Activities and Attractions in Berawa
Berawa Beach, with its volcanic dark grey sand, is an incredible surf spot for intermediate to advanced surfers. The surf scene here is less crowded, which means you’ll have more stoke at the end of the surf sesh. However, swimming here is probably not the best idea since Berawa can have massive waves and strong currents. If you’re vacationing with kids, it would be better to have them play in the pool. Alternatively, you can drive further up to Old Man’s in Canggu, where the waves are gentler for swimming and for learning how to surf.And of course, you can’t go to Berawa without visiting the legendary Finns Beach Club. This place is a tourist magnet, though, so if you want a coveted spot by the pool or beach, make sure to come in early. This is the perfect spot to watch the sun go down and the sky change colors while enjoying a Bintang beer.
You should also check out Finns Recreation Club nearby, and experience the most thrilling water slides, ten-pin bowling and bouncing trampolines to keep the little ones amused for hours on end.
