Villa Toba

We stayed at Villa Toba and Tomok for one week over NYE. The two villas are in a great location in Canggu and the staff was just incredible. They helped us constantly to make our stay perfect (eg, renting scooters, arranging massages or transport and even cooking a great BBQ for all of us for NYE). All rooms are spacious and nice and they have a private bathroom. I wish I stayed longer there And I’ll definitely come back!

This villa was just what I needed for my short vacation in Bali. Waking up to swim and watching the man working on his paddy field, was only in my imagination until I stayed at Jabunami! Had a massage lady to come (she brought along the massage bed) and I would have had massage every day if only I stayed longer! The owner and her staff were amazing :) couldn't have asked for more.

If you're like me, you've spent countless hours upon hours upon hours searching for the perfect spot to spend your vacation at. Search no more. Jabunami Villa has everything you're looking for and more. From the moment that we were picked up by Ketut, an amazing young man with a sincere and kind personality, we were in awe. Since this was our first time out of the country, we were nervous and wanted to make sure that we found somewhere safe and accomadating. Jabunami Villa was just that. With 24 hour security, a kind and loving staff, KoKo the amazing guard dog- we felt safe and secure the entire stay. The staff is above amazing... You would have never know Made was getting married in a few weeks - because he put every effort into making our agenda a perfect one and arranging for us wonderful activities. Putu had a baby that was sick but she never even led onto that there was anything else important other than catering to our needs. Iluh, and Kadek were always available to help with breakfast and tidy of the villa. Kacong was expecting a baby and yet he was always there to help with whatever we needed as well. At the end of the week my husband and I hated to leave, not because of the beautiful grounds or the comfy beds, or the the private pool overlooking the rice paddies, but because Made, Putu, Ketut, Iluh, Kacong, and Kadek had all become like family to us and we hated saying goodbye. The breakfast was delicious and above average. You have two choices. American breakfast or Indonesian breakfast. The pool was always kept clean and so was the grounds. They come in every day to make the beds and replace the towels. The mosquito net was very helpful. My husband and I didn't get bit once while we were there. Although I do recommend you bring repellent with you like we did. Also, if you're concerned about wifi - no need to worry... the wifi in the villa works perfectly...better than what I get at home. Based on the prior reviews, everyone made it seem as if Canggu was so far away but honestly I loved the location. And the prices for hiring Ketut were reasonable. We loved his honesty and enjoyed his company. If you want to treat him to dinner but he won't let you - order him Nasi Goreng. He loves that. :) We loved getting his opinion on where to go for certain things too. One thing you can't buy-trust! The trust that we had with our driver and the staff is rare I don't think many other villas can guarantee that kind of assurance. Ruth the owner was very personable. She made herself available continually throughout the trip. We appreciated that very much. A few tips and suggestions: If you're looking for a more relaxing quiet peaceful setting, Jabunami is your place. We tried Echo Beach cafe/restaurant twice and didn't like it but that' s just us. We actually thought the food was good but the service was bad. We definitely recommend NOOK which in maybe 10-20 depending on traffic. Beautiful little place recommend to us by others in the next villa over. It overlooks rice paddies and food is delicious. Also Dandelion is very close to the villa and has beautiful bunnies hopping around everywhere. Great food and ambiance as well. I came back to the states and told all my friends and family about Jabunami and many want to travel to Bali just to stay at this Villa. Hopefully if they are ever having a great deal on their villa again, I will be able to return with my husband and other friends and family as well. Thank you Jabunami -we love and miss you so much!

Nice place to stay with friends or family, large bedroom, spacious living room overlooking the pool and ricefields. All the staff were amazingly helpful and always smiling and polite. The breakfast was great specialy the pancake and nasi jinggo love lovee...Thank you for Jabunami Villa for the great service, I had wonderful holiday and I will definitely come back.

I stayed with my family in villa Toba in March. There was some confusion when the driver picked us up but this was cleared up after the driver confirmed with the villa management. Upon reaching the villa, we were greeted by the butler, Gustu, and his team and given an orientation of the villa. Villa was new and clean and is situated in a quiet location off the main road. Good for those seeking peace and nature. Gustu and team did a great job in taking care of us during our stay, especially the breakfast (including the one which they had to prepare in the early morning due to our early flight) and the excellent BBQ dinner that exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and price. Thanks Gustu and team for a wonderful relaxing stay! Pros: 1. Excellent BBQ Dinner 2. Great service from Gustu and team 3. Quiet location Things to improve: 1. Portable emergency lamps to be stored in the villa. We encountered a power trip during one stormy night and took a while for Gusta and team to bring in the lamps from their compound. 2. Communication between the Villa management and the driver on pickup.

A group of friends and I did want to take the wives for a relaxing trip while we could enjoy golf! This came to be perfect, airport pick-up, car availability for going out, shopping (for the ladies) and golfing for us guys! Really relaxing for people living in Beijing to get away from pollution and traffic. The antipode of China!! Beautifully decorated, the bungalows are really kept in meant condition and great for families. It is a great value for money compare to 5* hotels, as long as you don't need anyone to cook your breakfast!! Otherwise the Beach House has great food, Indonesian cuisine is great around.
