Le Rumah Lotus est un lieu de villégiature de deux chambres à coucher à couper le souffle et d'une tranquillité absolue. Son énorme jardin se fond parfaitement dans l'infinité de palmiers et de verdure qui entourent le domaine, ce qui vous donne un sentiment d'ouverture et de retour à la nature. Se réveiller avec une vue dorée sur les rizières et les pics des volcans de Bali est une véritable bénédiction, qui vous fera tomber amoureux de cette villa de luxe traditionnelle en un clin d'œil. Bien que vous ayez l'impression d'être loin de tout, le centre d'Ubud n'est qu'à vingt minutes en voiture, ce qui vous permet de profiter du meilleur des deux mondes.
Le Rumah Lotus dispose de deux suites principales climatisées, caractérisées par un thème de couleurs vives. Les chambres sont meublées de superbes lits doubles à baldaquin et de lits de jour pouvant accueillir des enfants supplémentaires. Elles sont également équipées d'une télévision par satellite pour le divertissement et d'une salle de bains privative. Offrez-vous un bain revigorant dans la baignoire autonome ou rincez-vous dans la douche extérieure en cascade. Une porte traditionnelle avec un minuscule toit d'alang-alang mène au vaste jardin de Rumah Lotus, qui s'intègre parfaitement au paysage environnant. Dans le jardin, vous trouverez des sculptures de Bouddha faites à la main, des étangs de lotus tranquilles et de nombreux coins salons confortables ainsi que des lieux de détente communs. La superbe piscine à débordement vous coupera le souffle, car elle vous invite à vous jeter à l'eau sur-le-champ. Ensuite, vous pourrez vous faire bronzer sur les lits de jour circulaires installés au bord de la piscine et recouverts de coussins orange vif. Plusieurs belvédères à toit alang-alang sont disséminés dans le jardin, parfaits pour faire la sieste pendant la journée, tandis que les enfants peuvent jouer à cache-cache ou taper dans un ballon sur la pelouse verte et bien entretenue. Le gazebo circulaire est équipé d'une table circulaire assortie, parfaite pour un petit déjeuner en plein air.
Le pavillon de vie spacieux et décloisonné se caractérise par un haut toit en alang-alang soutenu par des piliers en noix de coco, une décoration intérieure élégante et une vue imprenable sur la piscine à débordement et le paysage tropical qui s'étend à perte de vue. Le pavillon est décoré d'œuvres d'art indonésiennes, d'un canapé de luxe en daim et d'une table à manger en bois foncé, le tout agrémenté d'une palette de couleurs orange. Le bar-cuisine est l'endroit idéal pour prendre un verre ensemble dans le confort de votre propre villa. From the moment we arrived, we felt wrapped in warmth—not just by the beauty of nature, but by the incredible staff who welcomed us like family. Their kindness, genuine smiles, and constant care made us feel truly seen and at home. Every small gesture, every thoughtful detail, carried so much love. Surrounded by Ubud’s peaceful greenery, we found space to slow down, to reconnect, and to feel deeply grateful. This wasn’t just a stay—it was a shared experience, filled with connection, comfort, and memories we will cherish for a lifetime. 10/10What a location, perched among rice fields with the mountains as a backdrop, the real bonus was no neighbours. This was not only a beautiful location but also private which in Bali can be hard to find. We had 3 generations stay at the villa and loved every minute. I would recommend breakfast every day as there is no local shops nearby.
10/10We wanted to rent a villa that would make us dream, and we certainly did. What a pleasure it was to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool before being served the delicious meals prepared by the attentive staff. Made, who runs the villa and speaks French, drove us (for a reasonable extra charge) everywhere we wanted to go. First time with Villa Finder and definitely not the last! Thanks to the staff for all the contacts made before the trip. You too contributed greatly to the success of our vacation.
10/10Our stay at Villa Rumah Lotus was exceptionally amazing. Surrounded by rice fields, birds, farmers, and Mount Batu Karu in the background, the villa offered us peace and calm and an aura of tranquillity that we so needed as a family. The villa manager Made, the two cooks Yanti and Devi, the gardener and the security guard, offered us comfort and the best service one could ask for with the biggest smiles and politeness beyond words. They offered personalised service that catered for our needs. Massages, yoga, kite flying, bike riding, shopping, tours is just a few to name. Seeing the smiles on our kids was priceless. They have truly became part of our family. I would definitely recommend this amazing place to anyone with family or couples. We all loved every minute of our stay and will return in the future for sure. Thank you Made, Yanti, Devi and the rest of the team.

