Villa Arza is part of Canggu Terrace, a three villa complex in Canggu, surrounded by stunning, luxuriant rice fields. Ideal for friends and families, the villa is fully staffed and comes with a swimming pool, a kid’s pool, three equally sized bedrooms and spacious living areas. Located in a tranquil village in south-west Bali, the beaches, restaurants and shops of Echo Beach, Canggu and Seminyak can all be reached within an easy twenty-minute drive.
All of the bedrooms at Villa Arza are identical in design (two with king-size beds and one with twins). Each of the three bedrooms comes with its own TV. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor either side of the swimming pool and boast their own private terraces, overlooking the rice-fields and furnished with table and chairs. The third bedroom is upstairs, a few steps away from the lounge. Ensuite bathrooms are finished in soft white stone and come with twin sinks and glass panelled showers. The two downstairs bathrooms are air conditioned and the master ensuite is also fitted with an oversized granite tub and a second open-air shower.

The 8 meter free-form swimming pool (which incorporates a shallow wading area for kids on its lower level) is surrounded by a stone deck where guest can relax on of of the four sun loungers and admire the rice field views. Corners of the neatly landscaped garden are filled with palms, ferns, and beautiful orchids, while a small lawn provides the perfect spot for a barbecue, prepared and served by the staff, against the backdrop of a river below and the rice fields beyond.
The upstairs open-air living room is cooled by the natural breezes and furnished with a comfortable L-shaped sofa, coffee table and flat screen TV with a Bose audio system. It is also decorated with Asian-inspired art pieces, such as an oriental rug, bird cages, batik stamps and Indonesian fabrics. The tropical-styled dining room features a wooden table where six guests can enjoy the chef’s delicious meals. Set back from the dining table is an open-plan guest kitchen with centre island finished in smooth glossy granite that comes with a gas hob, microwave, kettle and toaster.
The friendly and professional staff will make sure your stay is a memorable one. Whether it be a cold beer by the pool, a luxuriant massage after a long day at the beach, or organising a daytrip to Ubud, they will be more than happy to oblige. The in-house chef can whip up almost any cuisine you can think of. Choose from an extensive menu of Western and Asian dishes, or even a seafood barbecue feast by the pool.
The villa’s peaceful rural surroundings will be agreeable to those looking for somewhere a little off the beaten track but not too far from the action. A fifteen-minute drive from the villa takes you to Pererenan’s black sand beach – famous among surfers for its powerful breaks – and the more popular Echo Beach, with its string of chilled-out cafés and restaurants. Seminyak, with its selection of top Bali restaurants, shops and bars is only a 20-minute drive away.
