We had a family celebration over a week in Gili and had an amazing time. Villa was located in the best spot on Gili and had everything as portrayed in the pictures. Staff were incredibly helpful and the BBQ they did for us in the last night was sensational. Would definitely go again.

This was by far the best place I have stayed from accommodation to the staff it was amazing. The fresh and friendly greeting on arrival to the going above and beyond their duties the staff were the best! I couldn't find a fault with the stay, from knowledge about where to go to hows the best to relax they knew it all.

Perfect in every way. This villa is just as appears in the pictures: a beautiful, open-air retreat metres from its own private beach in front. The staff--most of all, Hade--were wonderful, catering to our every desire. Hade bicycled pizzas over from another part of the island because we were too lazy to leave the villa one night, and he wanted us to enjoy the best pizzas! Even the wifi was surprisingly good: superfast. Ignore anything you read about Gili T being too "noisy" or full of hippies. The villa is located in the quiet, more sophisticated northern part of the island. The loudest thing up here is the gentle morning call to prayer and the roosters (no joke, they're noisy. Bring earplugs). Gili T is a small island and we had a great time using the villa's bikes to circle the island each morning (about 30 mins). Restaurants and off licences are an easy 2 mins stroll from the house. We will definitely be back!

The Gili Beach Villa Satu really was an amazing experience, and I hope to return very soon! My only complaint is I wished we had stayed longer... I think that to really immerse yourself in the environment and let your stress and worries melt away, you would really need at least a week in this relaxing oasis. The villa is situated about 15 minutes away by horse-drawn cart, but it is well worth the trip to appreciate the quiet and serenity of the island and the fact that you won't hear a single motor on this island for your whole stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly, but they do leave you undisturbed for most of your time there if all you want to do is relax in the villa. There are a few restaurants within walking distance that will more than fulfill your cravings, especially if you're a fan of the local cuisine. The eggs are amazingly fresh, and the little restaurant just a few doors away (if you're facing the beach, turn right and walk 50m) is worth trying (make sure to try the fried rice and the fried chicken), very friendly owner and delicious food! Overall, would certainly come back here, though i would definitely bring a few mosquito coils or some insect repellant as those guys can be quite hard to get rid of once they're in the rooms.

The villa and rooms are clean, spacious, tastefully decorated. The pool was ok, good enough for the group but nothing to shout about. Breakfast was ok, they cooked the same menu through out our 3 days stay so we got kinda bored with the same food. Staff was really helpful and friendly. The villa manager was helping out a lot with our grocery shopping. Location wise, a bit far from the main happening area, either u cycle but u gotta go through a little bit of pushing the bike on the sandy ground....or a 20 minutes stroll. The road is dark at night so make sure u bring a torch along.

We stayed four nights at Gili T, two nights at a hotel near all the action and two nights at Gili Beach Villa on the north side where it is quiet and we definitely enjoyed the balance. In saying that, Gili Beach Villa is only a 5-10 minute bike ride into "town" and you are provided with 4 free bikes to use. Location wise - you can also snorkel right on your private beach during high tide which our 4 year old loved. Alessandro (villa manager) and his team are welcoming, accommodating and looked after our every request. Bedrooms were comfortable, great open floor plan to hang out by the pool with a group of friends / family.

Located north of the island, Gili Beach Villa combines everything you want. Quiet but 10 mins walk from the main tourist street, restaurants and bars, and 2 mins walk to restaurants a little more quiet (we recommend Wilson's Retreat, french restaurant, very good value for money). The villa has its own little "private" beach, perfect for diving. The villa is very nice, rustic, decorated with taste. The staff is discreet but Arian is always here for you! Ideal for discovery / adventure / relaxation :)