Nous avons fortement apprécié la localisation de la villa, qui bénéficie d'une vue extraordinaire à 180d° sans vis a vis ; la villa est dotée d'une superficie hors du commun, meublée et décorée sans faute de gout! Le manager qui vous accompagnera tout au long de votre séjour est d'une efficacité hors pair ! tout comme le staff de cette villa. Petit bémol : la nourriture et les menus plutôt basiques
10/10Our family of four stayed at Villa Rumah Lotus for four nights. It is the best place we have ever stayed at, surpassing some of the finest hotels. The villa is surrounded by rice fields, easy breeze, and beautiful sounds of nature. The villa itself is tastefully designed, with an infinity pool overlooking the rice fields, a large semi-outdoors living and dining room that’s perfect for relaxing and doing yoga, two comfortable bedrooms, and bathrooms with outdoor showers. Everything is beautiful. Not to mention the lotus pond and coconut trees. With perfect ambient music, the villa hit all the senses just perfectly and calmed every inch of my nerves. But the secret ingredient that makes the villa truly magical is the staff. Made, Yanti and Dewi are the sweetest people we’ve ever met. Made is not only the villa manager, but also the driver, the tour guide, the trip planner, the Balinese culture ambassador, attentive to our every need, answering all our curious questions, and just such a good guy. Yanti and Dewi make beautifully arranged and delicious meals. They also exude such sweetness and calmness that made our stay that much more heavenly. Them plus our security guard who doesn’t speak much but always greets us with big smiles and the gardener who we rarely see because he works so fast, make the best team. How they took care of us is an art in and of itself. We’ll be missing Rumah Lotus until the day we go back. There, I’ve told you the best-kept secret on earth.
10/10This was our first time to stay in the private villa. We found this villa through internet and decided to book because of the view and spacious pool. The staff at the villa was very friendly and made our stay memorable. My wife really liked the in-house spa. My daughter didn’t want to get out from the pool. 9.8/10Nach einem anstrengendem Anflug mit 6 Stunden Verspätung kamen wir in Bali an und wurden von Made (Hausmanager) herzlichst begrüsst mit kalten Tüschern. Auf der Hinreise zur Villa hat er uns einiges von Bali erzählen können, was uns eine gute Startunterstützung war. EIN riesen Danke noch an dieser Stelle für den grandiosen Support in Singapore, aufgrund unserer Verspätung mit dem Flug, ich als Hyperchonderin, fühlte mich stets gut betreut durch Trias und Okta von Villa-bali.com. Und Made ist wegen uns einmal umsonst zum Airport am Morgen gefahren, das tat uns um so mehr Leid, als uns die Strecke bis zur Villa bewusst wurde. Die Ankuft am Abend in der Villa hätte herzlicher nicht sein können, dass anschliessende Essen von Yanti war das Highlight des Tages. Jeder Tag begann für uns mit einem herlichen, nach Wunsch zubereitetem Frühstück von Yanti und Dewi, auf unsere Wünsche wurde jeder Zeit eingegangen und wir fühlten uns mit den beiden im Hintergrund nie gestört und es war immer schön kleine Gespräche zu führen und sich über seine Länder auszutauschen, da man hier betonen muss, dass wir nicht ganz realisiert haben wie "Angestellt" genau definiert war und wir dies gar nicht gewöhnt sind bzw anstrebten. Per Whats App konnte man Made immer erreichen auch wenn man etwas anderes mal sehen wollte, wie wir, und er hat mit uns ein Fussbalspiel von Bali United besucht und alles für uns organisiert. Das baldig entstehende Wissen, so nah am Trouble der City von Ubud zu sein und doch jeden Abend in ein kleines Idyll in den Reisfeldern zurück zu kommen war der Punkt, welcher die Erholung komplett machte. Da unsere Tage meisst nach dem Frühstück, ab um 11:00 Uhr, bis spät in die Nacht in Bali liefen, hatten wir jeden Abend freude unseren Sicherheitsherren zu sehen welcher uns auch stets herzlich begrüsst hat und wir uns 2 Wochen ohne auch nur je ein Schloss angefasst zu haben, ausser vom Motorrad, sicher gefühlt haben. Wir haben von der Villa ein Motorrad organisiert bekommen inkl. Helm und einem reibungslosen Ablauf, 2 Wochen lang haben wir uns sicher gefühlt und es hat uns zuverlässig von A nach B gebracht, auch durch den dichtesten Dschungel. Die Reisezeiten haben es teils in sich, vorallem wenn man Richtung Vulkane fährt, die herlichen Täler laden zu oft zum verweilen ein, aber das Land lädt sehr zum verweilen ein und darauf sollte man sich einlassen. Die Grünanlage der Villa ist sensationell, die Möglichkeit Kokosnüsse frisch vom Baum aus dem Garten zu geniessen macht teils süchtig, der Pool ist riesig und lud jeden Tag zum schwimmen ein, auch Nachts um 23:00 Uhr. In der Nähe liegt das Karsa Spa, auch wenn im Villa Angebot eine Organisation von einer Massage vorhanden und möglich ist sowie ein wunderbar liebevoll eingerichteter Raum an der Rückseite der Villa, lohnt es sich diese paar Kilometer zu fahren Richtung Ubud und sich unter freien Himmel verwöhnen zu lassen (Tipp: Grad bei Ankuft buchen gehen, furchtbar beliebt und ausgebucht). Nach 2 Wochen und bevorstehender Abreise, fühlten wir uns wirklich erholt und sind runter gefahren vom Alltagsstress und konnten viel über die Kultur und das Land erfahren, die Villa war ein super Ruhepol und die Zahlung am Ende mit Mastercard problemlos, aufgrund der entstanden Kosten von uns welche durch Getränke etc. noch dazu kamen,wo Yanti und Dewi einkaufen mussten. Aber auch wenn wir uns Getränke etc. gekauft haben, durften wir stets den Kühlschrank benutzen. Made hat sich am Abreisetag mit uns gemeinsam um unsere Rückreiseplanung gekümmert und uns zeitlich perfekt an den Airport gebracht. Kleine Randbemerkung: Die Fotos der Villa sind alle 1:1 und die Ruhe trotz "nur" 100m weiter weg von einer Landstrasse, super. Die Nähe zum Reisfeld ist nicht unangenehm und wir hatten immer Gekos zu besuch was uns gefreut hat. Trotz der Masse an Strassenhunde hatten wir 1 mal Besuch von einem, welcher nur durch das Tor schaute und dann wieder gegangen ist. 10/10A very pretty architect-designed villa. The infinity pool overlooking the rice paddies is superb. The staff are attentive to your wishes and very discreet. We'll be back with pleasure.

