Villa Sedap Malam is a cosy and classy 2-bedroom holiday retreat with a prime location just meters away from the beach and close to Oberoi's Eat Street. This villa is perfect for couples on a romantic getaway a small family looking for a peaceful home away from home in the hustling and bustling center of Seminyak.
The master bedroom is located on the first floor adjoined to the upper terrace where you can sit and enjoy the view over the garden and inside there is a stunning canopied king-size bed a wooden wardrobe closet with safety deposit and fresh kimonos and slippers to wear after enjoying a relaxing bathing session in the en-suite bathroom which also features a rain-shower and all guest amenities.
The guest bedroom is also connected to the upper terrace and inside there are twin beds with white curtains which can be converted to one large king-size bed. The room features a wooden interior design enriched by hints of purple, a dressing room with safety deposit and the en-suite bathroom also features a luxurious bathtub and a rain-shower.

The outdoor area of Villa Sedap Malam is surrounded by high walls making it a private peaceful oasis full of tropical greenery and frangipani trees offering both sunny and shaded areas. There is an inviting swimming pool built with natural stones perfect for swimming some laps or enjoying a drink seated at the stools in the water. Around it guests can sunbath on the sunbeds or chill out in the pool side gazebo and on the veranda guests can read a book on the comfortable sofa or enjoy some some afternoon tea at the round table with 2 chairs.
The living area can be opened up to the garden or closed so you can enjoy the air-conditioning inside. The space looks chic and serene and it wears warm colors of warm orange along with a wooden interior design. There is a chic red relax bed for reading one of the magazines and an L-shaped sofa with coffee table where you can watch a movie on the TV. In the evening guests can enjoy a delicious dinner on the wooden dining table for 6 prepared in the open kitchen fully equipped with everything you need.
The villa offers personal assistance, daily housekeeping, garden and pool maintenance and 24 hour security. The villa manager is always available on call for any request or questions. Everything can be arranged for you from in-house massages to tours to help with grocery shopping.
One of the best things about the villa is it's location as it is just a 2 minute walk to the beach so guests can enjoy watching Bali's enchanting sunset everyday or even sunrise for the early birds. The villa is also just meters away from the famous Eat Street in Oberoi with an excellent range of restaurants, café’s and bars and Seminyak is great for shopping, from the souvenir market to popular shops to designers boutiques and to the Bintang supermarket. The international airport of Bali is just a 25 minute drive away and other hot spots such as Ubud, the Tanah Lot Temple or the beaches in Uluwatu are easy to reach by car.
10/10It is a beautifully furnished house with a lovely garden. The staff were really lovely. We were asked every day what we wanted for breakfast. When we returned to the house in the evening or afternoon, everything was tidy and clean. In the evenings you could sit on the small covered terrace or swim in the pool. Although the entrance to the property is on the street, you didn't hear anything in the house. The beach is just a five minute walk away. The restaurants and stores are about 10 minutes away. The pick-up from the airport and the transfer back worked wonderfully. A big thank you to the whole team. We are going back to Bali in the fall and would have loved to come back to Villa Sedap Malam, but unfortunately it was not available. Maybe another time.
