Opened for business at the end of 2013, the well located Villa Tara provides premium access to Seminyak – Bali’s most popular tourist destination. Complete with modern amenities and extraordinary service while not lacking in tropical charm, this cosy 3-bedroom villa delivers a highly sought after combination of comfort and Balinese style that has come to be the hallmark of Bali’s finest villas. The villa’s ideal location allows guests to explore Seminyak’s restaurants, bars and shops on foot without having to worry about a driver. The beach is only a 20 minutes walk away.
The master bedroom is found separately, oppositional to the living room with the garden and pool in between. Through the full length glass doors you can enjoy the garden view and by sliding them open, you will have easy access to the swimming pool. The room has a high soaring traditional roof with a ceiling fan and there is also air-conditioning for your comfort. In the centre of the room stands a four poster bed draped by white curtains. There is a large wardrobe closet in which you will find kimono's to wear after a relaxing shower in the private en-suite bathroom.
The villa's two guest bedrooms are furnished with air-conditioning, canopied queen size bed, wardrobe closets and each of them has a private bathroom with a monsoon-shower. Both rooms also features a TV with DVD-player and cable TV for entertainment. In the morning, you can wake up to the view of the garden and pool after sliding open the glassed doors, perhaps making you wanting to go for an early morning dive before breakfast is served.

Tropical plants surround the outdoor area of villa Tara, making it easy to take a dip in the private swimming pool to experience Bali’s tropical island vibe. The garden is bordered by a high bamboo wall on one side, giving absolute privacy and the al-round ambiance is utterly peaceful. The garden is planted with lots of tropical greenery enriched by flowers of white, lila and purple. Steps in the green grass lead to the sun-deck where you can tan on one of the rattan sun-loungers to make you day complete.
The traditional Balinese living pavilion is designed open-plan for you to experience the art of tropical living. The interior design has a perfect blend of comfort and charm along with bright colors and a mix traditional and modern artwork, gives villa Tara its aesthetic feel. On one side there is a relax corner with Balinese sofa's topped with lots of colorful pillows. The perfect spot for afternoon tea. On the other side stands a timber dining table illuminated by a chandelier crafted from sea-shells. The closet in the back is filled with artefacts and books and the open-plan kitchen is equipped with everything your holiday home needs including afridge, toaster, blender and a coffee machine.
Complimentary services include high speed Wi-Fi internet access and housekeeping (except on Sundays). The villa manager is available 24/7 to respond to all guest inquiries. Guests have the option to book a babysitter, cook, car, scooter, massage and more.
Villa Tara is tucked in a quiet lane, just off of Jalan Plawa in the center of Seminyak. A short walk leads you to Seminyak's main shopping street full of fashion shops, souvenir boutiques and the Bintang supermarket. Double Six Beach with all of its colourful beach bars such as La Plancha is a 20 minutes walk away and just a few minutes on scooter. A little but further you will find the renowned 'eat street' in Oberoi and the famous beach clubs such as KU DE TA and Potato Head.
8.6/10The villa was well played out. Communication with the villa was swift and quick. Their in house chefs amd cleaning service were amazing. Sooo much food......stunning food.... its off the main road but close enough to everything you need.

