The Round House indeed features stunning round pavilions with high soaring alang alang thatched rooftops, honoring its name. This stunning, traditional 3-bedroom holiday rental sits in a secluded lane of The Island Houses in the heart of Seminyak, just meters from the beach and the famous Eat Street. The Round House can be rented out separately or in configuration with one of its neighboring Villas. The perfect home away from home for those who seek a traditional getaway with a hot, strategic location.
The Round House gives a home to 3 bedroom suites. Two of them are found in the main house, sharing one bathroom together and the third one is tucked in a private bungalow. Each room is individualized by its own color theme, they are fully air-conditioned and furnished with queen-size beds draped in mosquito nets. The connected bedrooms also feature satellite-TVs for late night entertainment and their shared en-suite boasts a freestanding bathtub as well as dual rain showers. The separate bungalow features a tropical open-air bathroom for showering beneath the stars. Just wonderful!

The Round House features a large and tropical sunny garden. The swimming pool is tiled with natural green Java stones and it is encompassed by a timber deck where you can relax and sunbathe on reclining chairs, crafted out of bamboo and rattan. By the poolside, sits another one of the alang alang roofed round-shaped pavilions. This is the place to go to find shade while you can still easily keep an eye on the kids playing in the swimming pool. The pavilion features a large teak table illuminated by rattan lamps, great for dining together with an alfresco feel to it.
The main living room is tucked in the largest round-shaped traditional house, topped by a high soaring alang alang rooftop. The house features timber walls and a natural interior design ruled by teak wood, rattan, oriental rugs and hand-carved closets. There are lots of places to lounge and chill out. Choose between the handmade hammock or the large comfy sofa tucked with plush red cushions. There is a circular dining table for families to sit together and the kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with everything needed and more.
Attentive and welcoming staff is there to assist where needed, respecting your privacy yet keeping the villa spic and span and answering all of your questions should you have any.
This traditional getaway is located in the heart of chic and trendy Seminyak. The location could not be any better for exploring this lively town on foot. A short walk leads you straight to Seminyak's stretch of sunset beach where you can swim, surf and sip sunset drinks at charming beach bars and happening beach clubs such as KU DE TA or Potato Head. On Oberoi Road, better known as the one and only Eat Street, you can dine at excellent restaurants such as the oceanfront La Lucciola or Ultimo. The best coffee in town is found at Revolver Café.
10/10The Round House is a lovely peaceful place to stay, with 2 cafes and 2 convenience stores within a 3-5 minute walk. It is also perfectly situated 10 minutes walk away from KuDeTa, a great restaurant and bar with access to the beach, further along are two other lovely restaurants, Breeze and La Lucciola. Shopping starts near KuDeTa at the Oberoi Flea Market, from there you can wander through to Seminyak Square and beyond for more shops, bars and restaurants. A great trip as always to Bali
10/10Exceeded our expectations! The photos do not do this place justice. Staff were incredibly friendly and easy to interact with and we appreciated the notes provided for local restaurants and things to do. We ordered in with the suggested restaurant and their food was amazing. Relaxing charismatic oasis, Surprising how quiet the villa is considering it's only minutes away from great eateries, bars and the bustling, vibrant streets of Seminyak. The air-conditioned rooms are very cosy. Firm beds and dark room perfect for sleeping in! Would stay again, Thank you!!!
10/10The villa was simply superb. We had an amazing stay there. All the facilities were great – the kitchen was well equipped, the bathrooms and bedrooms were very comfortable. The best bit was the pool, garden and outdoor seating area. We spent hours in the pool, which was clean and so relaxing. The staff who assisted us were also a delight. Inda and Uda were very helpful, as were the gentlemen who made sure the place was secure, helped with our cases, etc. We liked the location of the villa and enjoyed walking to the beach. Seminyak is a fabulous place to stay and the restaurants and shops were fabulous. We had a day touring the beautiful island of Bali, which was great. Only negative was the sound of the washing machines and nearby building works, but to be honest, this wasn’t anything that worried us as a family. It might bother others, possibly. I would happily stay in this villa again. It is the most comfortable and most beautiful accommodation we have ever stayed in. Many thanks.
9.4/10What a great place to go !! A Balinese house opened to nature. Isolated from the city noise, 5 minutes to the beach. Many restaurants nearby and cheap. Great breakfast and service from our housekeeping.
10/10The villa was beautiful and quiet but close to the main road with restaurants and shops. It was very clean and the staff were friendly and so helpful. We loved the villa and the staff and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Seminyak area.
7.6/10We know Bali very well . Been coming for over 40 years . The Round House is lovely , quiet , and near everything . Perfect for a stroll in the beach . Villa staff are lovely too . A perfect short break !
