Villa Mannao ticks all the usual boxes for contemporary villas in Bali - chic tropical décor, garden showers, infinity pools - and way more! Firstly the location - it's tucked away in a quiet lane with views of swaying rice fields of Kerobokan, yet only 10 minutes by car to the beach and attractions of Seminyak and Canggu. Then, there's the charming staff who intuitively anticipate your every need and will patiently await your decision on whether to fit in another in-house massage before sunset cocktails. Set in a tropical garden are eight bedrooms with at its center not just one but two impressive open-sided living spaces with soaring columns. Design is chic and contemporary, with a high standard of finishes throughout. The atmosphere is exclusive, private, laidback and utterly luxurious - perfect for families or friends holidaying together.
Villa Mannao is laid out in Balinese pavilion style, with four separate buildings for the rooms. The spacious master bedroom pavilion is located next to the main living pavilion, featuring a spacious fan and air-conditioned suite with a four-poster king-size bed, billowing mosquito nets, white linens and light duvets. Connecting to the master bedroom is a children’s room with two twin beds, ideal for any parents travelling with young kids or infants, as extra baby cot can be provided. Views are of the 20 meter pool, garden and rice fields. Dressing area has plenty of wardrobe space, complimentary bathrobes and a safety deposit box. The large bathroom is an experience in itself: double-sinks, huge stone bathtub, shower and baskets for personal knick-knacks are a nice touch.
The four deluxe rooms at Villa Mannao overlook the 15 meter swimming pool. The three superior rooms are nestled in a zen like courtyard with a small pond, just behind the main living pavilion. The four deluxe rooms and two of the larger superior rooms have comfortable mosquito-netted king size beds. The third superior room is perfect for kids with its two bunk beds that can sleep up to four of your darlings together in a large private room of their own. All seven rooms have ample wardrobe space and safety deposit boxes. The en-suite bathrooms boast twin washbasins with lots of space for your personal toiletries, garden and indoor showers and even an outdoor bathtub for the bunk bedroom.

Did we mentioned there is not one, but two pools at Villa Mannao? Choose between the 15 meter pool or the 20 meter pool for your days spent on one of the sunbeds. Both pools feature shallow ends suitable for families with children to swim and play safely. Next to the master bedroom is an Alang-Alang gazebo with cushioned seating for when you want to chill out and gaze at the sweeping sea of green rice paddies.
During the daytime, the spacious lawned garden facing the rice fields is the perfect spot for running around, kicking a ball or flying a kite. And in the evening, the staff can set-up a romantic dinner under the stars or a BBQ to share among friends.
Villa Mannao has a dining area that sits 10 people comfortably and there is an extra table for an additional 4 people.
Both open-sided living pavilions offer different lounging areas for you choose from. Gather on one of the three comfortable white sofas covered with plush cushions and an impressive hand hammered copper chandelier towering high above. Or sit yourself in one of the cozy sofa lounges or wooden day-beds at the front of the pavilion while watching the sunset behind the rice fields.
Massages and all manner of beauty treatments are available on request in the bright massage room located in the main living pavilion. The fabulous staff, headed by the charming Balinese Ayu and dedicated Balinese Trisna, provide an efficient concierge service.
Villa Mannao is just a short drive away from Seminyak’s beaches, vibrant shopping scene and famous restaurants such as Métis and Sarong. It’s close to the action but far enough to relax in privacy and feel the authentic Balinese lifestyle.
9.4/10Had a lovely stay at Villa Mannao with our friends. The villa was spacious, clean and very kid-friendly, with a great pool and comfortable common areas for everyone to spend time together. The staff were warm, responsive and always helpful throughout our stay. Location was convenient and overall it was a wonderful experience for a family getaway in Bali.
9.6/10The villas are mainly around the pools and very well equipped. The dining and lounge area is excellent, but what made this villa above espectation is the way the staff is taking care of everything, with a specifically reference to Ayu, who manages the entire operation perfectly.

