazing villa for my family we felt truly relaxed for our whole stay it was such a sanctuary to come home to after our adventures each day. Staff went above and beyond and made sure we had everything we needed and the villa was kept pristinely clean during our stay. Kids and myself never wanted to leave. Thankyou so much
10/10The photos do not do this amazing villa justice. This place is simply stunning and the service is top drawer. My family and I spent four nights here and it was incredible. You will need transport p get to the beaches.
9/10The villa looks fabulous in the night with full view of the moon and stars, and the rooms were kept clean and service was great. Whenever we needed more of a certain food item, it was always provided for breakfast. Kids had fun in the pool though it was not a full sized one.
9.6/10My two daughters and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Markisa. It was a beautiful and peaceful oasis, and the staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. This was a great base to explore the beaches in the area and we loved its close proximity to the Ulu Cliffhouse (our favourite) and other beach clubs. We will be back!
9/10The villa is very amazing and fantastic, just like what you see on the picture. Villa staff are very friendly and helpful. A must villa if you looking for a stay at Uluwatu area. Thanks Frederic for the hospitality.
8/10we enjoyed staying in our villa that was allocated for us by my friend, first visit in Bali and our accommodation is super nice, quiet, clean and plenty of space, highly recommended
9.6/10We honestly could not have enjoyed our stay at Villa Markisa more. The villa is exactly like the photos - beautiful, clean, peaceful. Although the villa isn't near the beach you don't feel like you ever need to leave! All of the staff were so incredibly helpful . Frederik and Vivi were always available to give recommendations for places to go or things to do. They arranged a beautiful traditional meal to be cooked at the villa for us and were always happy to arrange taxis at any point in the day. The breakfast that was cooked at the villa every morning was so tasty! We can't wait to go back again!
8.2/10In August, I would now like to see if you have the same villa available for the 25th of April to the 30th of April This being for 5 nights.
10/10Myself and my group of friends spent 6 nights in Villa Markisa at Akilea Villa’s and it is safe to say it was one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed in. It was quite literally paradise. Everything was just so clean and spacious. The rooms are absolutely huge, and the outdoor bathrooms are perfectly designed. The main kitchen/living area has a brilliant aspect looking over the pool and gardens, and it was great place to just sit around and relax in. The staff were just amazing, they organised anything we wanted at the drop of a hate and were extremely accommodating and flexible with any of our requests. I would say the only negative is it raised the standard so high that our other accommodation in Bali didn’t come close to Akilea! We cannot wait to be back. Keep up the great work Fred and co!!
10/10Villa markisa was perfect for us and our group of friends. Its quiet and comfortable with beautiful bedrooms and big bathrooms. The villa staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough to help us. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.
9.6/10Our stay at Villa Markisa was perfect. Fred was very friendly and supporting host. He also helped us organising trips and gave us tips for nearby restaurants. The location is good and you can reach all nice bars and the temple in Uluwatu within 15 minutes.
