Villa Abida is a two-level vacation residence that typifies country-style, American architecture and design. With a predominantly white color scheme, interiors are embellished with mostly framed photographs, as well as appointed with a synthesis of elegant, ornate, old-fashioned furnishings, vintage fixtures and contemporary pieces. In contrast, amenities are modern and premium – for utmost guest satisfaction. Truly, Villa Abida, with its distinctively quaint, homey and warm character, holds out to you a stay that’s laid-back and restful.
The villa has three bedrooms. One of these bedrooms is on the ground level. This bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a dedicated bathroom with a rain shower. On the second level is a spacious, attic-style bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a dedicated bathroom with a rain shower. And the third bedroom is beside the pool with a queen-sized bed and a bathroom with rain shower.
The property’s exterior landscaping beautifully balances the garden’s well-kept lawn and the six-meter swimming pool. Jump into its welcoming, glassy waters for some mindless wading. Or, push everyone in for some splashy fun and games. Up from the water, you can laze on cushioned pool beds on the wooden deck at one end of the swimming pool. Or, leisurely lounge on cushioned folding chairs out on the lawn as you sip a cool, fruity drink. The entire outdoor area is ideal for country-style barbecue pool parties especially on breezy evenings.
In the villa’s bright, sunny, glass-walled ground level is the spacious living area with its hefty, long couch as well as large, elongated easy chair. Here, you can all get together for engaging conversation. At the back of the ground level is the dining area. On its ornate, wooden table good for six, you can all savor authentic Balinese cuisine – as well as foreign fare – masterfully prepared by the in-house chef at the fully-equipped, modern kitchen section alongside the dinner table. Extra seats are also provided by the kitchen counter which doubles as a bar.
On duty to deliver the services of the villa is a staff composed of a housekeeper, a pool attendant and a gardener. In addition to the chef, a babysitter, a driver, a spa therapist and a security team may, upon request, be called in. Their services, however, come with a separate charge. Bike, scooter and car rentals are also available.
Villa Abida is located in Seminyak – Bali’s bustling beach town. From the villa, a few minutes’ walk will take you to the Oberoi District’s Eat Street – renowned among foodies for its casual to fine dining restaurants. Highly-recommended among these are Champagne Bar, Corner House, Kilo, Mamasan, Piston and Sisterfields. Amble on and you’ll stumble upon malls, fashion boutiques, novelty shops and souvenir stores. Then navigate your way toward Double Six Beach. Find a spot at one of the cozy beach cafes and chill all afternoon. When the night pulsates to life, groove to the rhythm of the upbeat nightlife at must-see and must-be-seen-in bars and clubs most especially Ku De Ta.
9.8/10Villa Abida is absolutely beautiful. It is open and bright, with stunning decor which makes it feel like a luxury home. It is an absolute private oasis in Seminyak. It is in a great location, minutes walk from the two main streets of Seminyak. The staff were lovely and kept the place clean every day. One thing to note unfortunately is the plumbing is not great (even with following all the rules) with no access to a plunger. You have to wait until the cleaner comes the next day, but luckily it was just me and my fiancé and there were two bathrooms. Other than that it was an amazing experience and we will be back!
9.4/10A beautiful villa right in the heart of Seminyak. The villa is in such a great location, but still very quiet. Putu made us feel at home and looked after us so well visiting each day to tidy the villa. The pool is beautiful and our toddler loved playing in it.