8.8/10Villa Tara had everything that we need and the locations is perfect! 24h minimarket next door, Bintang Supermarkets 5 minutes, Craved Cafe just 5 minutes too. I've been using bali villa finder since 2014. It was the first time we were taking Mum and Dad to Bali. So we needed to make sure it was a good location for them to walk to the shops, to the beach and back to the villa. Villa Tara was a win win. We absolutely loved our evening times at the pool with a drink or so. All the garden light up and the pretty sky above us. Mum and sister said that not having a full body mirror in the villa it was a bit annoying. Would highly recommend the owner and manager to get that. But besides that we absolutely loved our stay
9.2/10We absolutely loved the pool at Villa Tara, we made full use of it throughout our entire stay. It got some shade for the whole day so there was always time to swim without worrying about sunburn. We purchased some cheap balls from the markets to use in the pool. Loved the location of the Villa, 5 min walk only to Bintang supermarket. There were many shops, restaurants and spa's all within walking distance. It was safe to walk around at night. There was no shortage of restaurants to eat somewhere different every night for our 11 night stay. The Villa itself is very well maintained. Any little thing that needed doing was all sorted out straight away (light bulbs etc). They supplied power point adapters for Aus to Asia so anything we had to plug in was no shortage of adapters. If you like to know the time bring your own clock's, there were none provided. The Villa is probably suited to families with older children, there is no internal walk through for the bedrooms, the only entry / exists all outside towards the pool which is a bit nerving for families with children that get up or call out for cuddles during the night. I ended up sharing the room with my 8 year old so he felt safe and comfortable. There are a few critters around, lots of geckos and we even had a mouse! We have spoken to the Villa mgr about it so he can sort out the pest control. The TV'S in the bedrooms only work with DVD'S and there are some supplied, although we didn't use them at all. The breakfast cooked for us each day was great and they would make for us what ever we wanted. The house keeper was also very lovely and very friendly. The pool man / gardener also came every two days to ensure the pool was always at its best. There was clean drinking water available at all times and the staff changed the bottle over for us when it went empty. Nice big cold fridge also supplied and ice trays which we made sure was kept topped up for our fresh cold drinks. Thanks for having us Villa Tara, we definitely enjoyed our stay.

8.2/10Great setup for family stay, overall quiet environment but limited interesting shops. Nearest shopping and cafe is about 20mins ride to Semiyak Square. Overall well maintained and chill environment. Would be idea to also add a big screen TV at the living hall.

The villa is clean and tidied, enough space for our family (4 pesons). The staff is nice and helpful. We have done a few villas already with Villa Bali and we are always pleased as the team is very helpful, careful and reactive.

10/10We stayed at Villa Tara in January 9 - 12 2020. The villa is beautiful, clean and very well maintained daily. We had a fabulous time with our family and really enjoyed the pool. Everything is very close by for great food and massages. The morning rooster is quite loud so no need for an alarm. Komang was very sweet and cooked a lovely breakfast each morning and will get extra staff you request for some variety. We would definitely return here again. Thank you so much!

I am not a morning person but our daily rooster gets us ready for the day at 06.00 am every day. we will defiantly be back! 10/10Our stay was amazing at Villa Tara, My family of four was accommodated between all three rooms, each room having air conditioning which was great at night and the indoor/outdoor area was perfect during the day to relax and also enjoy the pool which was always so clean. The staff attended every day and maintained the villa and were always so helpful, but most of all the team at villa-bali.com were the best I have ever dealt with before, during and after with arrangements and making sure our holiday was perfect. 9.8/10We spent a whole week with our 9 month old baby at Villa Tara, and truly loved it ! Set around a nice swimming pool, the house offers 3 rooms plus a large open living room to enjoy meals or a drink watching the swimming pool and the tropical garden. Beds are extremely comfortable, the house is decorated with taste, and all bedrooms have air-con. Though centrally located in Seminyak, it is at the end of a small passage and hence far from the traffic noise of the city. Actually, in the morning we had breakfast lessoning to the birds. Everything is in walking distance (restaurants, supermarket, massage, laundry, beach, shopping...), which we truly appreciated, as we couldn't hire a scooter with a baby. The cleaning lady is extremely nice and helpful, and the driver recommended by the house offered competitive prices and excellent services. All in all a great experience, which we will renew when we come back to Bali.

Other than that the rooms are tidy and comfortable and the staff wonderful. A pretty little hide-away in the middle of Seminyak close to restaurants, shops and beach.

Mama San is around the corner and that was most definitely our favorite for dinner - just make sure you book. We will stay at Villa Tara again!

9.2/10I was staying in Villa Tara with my family for about 5 days. The price is very reasonable as compared to most villas in bali. The villa is new. The location is good. There are a lot of shops in the vicinity. It is about 20 to 25 minutes drive from airport. All three bedrooms are facing the pool. Pool highest depth is abt 1.8m. Overall, I would rate it about 4 out of 5.
