Villa Kayu Merah is a charming and spacious 3-bedroom retreat tucked away in the shade of tropical mango trees and other greenery. A stunning little paradise perfect for families or groups of friends who enjoy being in a quiet area yet not too far away from Bali's main attractions. Villa Kayu Merah is part of a 5-villa complex, each of them has their own entrance but the villa can also be rented out as a whole in case of special events of celebrations like weddings. There are nice garden walks connecting the villa's.
The master bedroom features a beautiful alang-alang roof and sliding doors opening up to the terrace and garden. The room boasts teak panels and a dark wooden interior design including a king-size bed with painted wooden nightstand’s and a spacious dressing room with mirrors and wooden-carvings. The spacious partly outdoor bathroom is set out with a big rain-sower, twin washbasins and a toilet.
The other two bedrooms are located in private bungalows in the back of the garden with a shared terrace featuring a Ganesha statue and an antique wooden bench so you can sit down in the shade and enjoy the view over the garden. The bedrooms have a cozy, warm atmosphere with soft lightning and wooden interior designs. One room features a king-size bed and the other twin beds which can be adjoined to make another kind-size bed. Both the rooms have AC, flat-screen televisions and spacious dressing rooms. The en-suite bathrooms are set out with stone-carved bathtubs, open-air rain-showers, twin washbasins and toilets.

Villa Kaya Merah features a big, bright and beautiful tropical garden with layers of green grass lawns and lots of plants and trees around it, providing you with shade. The big swimming-pool has beautiful round curves in the shape of a bean and on the bright palimanan-stone veranda you can chill out on one of the sunbeds or on the comfortable rattan daybed with soft cushions.
The spacious living area has a beautifully made alang-alang roof with stylish lamps hanging from the high ceiling and a tasteful wooden interior design with lots of traditional artefacts. There is a wooden dining-table big enough for 8 people to enjoy a delicious dinner together and the lounge corner is set out with a comfortable L-shaped sofa and a wooden table placed on a rattan carpet. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with top quality crockery, cutlery, towels and linens and there is an island-bar with chairs to sit and enjoy your coffee in the morning.
Villa Kayu Merah has friendly, good English speaking staff who will make sure everything is suited to your wishes and needs. Some of the staff stays in a building across the road from the villa complex so they are reachable at any time if necessary.
Villa Kayu Merah is tucked away in the south of Bali, close to the Uluwatu temple, Jimbaran where you can eat the best seafood on the island and lots of beautiful famous beaches with crystal clear waters and world class surf spots. The busy center of Kuta/Legian and Seminyak are just a 30 minute drive away, and the international airport even less.
9.6/10I was travelling to Bali from Australia and nesting a group of friends and family from all corners of the world for my 50th Birthday. We had booked another accommodation on AirBnb and was cancelled 2 weeks before our booking date. The staff (Elodie) at Villa finder was so helpful to find us new accommodation. We were booked at Akilea Estate in Uluwatu. We occupied 4 of the 5 Villas. The Villas were spectacular and would recommend this villa, beautiful and you feel like you are in paradise. Everyone one was overwhelmed how beautiful this place was. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Thank you so much for making our stay so special,
10/10From the moment we walked through the front gate we had the most enjoyable time at the villa. It was just so peaceful and relaxing we didn’t want to leave! Fred and Vivi are awesome hosts who were really helpful and welcoming during our time at the villa. The villa and garden setting is incredible we will definitely be back again! 9.4/10Nous avons loué la villa kayu Mera pour 5 nuits ( 5 personnes) pour débuter notre séjour à Bali.La villa nous a apporté tout ce que nous attendions: calme, espace Et confort. La décoration est "Balinaise moderne chic" Les chambres sont très spacieuses dotées d'un grand dressing et d'une salle de bain extérieure "magique" ( prendre un bain au coucher du soleil dans les magnifiques baignoires en pierre restera un excellent souvenir de notre séjour) La pièce à vivre( ouverte sur l'extérieur )est très agréable avec sa grande cuisine ouverte,une grande table de salle à manger (pour les délicieux petits déjeuners cuisinés dans votre cuisine et servis par le personnel....adorable!) Et un confortable canapé d'angle. La piscine ( fraîche pour nous , mais il ne faisait pas très beau lors de notre séjour...) est grande, à débordement et très jolie dans son écrin de verdure. À noter la présence d'une ferme ( nombreuses dans la région) proche de la chambre parentale ( prévoir les boules quies si vous avez le sommeil léger) mais ce petit inconvénient n'enlève rien à la beauté et la quiétude de la villa. La situation géographique de la villa vous permettra ( scooter obligatoire) de visiter l'ouest de bukit. Ne manquez pas jimbaran Et les restos de poissons(Surya café) Et son École de surf, blue point pour déjeuner face aux surfeurs Pro, nyang nyang pour la vue+++, le temple d'Uluwatu pour la balade, la plage de bingin pour déjeuner face à la mer.... Merci à tout le personnel pour leur gentillesse et Merci à Gilles pour son accueil chaleureux. Nous recommandons vivement cette villa!
