Villa Liola is a wonderful tropical holiday home tucked in the peaceful area of Umalas, close to the beach and just a very short drive from the lively and colourful centre of Seminyak. This is a sanctuary of peacefulness, great for those seeking a place to unwind, relax and find inspiration yet it is also near to a popular beach resort town where you can shop, wine, dine and dance. This villa gives you the best of both worlds for sure!
Villa Liola features not one but two air-conditioned master suites. The spacious rooms have glass doors folding open to the garden and pool area. Inside the rooms are furnished with stunning canopied king-size beds and comfy reading chairs. Behind the beds there are large dressing-areas with wooden closets and the en-suites have the feel of a private little garden with rain-showers surrounded by potted plants and river stones.
The two guest bedrooms are dressed in heavenly white, both furnished with canopied queen-size beds, his and hers wardrobe corners and partly open-air en-suites with rain-shower and washbasins crafted from natural stone.

A teak wooden gate leads into the garden of villa Liola, where you are welcomed by a charming little turtle pond and a green little corner with a manicured lawn, perfect for kids to play at. The timber deck leads to the pool area that features a natural overflowing swimming pool, surrounded by lush exotic greenery and lots of hand-carved statues. The ambiance is so serene and relaxing that you can easily dose off when sunbathing on one of the comfy sun-loungers while listening to the birds chirping. Tucked in between the greenery at the end of the garden there is a romantic gazebo draped with white curtains. This might be the perfect spot for enjoying a traditional Balinese massage.
The living area has a lovely open-plan design with view over the garden and pool. The space features a beautiful natural stone floor and high white-painted Balinese roof with ceiling fans, giving an extra breeze. The owners love for Indonesia is visible with the beautiful photos printed on canvas and framed on the wall. There is an elegantly designed rattan sofa-lounge where you can curl up with a good book and next to it are two plush sofas where you can gather for some entertainment on the flat-screen TV. For dining there is a dark timber table with benches illuminated by two chandeliers crafted out of shells and the open-plan kitchen is equipped with everything you need.
The staff will welcome you with warm Balinese hospitality. There is personal guest assistance, daily housekeeping and security in the night.
Villa Liola is hidden away in a quiet lane in Umalas, an area between Seminyak and Canggu that is still surrounded by Bali's natural habitat of emerald rice-fields. Just a short walk from your front there lies a charming rice-field restaurant called Nook. They serve traditional Indonesian food as well as healthy breakfast and smoothies. Seminyak is the place to go for shopping, spa treatments, high-end dining and vibrant night-life. The beaches are great for swimming and surfing and in the afternoon you can lounge at one of the beach-bars (La Plancha) of beach-clubs (Ku DE TA or Potato Head) and gaze at Bali's breathtaking sunset.