10/10I possibly cannot put into word how magical this Villa is. The location, the facilities and the service were like nothing I could have ever wished for. Everything we needed was available and if it wasn't Ayu made it appear like magic! Ayu is the most amazing host, she seemed to be their 24/7 always with a smile and saying "no problem' to any of our requests. Ayu organised our transport, Massage services at the villa, Dr's in the middle of the night and food or drinks were cooked for us at any time of the day with the quality always exceptional. I was celebrating my 50th with family and friends, Ayu organised my bed to be decorated with a beautiful birthday message and a special dinner near the rice paddy with garden lights. To top my night off, Ayu's 3 beautiful daughters came in and did a special dance for the celebration that left me crying watching such beauty. Our rooms were serviced daily and all of the staff were so lovely and polite at all times. I cannot recommend both Villas to anyone travelling to Bali highly enough, I promise you will not be disappointed, only surprised with the way Ayu and staff go above and beyond at all times. Thank you so much for making our time in Bali and my birthday one of the most special times in my life that I will never forget.
10/10I hosted a photographer's retreat at Villa Mannao from May 18th-23rd. We are a group of 8 photographers and we had the most amazing time at the villa. The villa is way more gorgeous than the photographers I saw on Airbnb. It is luxurious, spacious, well appointed and absolutely stunning! The rooms are so beautiful! The surrounding lawns and rice fields are lush and vast! It was like heaven on earth. The staff was just the best I have come across. Right from the time I booked the villa, to organizing all the details of the retreat, the sightseeing, the delicious food at the villa - all the arrangements were handled exceptionally well. They even booked the sightseeing entrance tickets for our group, made reservations at the restaurants we visited, organised an amazing live traditional Balinese entertainment for us at the villa, a yoga class and a beautiful cooking class in Ubud. They organized a birthday cake for one of us at very short notice and took such good care of us. I would like to mention the names of a few staff, who we interacted with, who gave us the best hospitality anyone can ask for - Ratih at their head office, who was my main contact; Ms Ayu, who took care of all the details once we arrived at the villa, and her staff Darsin & Putu! There were a few more staff who were extremely helpful and kind - I could not get their names unfortunately. We felt like they all were family. We even danced together on the last night. It was heartwarming and I would love to come back to Villa Mannao! I highly recommend it for groups of 8-16 people. I would give them 11/10! Thank you for the warmth & genuine hospitality!

9.6/10There are not enough superlatives to describe how gorgeous this villa was and my overall experience. I went to Bali for my 40th birthday with 19 family members from different countries. The Villa Finder team was phenomenal from the start. I have never been so well looked after by such a service. Thomas and Sofi were extremely helpful from finding the right villa,in the perfect location for my group which had an age range of 10 - 70. They facilitated all my requests to enhance my guest experiences and were always available for my questions. Nothing was ever too much, it was a 5 star experience.

The villa is in an absolutely beautiful location backing a working rice field. we booked the entire villa both times and enjoyed three pools, exceptional customer service from Ayu and the team, as well as exceptional communication from Rakha. Food and drinks are delicious and fresh at the mannao. staff goes above and beyond! i lol forward to returning soon!!!

10/10The Villa Mannao and it's crew under the leadership of Ms Ayu keeps amazing me. It's been the third time that I spent my birthday here (2015, 1019, 2024) and we had again a fantastic time. Special shout out for the birthday dinner with the babi guling and the personalized coconuts. We'll be back! :)

Ayu and the rest of the team were amazing throughout the whole trip, assisting us with anything we needed and keeping our bellies full. Would 1000% recommend and would definitely stay here again.

This, combined with the convenience of having drivers whenever we needed, made our time here even more enjoyable and stress-free. All staff were lovely, attentive and went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. Blue Jay cafe around the corner and the hole in the wall yiros place were brilliant!

9.6/10I booked this villa along with Little Mannao for my company’s first-ever retreat. All of us work remotely, so for some of us, it’s the first time seeing each other in person after knowing them through screens. Being together in a huge place like this allowed us to spend time with each other, which is what I love about Villa Mannao. We absolutely loved the amount of space and greenery around the area. We had 2 young families that joined us with their little ones, and they loved that the kiddos have space to freely roam within the villa. The small downside feedback is that some sharing rooms have open-concept bathrooms, which can be quite inconvenient. The staff was fantastic, both in villa-finder (shoutout to Thomas and Sofi, who were my superheroes!) and in the Mannao Estate. Big hugs to Ayu, the villa butler, who was an incredible support throughout our stay. The villa can be a little tricky to find if you’re using ride-hailing apps, as the small lane can be overlooked. It’s just a small inconvenience that can get better the longer you stay, of course. It might be better to place a few signs along a few routes to get to the respective villas around the same area. Overall it was a wonderful experience. I hope to have the chance to stay here again, or somewhere else similar under villa finder :)
