A truly unique traditional holiday haven in the north part of Bali, Joglo Lata Lama is a three-bedroom Boutique villa offering its guests a tranquil and serene getaway tucked away in a quiet corner of Lovina close to the sea.
A magnificent beautifully-styled original Indonesian joglo house consisting of a large wonderful open plan living area with two bedrooms, and a private smaller cozy cottage as the third bedroom. The Lush green of the gardens and the sparkling swimming pool nestled in the middle, adds to the old-world charm and rustic ambiance of the property.
Joglo Lata Lama has three bedrooms, two of which are large master suites furnished with hand-crafted four-poster king-sized beds with lined drapes hanging softly over the mattress, making a cosy corner for you to relax in. The antique bedside tables and colourful artwork on the walls of the rooms create a pristine and immediately homely atmosphere that you get to call your own for the duration of your stay. Both rooms have open air en-suite bathrooms with a tropical rain shower sporting a gorgeously tiled wall and a large soaking bathtub amidst tropical foliage.
The third bedroom is a personal cosy cottage located inside a separate joglo, just off the main living pavilion, which holds a comfortable antique double bed, and is ideally meant for children or young guests.
The rich and verdant gardens of Joglo Lata Lama complement the clear-blue skies overhead to create a comforting and relaxing space for the guests.
There is a large swimming pool in the centre, wherein you can swim and splash around to your heart’s content while you enjoy the natural, fresh breeze of Lovina. On one end of the pool, you will find a comfortable, pin-striped, daybed under a Balinese bale with bolsters for you to lie back on and catch some sleep in a natural setting. On the other side, you can find several sun loungers for your convenience, perfect for if you want to work on your tan. A lotus pond lies right outside the third bedroom with large plush cushions to to relax and unwind.
The expansive and antique living area is an open plan joglo, which is fitted with a large teak wood dining table in the middle of the room. The style of the living room is a traditional and authentic Indonesian architecture with vintage artefacts and artwork occupying the space. The high ceilings of the joglo add a royal and Colonial touch to the room. There is a luxurious Madura daybed under a four-poster structure that is meant for a restful and relaxing evening.
Guests can enjoy their time at Joglo Lata Lama, while taking in their spectacular surroundings. The open plan joglo allow in morning and afternoon breezes, you will have the most wonderful time with your family and friends in this exquisite residence.
The island kitchen is the heart of the house and is very well equipped with modern appliances and amenities, great for guests who wish to eat in and cook up a storm!
Of course, you have the option to dine out and enjoy some of the local delights as well.
With a whole team looking after the villa and your needs, there is nothing to worry about. There is house keeping staff ,24Hr security and gardener to maintain the house, A lavish daily breakfast is served to you fresh everymorning. There is a BBQ facility also available to the guests.
Lovina is meant for those who wish to relax and enjoy a meditative and peaceful time away from their busy lives. With little or no noise around, you can enjoy quality time while roaming under towering trees and on the sandy shores of Lovina beach. You can even go horse-riding through the tropical hillsides and explore the neighbouring coffee and clove plantations.