8.4/10Villa Rumah Lotus is absolutely amazing ! There is a lot of space, the swimming pool is massive and the view is breathtaking. The bedroom are extremely confortable, with a good AC and an attached bathroom with outdoor shower. The service is impeccable, with Made the villa manager always ready to help and accommodate any request. The only downside is the location, which is quite far from Ubud center. But that is a trade off to do for absolute peace!
10/10My husband and I stayed at Villa Lotus for seven nights this September. We were looking for somewhere quiet and this was magical. I'll never forget the view across the pool to the rice fields - it was like a Hollywood film set, it's so perfect. The staff were all lovely. The food was really good, daily massages in the spa room, and the lovely Made, who drove us into Ubud and bought us back after dinner every evening. I would recommend this villa to anyone who is thinking of booking. We have been to Ubud many times and this is by far the most beautiful villa we have stayed in. Just go!
10/10Very quick stay, but so worth it. The villa is a good bit outside of Ubud in the middle of a farm. The rice was not being grown while we were there, but we took a great walk with the caretaker to see more rice fields than we could imagine. Very attentive staff and great pool, bedrooms, outside private showers, outdoor living space, and grounds. Afternoon tea was great and meals could be prepared at any time. Great place to be at peace during an afternoon rainstorm. Sound system ready to liven things up out by the pool too, if that is more your style. Wish we had a week to stay here.
9.6/10We absolutely loved Casa Cinta 2. The pick up from the airport was a nice touch, and then arriving at the villa we were met by the manager who explained the workings of the villa. The location was perfect, with some very great restaurants within walking distance such as Watercress and Hog Wild. There was a minimart nearby and various massage places all within walking distance. We loved the simplicity of the Villa and the breakfast cooked for us were very nice. We had no other meals cooked for us since we were told that she could not cook very well. It was ok since plenty of restaurants nearby as mentioned. The Villa was spotless and had everything you need. The swimming pool and outside area were very sweet and worked well for us. We will definitely come back to Villa Casa Cinta 2.
10/10Villa Rumah Lotus is absolutely amazing - stunning location (unfortunately the rice fields in front of the house were dry due to problems of irrigation - nonethess the general environment still remained stunning, can only imagine how amazing it would be with the rice fields), spacious, luxurious & sophisticated decor. Mixture of balinese style and classic elegance. Made & the rest of the team were absolutely wonderful too - always helpful and smily! Highlight must have been the jungle trip we did with Made in the rice fields & jungle.

10/10We were in love with the villa on our first arrival. The view , the size of it & how beautifully serene it was. The rooms are large, clean & have plenty of storage with an open bathroom. Views over the rice paddies. Watching the paddy ducks go home at night. Breakfast wasn't overly interesting but it was made with love. We ate twice at night at the villa & the food was fantastic. Candles lit music playing gorgeous evening. Transport was readily available to UBUD centre & activities for a reasonable price. The staff are incredibly helpful. We would highly recommend Villa Rumah Lotus if you are looking for a quiet holiday. We stayed 5 nights before going down to Seminyak.

Waking up to paddy fields, tress and mountains has been an unenected pleasure every morning. Everything has been so luxurious. Catching BELUT ( paddy field worms) were a highlight. Lastly we cannot say enough about the staff here. GUSTI with his smiley presence and what we can only imagine are his ninja stealth skills. KETUT keeping everything beautiful. YANTI, a wizard in the kitchen and so warm and friendly and lastly everyone’s hero MADE! He’s been so helpful ,kind and informative. Our son adores him. The staff here make Rumah lotus what it is! Thank you for an unforgettable time.”
