A holiday in a luxury villa is always a special experience. Pick Villa Matigo, a beautiful 4-bedroom house that is located in the Tumbak Bayuh neighborhood of Canggu. It is fantastic in every way. This rental property is away from the beach and the touristy areas but you will still be an easy walk from the coast. The neighborhood is green and serene. You will be surrounded by many tall trees and rice fields. This is a village area with a laid-back lifestyle. The unhurried lifestyle of the locals will help you settle down easily and enjoy a relaxing stay.
Villa Matigo has 4 bedrooms for 8 guests. The furnishings include large king beds, dressing and seating areas, bedside tables with reading lights, and wardrobes with hangers and storage space. Much of the furnishing is antique and it goes very well with the traditional decorations in the room. Behind each bed, you will find a typical Balinese wall decoration. In each room, a wide glass door slides open to the garden and pool, providing direct and easy access.
The clean and uncluttered walls together with the high-quality mattresses will help you sleep better. The ensuite bathrooms come with showers. Hand and bath towels, and also luxury toiletries are provided.
Pool Deck
The villa’s outdoor area is beautifully laid-out. It is serene and quiet. The private pool is a special feature. Steps lead down gently into the shallow zone. The pool gradually inclines into the deeper section. On one side, you will find a garden and a lawn with garden chairs where you can relax and enjoy Bali’s sunny weather. There is a shaded area next to this with an outdoor lounging space. It has beautiful sofas and rustic tables. You can head to the shaded zone if it is raining or if you want to get away from the sun. Spend quality time with your friends or family in the outdoors.
This wonderful rental property also has a massage area in a different pavilion. It features two massage tables. Ask the villa manager for a professional massage therapist.
The villa is spread over an impressive 700 square meters and features a spacious and airy interior. It is thoroughly modern to ensure that the guests enjoy 21st-century comforts during their stay. But throughout the home, you will also find many Balinese elements, such as sculptures, paintings, and the typical alang-alang thatched roof, which adds a special touch.
The common living-dining space is in a separate pavilion, away from the sleeping areas. It is open on all sides and feels like a part of the outdoors. The traditional high-ceiling design allows plenty of air flow. The 8-sitter dining table sits at the center of the room. Next to this, you will find a seating area with an earthen sofa and armchairs. Beautiful chandeliers hang from the top. There is also a spa room with two massage beds.
Massage
All the rooms in this luxury property are air-conditioned. The bathrooms have towels, toiletries, and toilet paper. There is a kitchenette with stove top and other appliances. Pots, pans, tableware, and glassware are provided. Villa Matigo is a self-service home, but you can still rent a chef. There will be daily housekeeping. There is free Wi-Fi internet. The rooms are non-smoking. However, you will find designed smoking areas in the villa. You will also find a free parking area.
This cute family-friendly holiday rental will provide a tropical feel in Canggu’s rural neighborhood. You will find several cafes, restaurants, and shops only a short walk from the house. Located in Tumbak Bayuh, it is 6.2 miles from Tanah Lot Temple and 6.4 miles from Petitenget Temple, two major tourist attractions in Bali.
10/10What a fantastic villa!!! This place is great to relax and chill at. Everything is close by enough and the villa staff are so friendly. They made my stay so great and I'll look forward to staying there again in the future. Would highly recommend this place for the value it provides 🙂
9.8/10Booking our holiday with Villa Finder was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The team was responsive, friendly, and gave us great villa recommendations based on our needs. The villa itself was stunning—exactly like the photos—clean, well-equipped, and in a great location.
10/10I loved our stay and would definitely stay again. It was great that all rooms had their own bathroom and keys. We never had any issues booking a GoJek and it was around 40mins to Legian by car, 30mins by bike. The property itself is incredibly private and well cared for. The main bedroom has views of the rice fields. Air con in all rooms was a life saver on the hotter days. We loved the open plan living areas, the ability to cook your own food and the pool temperature was always inviting. If I stayed again I would want to spend more time at the villa and less time going out. This would justify the cost and it really is the perfect place to sit back and relax. Our staff was available daily from 9am-2pm if we needed anything. It was great leaving our laundry for her to sort out.
10/10The villa is really really beautiful and clean as the picture. There is some shallow space in pool so my niece and nephew can play water. Every corner of this villa is really aesthetic and beautiful, and the location not noicy at all. I can spend my all day just in the villa 😂😂 Bu Nengah & Bu Elyse really helpful and friendly. They clean our room every single day!!!! After we back from outside we saw our room so clean, and we can straight away rest with clean bed, omg I apreciated it so much. The minus about this villa is - there is 4 Bedrooms, only one room got hairdryer and it’s on upstair. The other 3 bedrooms doesn’t have hairdryer. - no microwave or oven - toilet in the corner room (the room beside massage place) quite smelly Idk why. 🥹 Thats all, other than that was perfect. And anyway it’s in Canggu so prepare for the traffic guys 🥹 but you wont regret to stay in this villa, I hope I can stay here again next time 🩵
10/10We stayed at Villa Matigo for 3 nights and loved the place. Bright and cozy decoration, exactly like the pictures, with great beds, good pool and sun loungers. Kartina helped us arrange an airport pick-up and the staff was wating to welcomed us despite our late arrival and were very polite and friendly. The bathroom was extremely spacious with an open-style rain shower, which is the only downside for me since theirs no way you won't splash the whole bathroom using it. However, the location is just a bit outside of Canggu and took us only 15-20 minutes to reach the best restaurants and the beach. For a group of friends wanting a peaceful but convenient villa, it is definitely a gem.
10/10Location was off canggu and it was the perfect mix of being far enough from the crowd but close enough to get everywhere within canggu by bike in 15mins! Villa was huge with a nice dining area that we used as a communal working station~ Every room had their own bathroom so it made day to day super convenient and comfortable!
10/10We really enjoyed our time in the beautiful villa. The staff is amazing. Very kind and helpful. The pool was perfect to cool down and chill. The area was always very clean. We definitely would stay a second time there. Thank you very much!
