The master suite is tucked in another ancient Joglo that opens up to a veranda with a private free-form swimming pool. The room is furnished with a deluxe king-size bed and enriched by interesting traditional artwork. The en-suite bathroom is encompassed by ponds and it boasts a terrazzo bathtub and an outdoor shower.
There are six guest bedrooms found in Villa Hansa. Two of them are tucked in traditional Gladak house with a private veranda and the other four are found in a two-storey pavilion on the other side of the garden. All the room feature deluxe beds, spacious wardrobe and a private en-suite of which all but one boast a large soaking bathtub.
The expansive riverside garden has lush exotic plants and trees growing all around the peaceful ponds, the hand-carved sculptures and the stunning overflowing swimming pool. While swimming laps you can gaze at the stunning rice fields at the back of the estate and afterwards you can sunbathe on the pool-side loungers and day-beds. For entertainment and garden dinner parties, there is a BBQ balé equipped with a pool-table. Nestled in the corner of the garden, there is a breezy open-plan yoga pavilion with a truly peaceful ambiance.
A heavy teak wooden gate and stepping stones over a peaceful pond lead into the breathtaking 400 year old Javanese Joglo, completely hand-crafted and hand-carved out of teak wood and enriched by modern full length glass doors allowing you to enjoy air-conditioned comfort while still keeping the amazing garden view. It is a truly special place that breathes elegance and sophistication with an amazing collection of traditional antiques, interesting artwork and lamps crafted from traditional fish-traps. In the centre there is a luxurious sofa lounge where you can curl up with a book, there is a gorgeous teak wooden dining table and a classy bar-lounge for enjoying drinks. The villa also features a separate open-plan dining pavilion surrounded by ponds and for entertainment there is an air-conditioned TV lounge.
The staff is another highlight of this holiday sanctuary, welcoming you with warm Balinese hospitality. There are butlers, housekeeping, two excellent chef cooks and security guards in the night. The friendly manager can tell you everything about the Hindu Gods that the villa and the bedroom suites are named after.
The villa is found in the peaceful rice-field surroundings of Canggu. A lovely 10 to 15 minute walk brings you to Pererenan beach, where you can watch Bali's magnificent sunset. The ocean is wild and beautiful with great surf-breaks. Swimming is a but dangerous in this area but the renown Echo beach is just a short drive away. Echo beach is not only good for swimming but there are also lots of charming beach bars and excellent restaurants for a good night out.
