Villa Bukit is a vacation complex which consists of two double-storey pavilions typifying traditional Balinese architecture - although with a predominant color scheme that's fiery, bright and warm instead of the usual earthy hues and tones. The villa has three bedrooms. The Rumah Kebun bedroom is on the ground floor of one pavilion. While the Rumah Agung and the Rumah Ombak bedrooms are on the topmost floors of both pavilions. All bedrooms have dedicated bathrooms with natural stone bathtubs as well as rain showers. All bedrooms also have canopied and draped king-sized beds - although one bedroom has additional twin beds up on a built-in attic style loft. Second floor bedrooms open out to balconies with spectacular views of the Badung Strait and Mount Agung. While the ground floor bedroom has direct access to the swimming pool.

Laid out between the villa's two pavilions is the 11-meter swimming pool. Leap into its refreshing, crystal clear waters for some mindless wading or for some playful splashing. Out of the water, you can stretch out on cushioned, wooden pool or circular day beds on poolside wooden decks. Or, sit back or slumber under the shade of the bales at both edges of the property.
On the breezy, semi-open ground floor of one pavilion is the living area with its hefty, cushioned and ornate wooden benches. At the bigger bale at the far end of the swimming pool is the dining area. On its long wooden table that can seat 10, you can all sample authentic Balinese specialties - as well as foreign fare - masterfully prepared by the resident chef at the kitchen section beside the dining area.

Villa Bukit is situated in Nusa Lembongan - a small island just off the southeast coast of Bali. From the villa, head west to the Bali Marine Walk where you'll be submerged six meters underwater wearing specially designed helmets. From under the water, go underground at the Goa Gala-Gala House. On another occasion, go sightseeing at Devil's Tear then catch a glimpse of the spectacular sunset at secluded Sandy Bay. You can also venture north for a tour of the Nusa Lembongan Mangrove Forest. If you love to surf, you simply must take on the Lacerations, Playground and Shipwreck reef breaks.
10/10We were blown away by this incredible accommodation. The staff were amazing, friendly and so helpful. They organized local goods for us from the market. The rooms were massive, beds were comfortable and the fridge was fully stocked. The owner caught us as we were leaving to show us the whole property. An absolute gem for a family or group of friends travelling together. Our location was perfectly central to the island and getting around on a scooter organized by the villa was a breeze.
9.2/10Incredible place up on the "country side" of Nusa lembongan, no noise from town, waking up to birds and the nature every morning. And watching the beautiful sunrise over vulcano agung from your bed. Only problem is that you have to take a taxi or scooter to town or the beach. Did not bother us. Easy walk 10 min walk. Staff super friendly and helpful with bookings of boat trips and so on. Be prepared when you go to Bali that haggling is a big deal. Most of the time you can get it down to half the price than what people say. No matter if it's a t-shirt or snorkling trip.

10/10This villa is situated about 5 minutes drive from the main section of the island. Right from the very first day the staff made us feel like part of the family. The villa is spacious, clean and comfortable. We rented a buggy for 5 of us and the villa were able to help us with the organisation of this with 10 minutes. The food cooked for our breakfast was simple but delicious. Arya, Wayan and the staff were just so special. You will not regret staying here at all! Thank you guys! See you again one day :)
10/10My husband and two teenage children stayed at Villa Bukit for five nights. The Villa lived up to our expectations and beyond. It is a perfect place to unwind in beautifully furnished rooms and gardens and breathtaking views.. We absolutely loved the layout of the villa with plenty of space for a family to enjoy. The Villa's pool was ideal with nearby beaches a good contrast. The staff at the Villa were freiendly and willing to assist and please in every way. The restaurants, sights and activities on the Island are plentiful and great for all ages. The Villa and Island is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland where you are able to experience the true Balinese life. The entire stay was perfect. We will definitely be back again.
10/10We stayed at Villa Bukit for three nights in early 2016 after after receiving a glowing recommendation from some family friends. The villa was absolutely beautiful; the living areas were spacious and tasteful; and the staff were welcoming and professional. We will be returning soon!
