Ubud Hills Villa & Resort can be found on a hillside in the beautiful lush green forest of Ubud. It comprises 10 villas all neatly spaced within enough distance so you feel like you are there on your own. The villas are modern, spacious and some have their own pools. My villa was 801, it had a pool with side area to sit and relax as well as a gazebo where the resort arranged for me to have some massages and to do a yoga session. All I could hear from my villa was the sound of rushing water from the nearby waterfall and the tranquil sounds of the forest, with the odd scooter or motorbike passing as staff came and went. It was relaxing, comfortable and extraordinarily peaceful. Whilst the resort itself was lovely, without a doubt the absolute best part of the entire week was the staff. Putu Deta, Adit and their team were nothing short of exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was available, from pick up and drop offs in Ubud at any time I needed, to advice on places to visit, restaurants to eat at and a personal shopping trip to pick up something I required for the trip home - thank you so much Adit. Every single person from the office management to the staff who served food and the drivers and the people who worked around the resort gardens, were friendly, respectful, courteous and truly kind and they made my stay there the best it could be. We enjoyed chats about life in Indonesia and had some laughs trying to understand each other's language. Puta, Adit and Daywar in particular were outstanding, I hope the resort owners realise the asset they hold in these remarkable people. Thank you to each and everyone there at the Ubud Hills Villa & Resort for giving me the opportunity to have a restful, enjoyable break and for looking after me so well. Kindest regards Kylie
