10/10Even more stunning in real life than in the photos! The architectural design and creativity of this place can be seen right down to the smallest of details. I cannot fault it in any way. We only used 1 of the two villas available which was great to have as an option seeing as we were only 2 people, but we would love to go back with friends. We can recommend tasting coffee at the Batukaru Coffee Estate and walking along the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, although once we checked in, we would have very happily just stayed in the villa for the whole stay! It was an amazing get-away weekends for the craziness of Southern Bali and we will 100% be back!
10/10This place is absolutely STUNNING. We highly recommend this place to anyone reading this, it is a real gem! The road leading up to the property is brand new so the access by car was easy and there is a large parking space onsite. You are greeted by the most amazing team. The very special access walking over the bridge is only the tip of the iceberg. This is one very special place to stay. The design and layout of the 2 independent villas means you can have your own private space, yet enjoy the most breath-taking view of Bali from high up in the hills in a very spacious living and dining area without a neighbour in site, just lush greenery and open views. It is truly an incredible spot. We also had a high-end lunch cooked by the chef on-site and his team, that was definitely a highlight for us as we are real foodies. We could have stayed there for much longer!
10/10Wow what an experience we had at Alam Mountain! I booked it as a surprise for my partners birthday party and it was just fabulous in every way. The location - I mean simply wow, what a view! There is a 180° panoramic view of Southern Bali which included views of Mount Agung, Batukaru mountain, Bukti, Nusa Lembongan & Penida islands.. The star gazing at night was also very special. You feel like you are in the middle of nature with the sounds of birds all around, yet you are staying in pure luxury. Everything you could need has been thought of, right down to some cosy loungewear for the fresher evenings. We really appreciated the quality of the villa. The breakfast was extremely good and the team on site during the day were so kind, yet discreet. 24h security was a plus and they are not actually inside the villa at night so it still felt very private. Don’t hesitate booking this place, it will most likely be on the most unique places you have ever stayed!

10/10This is an amazing place in the mountain region of Bali, wonderfully located on a hill with a spectacular view! The construction/design and interior of the house is veeeery beautiful and tasteful! The whole staff is extremely lovely - always helpful & attentive, giving you perfect privacy, but always there, when you need anything. Thanks to Made and the whole team it was a perfect service and perfect organization of everything. The in house chef Khadek is unbelievable - he is a fantastic and experienced cook and fullfilled all our wishes - we had the best food, we had all over our travels in indonesia. The view of the house is fantastic!
10/10The hotel is located on Amed Beach, so you can jump into the ocean or the clear swinning pool which is right in front of your room door. It is a small and lovely hotel with nice and helpful staff and manager (Mang Dueg). Our room was comfortable and enough large to spend our time inside when it rained. We were at the hotel during the off season, but the room and the hotel environment were clean and well maintained. The manager of the hotel helped us with everything we asked him about. Special thanks to the manager for transporting us when we needed it because of the rain or because it was already late.
10/10I cannot rave about Alam Mountain enough. Every detail was perfect. It is truly a paradise, a remarkable high-end retreat. The rooms are gorgeous, the views are breathtaking, the food is fantastic. The standards of it all not only met but exceeded my VERY HIGH expectations. I will most definitely be coming back to Alam Mountain.
